You have real talent...I envy it. XP

I'm curious. Did you ever take art classes?

LOL I love cookies :P
XD

And no. I'm entirely self taught. I have not taken one lesson for graphite or colored pencil. The reason is because, well, I simply refused to. Artists need to develop their own style. How can you develop your own style if someone is sitting there giving you an EXACT step by step on how to shade/draw/color? You can't. It's something you need to do.
That's also why when I made my wolf tutorial, I didn't provide photos of it. The person who is using it cannot use my references while they are drawing, they need to develop themselves. ;)

I've tried to use books before. It's more effective to do it myself I find. I've done it better myself than using a shading tutorial book.

So very simply, I don't fully believe in lessons. I have not taken one lesson for graphite or colored pencil.
It also runs in my family. My grandpa could draw and paint. My cousin can draw and paint and happens to be an artist. Several others as well. It's just a gene thing too. :P
XD

I used to be nothing like I am now one year ago. To go from what I used to be to what I can do now, is quite a jump in one year. It's something only practicing yourself can do, even with every resource in the world.
Also, I didn't accomplish that with one pencil. :P

I've used:
- Charcoal 557 HB hard
- Prismacolor soft charcoal
- Derwent Charcoal Light
- Charcoal 557 2D Medium
- 7H pencil
- 8B pencil
- mechanical pencil
- 2B
- HB
- 3B
- 3H
- 2H
- 4H
- 4B
- 6B
- Soft eraser
- Kneaded eraser
- regular eraser
- blending stumps
- tissues.

Viola. Tools of the trade.

I also do need another eraser. It would've helped a lot. D:

I think we may have a descendant of Da'vinci here...

Also I like the fact that you've developed your own style! :D

I could. :P If I was to make a dragon, though, it'd probably be turned into a character. Dragons I've always imagined as a "Make Your Own", just because of being fantasy. That alone is enough to let my mind run wild. :P

I just saw a very powerful picture to sketch out and draw.. I might play around with manipulations at some point as well. I'd expect the next very soon, because my dad just got a picture of someone's dog to draw..
XD

I have old horse characters I want to turn into actual characters as well.. They may be joining the Animal RPG once I get ISS in order.

Oooh goody Komodos can kill horses, but anyways yeah Dragons may suit you, because you have your own style, and since we have no idea what dragons look like, or if they even exist, you can make them however.

You'd need my permission, don't get too carried away here.
xD

The characters are from when I rode horses which ended extremely bitter.. So, killing one would really need to be meaningful. As in, killing one just because you're bored would be quite useless, for example..

I plan to make their character sheets.

Expect photography very very very soon
I just sent out the Warranty and the Registration for my Nikon D90 and did what I needed to do to set it up.. IE, made the memory card compatible.

Soooo..
I'm gonna play around with it.
I'm protecting it with my life as well. :3
I'm SO excited..
I've taken a few pictures and they're so clear and crisp. It's unlike any photo I've ever seen. :3

I also might be getting another job to do.. My sister does agility trials with my dog and they sometimes need a photographer. The D90 happens to be semi professional and I know how to work it. I think I'm in love with this camera. :D (I'd be selling photographs of dogs. :3)

Here's a WIP.

My former global teacher got me wanting to draw again.. He loves my art. ^^

Although I did use a REF for this.

the best IMO are 078, 029-1 and 040-2. the others are good, but could be better. 029-1 is captivating. absolutely gorgeous. that is worth selling, or at the very least, worth making prints of. a background. the other two are really good. better than the rest, but still second to 029-1
