Now, Legendary Pictures is busy doing a remake of one of the best Stop-Go animation films ever, and that's CLash of the Titans. The film was Ray Harryhousen's (The creator of Gwangi and 1,000,000 BC) last film to do the Special Effects for, a truly spectacular film about Perseus, who sets off to fight gigantic monsters and demons for revenge. Currently, the remake is set to be releashed on March 26, 2010, and has quite abit of CGI in it.

Yes... that is the Kraken I summoned...

I also like the design for Medusa. She not only has an air of beauty, but of mystery and horror to her...

Medusa looks awesome. The harpies are pretty neat looking too. Those scorpions are HUGE!!!!

Oh yes... I agree with you on all those points...

If this film is a Box Office hit, and is well liked by those who see it, perhaps the possible Godzilla reboot due in 2012 will redo the wrongs of it's predecessor back in 1998..

Looks amazing...I hope it turns out to be as good as 2005's King Kong.

As for KP's post? Sure he assumed it was the classical design of a Kracken...which is a giant octopus. This one is different for some reason. Nonetheless cool.

It does look amazing... I am definitly seeing this when it comes out...

And What KP does, goes... That I have learned the hard way... So his Kraken>my Kraken with ease...

It's like me and my futile attempts to peirce the titan's shield with Vegnagun's laser. *shakes fist* darn admin power.....

Anyway, King Kong 2005 was good, but the boat part was too long. It was as long as the original movie: an hour and 40 minutes.

I loved the original Clash of the titans, so I have high hopes for this one. However, 1 question: Where's Calibos?

Also, I hope the 2012 Godzilla redo is better than the 1998 one. Not that it was terrible, it just wasn't good.

If you watch carefully, Calibos appears at abuot 1:09 or so...

I saw the remake today and all I have to say is that it was good. It was a good movie, not great but good enough. But the original is still my favorite for one reason only because ray harryhausen did the effects.
