Jaws is what i consider one of the only perfect movies ever made. I first watched it when i was six years old and it scared the **** out of me. Now every time i go to the beach i hear the jaws music and think theres a shark in the water.Jaws is so effective because through out the movie you barely see the shark and when it finaly shows its self it scares the crap out of you. Also the setting works most of the movie takes place either on a Island or in the middle of the Ocean where no one can help you. John Williams score is also effective in creating fear and suspense. The sequels sucked exept for Jaws 2 which was ok. But Jaws 3 and Jaws the Revenge Sucked.

xD it gave sharks such a bad reputation when it came out... overall it was great... and the music was perfect for it...

This movie has so many impersonators its impossible to keep track of them. Some include Grizzley, Great White, Cruel Jaws, Pirranaha, Barracude, and Orca. But none of them live up to this movie. Truley an American classic.

Well not so much the last four... I only saw 1, 2, and 3, but from what I've heard 4 and 5 were crap too...

This was truly a great movie, one of Spielburg's earliest classics. 10/10.

This one's aclassic. Quite possibly one of the best films ever made. EVER.

No, I'm pretty sure there's 4.
1 is awesomesauce, 2 is meh, 3 is TERRIBLE, it was originally going to be a parody, but it looks like it practically was one, and 4 was So bad it was not only worse than batman and robin, it was probably one of the worst movies of all time. So bad, it was funny. Jaws could fly and roar.

I, and many other people, perfer to believe that there weren't any sequals to the origonal Jaws, for obvious reasons...
