@ EE: Yowzas!!! That must've left a mark......

@ HF: If we are content on hurting ourselves, why didn't we go extinct like a million years ago?

The Kraken and Medusa are trully awe-inspiring when you see them. However, I didn't see it in 3-D, so I can't tell you if that's good..........

At dinner, my dad mentioned that when he was taking a flight to go to work, he saw part of Avatar and he said that he felt the movie was predictable.

How did he come to that conclusion viewing only a little part of it?

He said that he got to the part where the main part of the story kicked off and he stated that he felt the story was partially based off of Pocahontas.

Replace indians with aliens and spanish people with marines and yeah, Pocahontas right there. :P Still a good story.

I've taken a look at some of the reviews of the Clash of the Titans remake and it seems that the reason a large number of critics gave it negative reviews is because they felt that the movie focused more on special effects than the script.

Who cares? That's like saying they panned a Godzilla movie for not trying to develop the characters. Nobody goes to see a movie like Clash of the Titans to see an incredible story, but a descent one, and for MONSTERS.

Actually, I heard (from friends, not critics) that Avatar was the same deal, crapload of special effects, not the best plot.
