Chapter one: RP_Hometown1999

The town was bustling as players went about their business. The town square was being cleaned up by the good citizens of the town, making sure the place around the ornate fountain was clear of clutter. The fountain was a jade green, with a large base, a skinny column extending from that and ending with a tip. Two dishes extended from the column, the smaller of the two being near the top with water flowing down onto the larger basin underneath, which spilled into the larger pool that was the base. Next to a fountain was a tree, not too tall with a rounded off top, neatly trimmed leaves giving off an emerald glow as the sun light shone through them. Surrounding the square were a few buildings, the cloest one being white and sporting a black, retangular sign that was longer in width than length. Along the sign, the word Hotel was written out, the H being at the top and the rest of the large white letters following down it. A few of the denziens of the map chatted idly to the side, standing on the light gray bricks that paved the square. Yes, it was an ideal community. Everyone seemed happy. Everyone had a story. Everyone prospered. Even the Combine Metro police, ussually harsh and ruthless with its law enforcement, went out of its way to maintain the peace and happiness of the citizens. They went out of their way to crush the gangs and mafia that were smuggling drugs into the city. Shoot outs and murders were a normal thing before this happened. The uniformed operatives patroled the streets dilligently, making sure that everyone abided by the law and maintain the order. This wasnt a major thing however, as for the most part, everyone did. For the most part. Screeching tires disrupted the peace. Heads turned to the street, eyes wide. A blue chevy corvette sped past, a blur. Smoke bellowed out of its undercarriage as it skidded into a turn, leaving scorch marks that rounded about the side walk. Pedestrians jumped back. Players were visably frightened. This wasnt what they were used to. From behind, Metrocop APCs chased after the corvette, the sleek vehicles passing by nimbly, unlike the corvette they were chasing. By now, the car had ran countless stop lights, paid no mind to the traffic signs on the sidewalk, and changed lanes without any thought to the other cars sharing the road. The electronic droning voice of a Metrocop was blared over a loudspeaker mounted on the APC. "Formula, cease or we will be forced to impliment lethal force" The window of the corvette lowered, the heavilly purple padded arm and black gloved hand of a Combine Prison guard sticking out. His fingers all folded in except the middle one, and he started waving it about. "You leave us no choice" The voice droned on. This would be the last thing said in this chase. The car swerved about anouther turn. Almost immediately, he found himself being flanked by APCs that were speeding down the intersection. They turned the corner of the street and were quickly gaining on the Corvette, rolling up to its sides. These APCs had a long barrled machine gun on the side, and they turned to aim at the car, before showering it with bullets. The bullets ripped through the vehicle, as if the metal was paper. Holes marked the panelling and the car's tail lights were shot out, glass exploding out onto the street. Formula slammed the steering wheel to the left, leaning with the motion as the car spun about the corner. The beating of helicopter blades were drawing near, and out from behind one of the city's sky scrapers came a chopper, its nose turret aimed right at the car's wind shield. "Sh*t!" Formula exclaimed as he suddenly wrenched the steering wheel to the right, swerving out of the way as the chopper opened fire. The thumping of bullets hitting asphalt trailed after the car as the chopper angled backwards before it strafed over. The bullets slammed into the roof of the car, metalic clangs ringing out through the streets. The APCs, still hot on the corvettes tail continued to fire, hoping to take out the car's gas tank. It was better to have the car run out of fuel and apprehend the scoundrel than kill the driver and have it speed out of control, mowing down all in its way. A shot slammed into the rear left tire. The car jerked to the left as a bullet from the chopper turret took out the front right. The car swerved to and fro, thick gray smoke wisping out. Before he knew it, Formula had plowed through the door to a shopping mall, glass flying everywhere. The car swung about, over turning when it hit a jewel display counter. It crushed the display as it rolled over, rolling over repeatedly, panicked players darting out of the way. Finally, the car came to a stop on its driver side, a trail of destruction being left in its wake. In said trail, were the car's side view mirrors, chips of metal and fragments of the windows. The door on the passenger side opened, pushed up by the battered driver. He put his hands on the dented sides of the door and lifted himself out of the wreck with some strain before swinging his legs out of the car. He then let himself drop down onto the once clean, white tiled floor. Formula looked about at the shocked and appalled crowd. He was silent for a few moments, before asking with the combine drone "And thats why you always where your seat belts...and make sure you have airbags...and all that sh*t" Just then, the APCs pulled up to the mall, door opening. Metrocops armed with SMGs flooded into the mall. Formula shrugged and sat down as the officers closed in on him, guns aimed for his head and chest. "Get down!" One of the Metrocops demanded. "I am already down, smartass" Formula replied. A swift kick to his helmet was his response. "On your stomach!" The cop yelled. "Woah, man I dont go that way" Formula said. "Maybe you'll find someone else to-" Another kick to the helmet, bashing his head against the hole ridden car. He was already dazed from the crash and the first kick. This one knocked him out, and with that, he fell forwards into blackness...

First, what post limit? Doom Island and Chaos Island are both much longer than this.

Second, BRILLIANT! I'd really like to see more of this!
