I rip up another hunk of earth and chuck it at the Denizens before unleashing another blast of atomic breath, steadily moving closer (again) to the denizens to quench my bloodlust...

*I reappear a moment later, without the glitched armor. I begin firing on the denizens again, along with combat teams of rangers, marines, SEALs, green berets, armored forces, aerial forces and the regular U.S. army in one...*

*Shinobu gently descends to the ground in her parachute, an AK-47 in her hands as she begins to blast away at numerous Denizens...*

*Meanwhile, high up in the sky, the real Genesect is still flying around, trying to search and destroy TT...*

*UR's new troops are slaughtered far more easily than even the Covenant troops, having no way to defend against the Denizens' weapons beyond taking cover, a feat that is impossible as the shadowy creatures attack from all sides. They continue attacking Shinobu and G4E as well, their success rate much higher in fighting NPCs*

*The tanks and fighters hold up well against the denizens and "Ride of the Valkyres" plays in the background, as squadrons of helicopters fly in from the distance over some trees towards the battleground...*

Seeing that a direct assault is not working, I morph into Baragon, my armor changing as well (with extendable energy daggers on my wrists replacing the energy sword in this form) and I dig into the ground, attempting to sink the Denizens back to where they belong: in a hole.

*Shinobu, trying to dodge the shots from the Denizens, simply detaches from her parahute, twin bat-like wings unfold from her back, allowing her sly fly over the Denizens, raining down shots on them...*

*Reappears ontop of a nearby cliff, before falling over, catching my breath...*

Those jerks... they refuse to even let me HURT them...

*The helicopters are shot down by the omnipresent Denizens before they even reach UR, their rotors being easy targets for the raygun blasts. The tanks shrug off the gunfire and the fighters are too fast, but both groups only serve to cause more collateral damage, and their weapons still do nothing but kill allied infantry and PCs, and only scatter clusters of Denizens temporarily. The Denizens flee from G4E, escaping his pit trap before he can complete it. Shinobu is an easy target, her wings quickly perforated with raygun bolts and sending her crashing to the ground*

*The infantry keep out of the zones where the planes and tanks fired on the denizens, protecting the ground vehicles as best as they could. I transform into my regular human form, but in an army ranger's uniform, wearing a helmet and armored vest, along with pouches and a back-pack which hold lots of things, including ammo, weapons, and other supplies. I currently wield an AK-47, AA-12, and a throwing knife, the gun first mentioned being fired at the denizens almost instantly...*

I use the fleeing Denizens to my advantage, quickly burrowing up to one, jumping out, and stabbing at its face with my energy daggers....

*G4E's large size compared to the Denizens makes him miss his attack completely, sprawling to the ground, where dozens of the shadow creatures crawl over him, zapping him repeatedly. The Denizens avoid the areas where the vehicles are, pushing on the infantry. The vehicles can't fire on the Denizens without risking collateral damage, and the infantry stand no chance against the implacable creatures' rayguns, swiftly being disintegrated*

*The soldiers use the tanks and APCs for cover, which use their mounted MGs against the denizens rather than main guns for that moment...*

OOC: I'm only 10 feet tall in each of my forms, DM, so as to keep things fair. I still have great physical strength, though.

Only a few of the denizens can hit me, due to me not being as big as assumed. I stay in my baragon form and dig into the ground, shaking violently as to throw the annoying critters off of me....

OOC: And Denizens are only a foot tall. You're still big to them.

*The Denizens scatter again, only to resume the bombardment from a distance*

*The Denizens attack UR's troops from all sides, their firepower slowly overwhelming even tank armor, while they are merely temporarily scattered by the MGs*

*Shinobu, sensing the rayguns firing at her, folds up her wings, her form swooping down like a missle, allowing her to dodge the Denizen shots with ease, before unfolding her wings once more, swerving between the shots, while firing more and more bullets at the Denizens...*

I dig around under the ground again, sensing the Denizen's vibrations from under the earth, and attempting my sinking maneuver again...

*It's nearly impossible for Shinobu to dodge the sheer number of laser blasts aimed up at her, and one finally hits her right wing, sending her into an uncontrollable spiral towards the ground. The Denizens again scatter from G4E's burrowing, ready to zap him again when he emerges*

I take my time digging this time, feeling the sudden burst of activity where the Denizens once were, waiting until Gira and UR provide a sufficient distraction so I can eliminate as many as possible....
