I should kill your brain more often if that's the result o.o

Smashing. Absolutely smashing.

Pity the glare couldn't be fixed, but it does little to detract from the image itself :>

He looks like a complete pansy.

Don't get me wrong, epic drawing and all, the shading, the clothes, the expression, jeez it's just, perfect.

Except, well, you've got this bad *** angry dragon, roaring at **** and being cool, then he turns into a girly elf. Smaug is writhing in his grave.

Any self respecting dragon would much sooner eat an elf than turn into one.

XD

Thank you for the compliments. :P You'd have to ask KP why he decided to pick an elf instead of, say, a chimera or something. :P

Cause nobody suspects the elf. The race with the most extreme stereotype for being a pansy are the elves. So you never really expect him to be a threat. Human, hey, plenty of badass, threatening humans. Could be werewolves, could be demons in disguise, could be anything. Dwarfs are horrifying in and of themselves. sturdiest humanoid race I can think of, aside from possibly Orcs, and then it depends on what universe you're going from [Tolkien's Orcs couldn't take a Dwarf on one on one, IMO]. But elves? They're stereotyped as squishy, sensitive nature lovers that wouldn't hurt a fly. Who would suspect one to randomly turn into a huge-ass, fire-breathing Dragon? :P

Oh, and before you mention Smaug, take a look at FRPG. He's in there :P

But his DIGNITY.
If you were paid 5 dollars to go to college every day wearing a dress, too much make up and an old wig, would you?
I mean, if any other dragon saw him in his alternate form, as an ELF.
They'd never let him live it down!

And a multi-million year old shape shifting entity goes around as an old hag :P

Besides, Elves typically have long lives. Thus, they're more likely to strive for knowledge than say, a Dwarf or human. They have more time to spend. Fits Seppy's style more than say, an axe-happy Dwarf [And I HAVE considered a Dwarf as a secondary form].

This.

THIS is why I should never be allowed to listen to Slipknot. XD Sh*t like this comes pouring out of my head.

I love the band and all, but their music gets me in a violent mood really, really quickly. :P

But seriously, this is pretty damn good. In fact, I think I'm in love with this.

The best pic I could get of the full drawing.

this drawing took me about two days to finish, from beginning to end. I said I was in the mood to draw and my boyfriend suggested I draw a dragon. Originally there was to be a person riding it, but we both decided it was best to scrap that.

I asked for creative liberty with the design and decided to try something I hadn't seen before on a dragon - white stripes surrounded by thick black bands. And where the coloring was lighter, regular black tigerstripes. I don't claim to be the first one to come up with this design, as I'm sure someone already had by the time I did. But I will say this is the first time I tried it myself - and I enjoy the look a lot. :3

I debated with myself for a while about whether or not to let someone take this design and use it for a character, but I think I'll keep it - because I'm a selfish ***** and I get attached to my designs (XD) - and at some point I may use it for something.

Here's a closeup shot of the detail on the head:
