GDF Origins: The Monster Genocide Series

Have you got a game, book or movie you'd like to make a story out of? Want to expand on a story or plot that stopped? Have an original idea for a story that you want to post somewhere? Here's where to do it. Basically an RPG where one player controls ALL characters in the story.

Prologue

When the world was consumed in prolonged chaos of the monster plague that was the gyaos, the Global Defense Force introduced a mecha unit that would become one of the most effective device for the preservation of the human race, deployed readilly to face any threat along with the other primary attack mechs. This mecha unit proves that technology isnt the answer to everything, and some times, you need a human touch to get the job done..

Chapter One: When The World Belonged To The Giants

When the monsters became too hard to control, they ran rampant across the globe. They destroyed cities for no appearant cause. Their battles desimated human life. The situation grew more and more dire. By this time, the human millitary banded together, to stop fighting individual wars and to focus on the greatest threat to the planet, the monsters. This united millitary force went under the name GDF, Global Defense Force. And in time, this faction would be feared by even the most dastardly of villains, from Earth or space.
"How's progress on the new mecha?" A man in a white coat asked to his many peers. The room they were in was covered in a dark blue glow. They were peering out of a window at the massive dark gray form in front of them, held up by mechanical clamps and support columns as mechanical arms welded various objects onto the space titanium frame. "Project Tyvexious should be completed with in the month" a woman in a lab coat replied. "We are confident the sacrifise of the other MechaGodzilla projects will be justified when this new mecha is deployed for the first time" The man nodded. It was too long until action was taken, because during this time, monsters ran freely through cities with only light weapondry to stop them, heavier forces being scarce at the time. It was around this same period that new monsters began appearing...

Chapter Two: The Plague

"Reports are flooding in from all across the world!" A GDF operative yelled, seeing the read out at his computer. The operative next to him yelled "Sensors are picking up monster signs sweeping across the Northern hemisphere!" Another exclaimed "Satalite imagry picked up some sort of...swarm!" THe GDF commander, appointed at the bride above the U shaped array of computers infront of the giant blue hued world map ordered "Scramble the mechs, send every unit and a squardon of our armies to every major city still standing" An operative radioed to the commander's chair "What about the new one?" The commander rpelied "It's still experimental, but we might as well send it on it's maiden voyage; scramble G1 to where the swarm is heading, if the simulations we ran are correct, it should be able to hold the monsters off until back up arrives."

Soon after in GDF Base: One, housing sector

In a fairly messy room, not too larger than the average bed room, a figure laid under white sheets, papers cluttered on his desk and floors. His computer was still on, a blue screen giving off a dim glow to the dark. Suddenly, an alarm blared, a red siren light spinning on the ceiling. "Im awake!" A man in a plain blue pajama ensamble yelled as he shot out of bed, throwing his sheets off and darting across his papers, the many lines of systems that his mecha unit had and he had to remember. He ran over to his door, hung up on door mounted rack was a spandex like orange suit. Getting out of his pajamas in a frantic movement and then putting on the suit, he then opened his door, it sliding to the right. He then rushed into the hall way, the door sliding back into place automatically with a mechanical hum. After stopping at a door in the hallway's wall and pressing the button, the man waited for the elevator, it arriving soon after he pressed the red triangular button. The door parted down the middle and moved apart and the man ran in, pressing the button on the number pad that had the black letters "MHB" inscribed into the white button. 40 seconds later, the elevator door opened and the man ran out, a large jet like vehicle mounted on a platform. "Jackson!" A dispatcher yelled to the man as he ran up mobile stairs, like those used to board airplanes. "This is a scramble, so we dont have time for the ussual launch procedure, or time for mission briefing, the commander will tell you what you have to do enroute. Jackson nodded, his low laying black hair jumping slightly. He then ran into the opening in the giant jet's side, running along it's length and into the cockpit, taking the lone seat in the command center of the mecha. Jackson strapped himself in, the jet's controls rising from the ground where a pannel of metal dropped down. Two shifters flanked the pilot's front, a U shaped steering wheel with two black buttons moving foward to the pilot's reach. A square surface also rose from the floor, a black helmet with an orange tinted visor and a face mask with a breathing ube displayed on it. Jackson took the helmet and put it on, fastening the face mask to his mouth. He then spoke, the face mask also serving as his communications "G1 ready for launch!" A feminine voice replied "Copy that G1, best of luck to ya" The jet trembled as two clamps locked onto the unit's body, tilting it until it was vertical, the mecha hanger bay's dome ceiling parting quickly with a loud mechanical hum. G1's pilot let go of the steering wheel, pushing the shifters foward, the jet engines on G1's wings blasting to life with red flames. "Primary burn activated" Jackson messaged. "Rodger, releasing" The same voice from before replied, the clamps letting go of the mecha and moving back from it. The jet then roared upwards into the air, leveling out soon after. From the cockpit roof, displays lowered, being radar, mech status, power level, system list and so on. G1's first battle would be against the monster hordes, the gyaos..

"Stritch!" The commander's voice sounded. "The swarm's going inbound on New York City, make sure you hold them off as long as possible until other units can join you"

The story looks good so far. The way you've described Tyverxious being created has left me curious as to whether you'll mention the other GDF units being created later on in the fan fic.
