The Phoenix slams into Ridley from above, taking her by surprise...

*Nefarian rolls with the blow, easily getting back to his feet as he then launches a wave of Shadow flames at G4E.*

I blast my breath around, preventing the flames from getting too close, before I stop my beam, jump up into the air, and raise my blade up to slice down on Nefarian as I fall back down......

[Iceking]

*Nefarian rolls to the side at the last second before slashing at G4E's right side.*

[Godzilla Forever]

I growl from the slash before bringing Soul Calibur around and slicing it across Nefarian's chest...........

*Ridley grunts in shock from the bird's assault, the girl unsheathes her sword then swings it upward at the Phoenix, lobbing off several of it's feathers while trying to scare it off...*

*The priestess turns to face Ik and EE, my soul dissapearing mere moments before both of them exit from the portal.*

Cassandra: So, you've decided to come after me, a mere woman whom treats and protects the ill and the wounded? Fine... but why come after me?

*Slowly begins to back up from the confrontation, not wanting to get caught up in it...*

Mortum appears behind EE and IK.

"Welcome, one and all, to hell. Prepare for your destruction."

The death knight draws his blade, waiting for one of them to attack.......

*Behind Mortum, Halion appears behind the death knight, then taps him on the shoulder to get his attention.* Halion:So the death knight still seeks a fight. Well then, let's see how you fare against a Twilight dragon. *I look at Cassandra, no expression visible on my face.* We come because it is you who had the soul of your master.

Mortum whirls around, his broadsword glistening with dark energy.

"Ah, so you are one of IK's pets..... no matter, I shall find soem use fro your body parts........"

Mortum sends a wave of dark energy towards Halion, pushing his foe back a bit, before the knight rushes his foe........

[Iceking]

*Halion leaps over the dark energy wave, then sends a fireball from his hands at Mortum.*

Mortum bats the fireball away with his blade before slashing it across halion's form, skidding to a stop a few feet behind the being. Mortum whirls around, ready for a counter........

*Cassandra begins to smirk, before holding out both her hands, nothing in them at all.*

I possess nothing of the short. The closest I have to Gira's soul is my shikigami, which have souls of their own. I have heard of a beast that claims to have Gira's soul, which was divided into two parts...

*The priestess closes her eyes, a true hologram plays on the wall, showing the demon Gusenki from a previous E-war, the mind-reading demon holding a half of my soul in it's hands.*

Gusenki: Now, Gyaos of the underworld, hear my speach! I hold here the soul of the ruler ofp the distortion world! All we need is to amplify it's power, then we'll take down both TT and KP! Bowser was a fool for trusting such an incompetent Admin! Once we have taken him and the Webmaster out, we will rule with an iron fist!

*The hologram fades, Cassandra reopening her eyes.*

Cassandra: WHat you jsut saw wasn't a trick, nor a trap, nor a hallucination, but the real deal. It's fact, not fiction. If you want to kill Gira here, you'll have to retrieve the halve of Gira's soul from Gusenki, and the other half from Dusknoir, whom resides in the realm of the dead...

[Iceking]

*Halion side steps the swing, then uses his left foot sweep Mortus's right leg out from under him. I chuckle at Cassandra.* Don't try and fool us. TT destroyed Gusenki long ago and no trace of Gusenki's hide was seen since then.

Cassandra: I knew you wouldn't believe me...TT also sealed Craefr in the Search Icon, yet he was seen shortly befor the demon Yuna met her death... Gusenki came back from the dead with part of Gira's soul, and if you want to kill Gira, you'll need to kill Gusenki, whose plannnig on backstabing TT in the first place... and before you even ask, KP personally sealed Dusknoir away into the realm of the dead, wheras TT just killed Gusenki, hence explaining the latter's ressurection...

Mortum tumbles but quickly recovers. He jumps at halion and spins, creating a vortex of dark energy that begins to suck halion towards it like a black hole........

*Halion turns corpeal, then warps behind Mortum, turning solid again and swinging his sword at the death knight's back. I do not show any sign of believing Cassandra.* Gusenki could have just created an illusion of himself and that could be what you claim you saw.

The blade manages to cut into Mortum's thick armor. Snarling, Mortum whirls around and sends streaks of dark energy towards Halion, each one taking the shape of a sword before slicing and dicing at Halion faster than a being can blink.......

*Halion raises a shield around himself before he can be too badly cut, preventing himself from being terribly injured. Lowering the shield, he then sends a blast of twilight energy at Mortun.*

Cassandra: Gusenki does not know of my existance. His mind reading powers can only extend to a radious of 500 meters, based on what Gira told me. also, he can't create illusions of himself, due to most of his power being concentrated on brute strength, speed, and mind reading. I am fairly certain that's the real Gusenki...

*High up ontop of the Site Logo, the demon Gusenki holds onto half of my soul, numerous Gyaos following him, having pledged loyalty to the beast, the demon eyeing his minions with uncertainty.*

Gusenki: (Damnit. I can't tell what they're thinking. All I hear is their thirsting for blood... wait a moment, perhaps I can satisfy their want for blood, then their minds will be readable...)

*The demon leaps off of the Logo, then heads off toward where Ik's units were last seen, those being the closest prey he can pick up...*

Mortum sends a wave of dark energy to disrupt the beam before leaping over the fragments that were not destroyed. He lands near Halion before swinging his blade in a wild arc.......
