Doom Island: History Of Raptoria (book 0)

Have you got a game, book or movie you'd like to make a story out of? Want to expand on a story or plot that stopped? Have an original idea for a story that you want to post somewhere? Here's where to do it. Basically an RPG where one player controls ALL characters in the story.

Doom Island: History Of Raptoria (book 0)

Note: I apologize, but some parts of this haven't been translated yet. The story is known by all, but the secrets are hidden. For good reason.

Another Note: Raptorians live ridiculously long.

A Final Note: Raptorians are Velociraptors 100% of the way. The only difference is the Raptorians are sentient.

Chapter 1: The Archaic Period
Although we appeared roughly 52 million years ago, we weren't civilized until about 5,000 years ago. That was when Raptisan reigned. As the first ruler we had, we didn't know what to expect. Would he be a good leader? Of course he was. Under his guidance, we had united into a mighty nation. However, he ordered us, under punishment of death, not to interact with humankind in anyway. We obeyed, not because of fear, but because of respect. So, without contact with the humans, we had built ur empire. We had invented things humans wouldn't invent for many years. While they huddled together in their huts, we had spaceships. However, a time came, about 7 years after Raptisan became our leader, that a member of one of the few remaining Tribes had wandered into our city. Raptrese, as she was called, stole Raptisan's heart. A perfect relationship was theirs, and we had a queen for the first time.

Unfortunately, the remaining text is not yet translated into english.

Chapter 2: Golden Age
200 years had pasted since Raptisan had let his son Ranos succeed him. Chamess, the new queen, was diplomatic, and wished to interact with the human race. However, Ranos wanted to obey his father's wishes and refused to contact them. We soon realized that Chamess was right. We were running out of room on our continent that the humans would so stupidly call Atlantis. Raptor Island translates into Atlantis. But enough of that. More and more people opposed Ranos and eventually there were riots and even a military uprising. However, Ranos' eldest son, at only the age of 17, had seen a vision of the future. He had seen a world where we lived side-by-side with the humans. His name was Rick.

When Rick was 46, his younger brother and sister were 39. Richive was stubborn, and he began to attack the humans because, "They are weak creatures that should be wiped out." Seeing this, Ranos selected Rick as his heir. This only served to infuriate Richive, who attack Rick in an attempt to become king himself.

He almost succeeded. Raptrayu II, the son of Raptrayu, Raptisan's brother, and Irene, daughter of Ranos and brother to Rick and Richive, had discovered what Richive was planning. They were far too late. When they arrived, Rick was bleeding on the ground, his eyes glazed over in shock. Richive stood over him, blood dripping from his claws. "He was weak. He desereved to die." Irene, horrified at Rick's death, fled, leaving Raptrayu to fight alone.

A long and bloody battle ensued. Raptrayu lept at Richive, but the attack was dodged and Richive raked his claws along Raptrayu's flank. Raptrayu spun around to face Richive, but he had gone. Richive suddenly attacked Raptrayu, screaming, "YOU WILL DIE JUST AS HE DID!!!!!!!!" Richive avoided the attack and caught Richive's throat. He placed a claw on Richive's neck to finish it, and tore his throat out.

The remaining text has not been translated yet.

Chapter 3: Modern Era
As Raptrayu II gave his throne to Raptrayu III, the world fell into chaos. Humans invaded Raptor Island and had killed millions. Raptrayu could not stand for this and led a war campaign against the humans, under the guise of a US rebellion. The humans believed to this day that the Revolutionary War was between the US and the British. But it was really the Raptorians and the British, in retalliation to the British breaking the treaty set down by Rick so long ago. Angered to such an extent as to leave the rebellion going even after the Raptorians had sunk back into myth and legend.

The remaining text is not yet translated. Sorry for the inconvenniance.

Chapter 4: New Reign
2000 AD
Raptorians have faded into myth and legend. Humans have forgotten them, mistaking the old truths for lies about dragons and the like. However, Raptrayu IV, a promising young leader, the last true king of the Raptorians, will change this forever. He had a human daughter. Her name was Reily.

Very sorry, that is the farthest we have gotten in our translations.

End of Story until more translation is done.
Well, this ties into something. Yes, it is the prequel to Doom Island: The Fatal Mistake!

I'm sure you all have many, many questions, like, why I didn't mention Reily's brother, or her mother. Well, to be honest... I said that more translation is required.

Raptorian is easy to write, but painstaking to translate once you forget what it was.

Delightful prequel. A bit like being caught in a washing machine and spat out in an unfamiliar yet pleasant room.
