A nice revamp of the rex we already know and love. He still remains anatomically correct, while giving off that fearsome appearance.... I like it.

He still retains that fear that is struck into the hearts of other dinosaurs on Isla Sorna.

I love it.

So, having bored myself with everything scaly, I decided to take a plunge into a new field; mammals. Sadly, seeing as I utterly suck at said field, I am forced to look for lineart on which to work. However, my saviour comes in the form of Freeska, who has one of the best lion linearts I've seen on dA.

Credit for the base lineart goes to Freeska
The only things I can take credit for entirely are the head, claws, mane and tail tip.The body shape and pose are her handywork.

And yes, the head has a noticeable TLK streak. But what can I say, I like their drawing style :P

Yes people, the eyes are HF's work. Beautifully done at that. Well, aside from the uber shinies. nothing a few clicks couldn't fix though :P

So, another break from the norm. My English Cultural and Literary History Professor [bloody hell that was a mouthful] asked us to sketch a portrait of Queen Elizabeth I. In exchange, we get a bonus point on the next exam.

Initial hand-in date was missed because I had an exam and couldn't spare the time. Now, next hand in is tomorrow morning. [or, considering it's now 3:30 AM where I am, today]. I saw the work of some of the guys, and I have to say, I was worried. So I pulled out the stops, and did what I could. As the enormous file name implies, she's lacking most of her usual jewellery and frills and other such decoration. I simply lacked the time to do it. Next time perhaps. So, keeping that in mind, and the standard of my usual work...What do you guys think?

Long live the queen! Long live the dead queen!

Knowing these shortcomings, your work is quite nice.

For now, it's a work in progress. Design changes may occur.

...I have a very, VERY bad feeling about this. I really do.

Grotesque, yet efficient and scary. I like this revamped design!

Great Nemmy redesign. The human arms sticking out of the clawed arm is indeed an interesting touch.

If you were participating in TRRPG, you'd find out why there are arms sticking out of it.

Is it me, or do you love making this guy more and more grotesque and frightening? :P

That's the entire point :P

I intend to keep adding more grotesque and disturbing details to him as I go. Just a matter of what comes to mind, how convincing I can draw it, and whether I have the space for it.

I give you the Marauder. Khuurava's new ship. Spent a night of brainstorming on the design with CS to come up with it [interspersed with work on a request for TT]. All in all, I think it's possibly my best non-organic work yet.

Oh look, a cool new ship. It would be a shame if it got hijacked :P

In all seriousness, it does look really cool. Nice and streamlines look to it. From the way the design is, it almos tliiks like a plane.

Interesting deciscion to have the wings angled forward rather than bacl, KP. Is there any particular jet you get design ideas from?
