Deep in my fortress, a growling sound is heard, followed by heavy footsteps..........

*Halion leaps over the wave sent at him, sending a blast of Twilight energy at Mortum while in midair before landing.*

Mortum snarls from the energy, which sends him flying back. He gets to his feet and unloads his dub machine gun into halion...

*More Metroids fly out of hoels in the walls and ceiling, several Fission Metroids, immune to th eicy aura, fly out from behind IK and EE before latching onto them, covering their faces, allowing several, ice-resistant Meteroids to fly at the two users and latch onto them, the ground continues to quake as the massive thing that's causing the Meteroids to appear looms closer...*

The beast's footsteps begin to come closer.....

The giant haze of black mist grows larger, cover almost half the area they're in, preventing the metroids from seeing or finding me, the haze so thick they are unable to see a foot in front of them without it...

*The Meteroids, relying on heat to sense where IK and EE are, still latch onto them and begin to suck then dry, the Meteroids not needing to use sight to find their prey, unlike their more advanced forms...*

[Iceking]

*A pulse of shadow flame engulfs the fission Metroids the momment they get within 3 feet of me. The metroids are killed by the flames, but revived under my command the momment they die. The fission metroids start to attack their breatheren, sucking them dry.*

*The normal Metroids fly all over the place, befor epullnig up as the undead ones near, the wall behind where the normal one's went up glows before being blasted apart, a massive stream of fire engulfs the undeads, incinerating them, a massive, green, crocodilian beast crawls into the room, before raising her head upward and roaring into the sky, two Metroids pop out of the Queen's back, before flying right at EE, the Queen's mouth now closed tightly...*

[Evil Eye]

The metroids are engulfed in a wall of darkfire as they approach me, turning against the Queen, and flying straight back, as undead...

*In a flash of light, Gira disappeared in front of his allies' eyes, only to reappear in a large arena deep underground, the ceiling 50 feet high. My voice echoes over a hidden loudspeaker* Why hello there, Gira! How have you been?

The thundering footsteps are now upon IK, EE, and the metroids, as a large, warped, heavily armored beast of undescribable horror enters the room. Where its eyes should be, there are plasma cannons. Where its limbs should be, there are large robotic claws that are armed with lasers. Hundreds of tentacles are writhing from its back, while a large scorpion esque tail arches over its bony back. Its armored form convulses violently before roaring in pain. In its pained rage, it begins to fire off its weapons upon anything in its path.........

*Cassandra and Tiffany look around, trying to locate where I've gone, but unable to find me.*

Cassandra: Tis fate...

Tiffany: or a user...

*Looks around, taking not eof my surroundings...*

Um... I'm doing alright? School gets in the way of this place alot, but I post here whenever I can... Nice arena you got here...

*The Queen leaps to the side, the explosions from the creature's weapons consume the undead Metroids, The Queen howls in rage at IK and EE, before spewing out several fireballs at the two of them...*

Why thank you! I just finished it, and I need a guinea pig to test it out. Willing or otherwise...

*Lights click on all over the darkened arena, revealing a number of conveniently-placed chest-high walls, among other things, as well as hatches all along the edge of the arena*

So, how about it?

*Side steps the fireballs, most of the undead metroids being commanded by me, having evaded the earlier attack, scattering to evade the wildly fired shots.*

The warped beast lets out another pained growl before taking a step forward, causing the earth to tremble, and swinging its forlimbs wildly, which sprout large blades along the claws as it begins to hack apart metroid, undead metroid, and anything else in its way........

[Evil Eye]

I mentally give IK a warning, my voice sounding in his head.

EE: What are we to do about this thing? Is it worth the trouble fighting, now that DM has Gira?

[Iceking]

*The undead metroids fly back, greatly reducing their casualties. I glance at EE.* We will take out this beast. I will have Onyxia deal with the metroid queen.

[Evil Eye]

EE: Very well.

I leap out of the black haze, flying up and forward at high speeds, in the general direction of the futuristic Rancor.

*I follow EE's lead, leaping in the direction that the sounds of the armored creature are coming from.*
