The Kingpin wrote:it's not that big a deal, though. INI modification is the easiest kind [i'm somewhat of a specialist at it :P ]. if you could really do that, TTR, we'd be grateful. once you get one you think might work, send it to me or TT and we'll test it...

Funny...I don't remember agreeing to that...:P

I'm not exactly fond of JPOG, hence why I want to use something else for Crusher 2...

The worst glich I epeirienced in JPOG just shut off the power to my connecter cable, and did no damage. That is the worst. Dun think it would do to much damage.

But I'm still going to have to study up on FSMs AND get my amazingly awesome graphics card (on my PC) back before I can sucsessfully make it happen. Unless I could somehow incorperate the multi skins into it.

And yes I have made a sucsessful multi skin tml. (And a few unsucsessful ones. :P)

And a video made by TT.

But check here guys. So FSMS are set off by transitions (the question) and actions (the reply) right? So the tutorial I'm reading has a full list of transitions and actions. And one action is: Set Dead translate

My guess is this is the transformation from one skin to the other. The problem is, I don't know if the rex has an individual FSM for rampage. If it does, I could possibly make a new command so that when it's on rampage it changes color. I may be getting there guys. Think I should ask ERC about it?

Sweet.

Meanwhile, I'm looking through more stuff and found a transition: Is Territorial, perhaps I could make it so when he's territorial he has rage colors. Who knows the possibilities here. Theres also one called: Targethurtme if the target is another dinosaur mabye I could make that trigger a rampage. Thus triggering the rage colors. I think there is quite some endless possibilities here. : D

CS, you ruined the appearance of the brits with one sentence....

and TTR, keep in mind the transition time from one skin to another. we need to make it work fast so that the skin quickly changes to rage and, if possible, slowly returns to normal

KP: Well I don't know wich one changes the one, there is one that says startdecay wich could be it, and as well theres a part were it says stop decay wich could possibly be used to reverse it I don't know for sure though.

CS: I don't think Crusher would get angry over hunting. It's just his living after all.

KP(again): I think I'm going to try and skin Crusher normal, mabye even Crusher rampage (If I feel I can improve upon the original (unlikely)) So what colors are Crusher normal?

Lawl

Oh and there is a thing for modifying the speed, If I remember correctly Crusher is fairly fast, mabye I could make it so when he is running he shows his awesome speed.

his colours: the stripes and spots that are usually royal blue and orange are black and very dark grey, respectively. the rest of his back is a plain dark grey [lighter than the areas around the spots and stripes] and his underside is tan. his eyes are turqoise in this state, as well...

and yes, Crusher is somewhat faster than your average rex :P

if there isn't a way to return his skin to normal at the end of a fight, you might want to just scrap it, unless you're prepared to spend more time inserting a transition in all the other animations so that he changes colour to normal regardless of whether he's enraged in the first place...

I'm not sure... But I think the decay skin is used based on what state they are in. As in the dino is dead, the skin starts changeing. And unless you could speed up the change, the fight would be over before he has even changed

Well ERC says she doesn't know if reversal is possible. But that isn't a "It definately isn't possible." She said she'd try it out. I may try it out for myself.
