*Shinobu plummets downward, into a nearby river. She dives down as far as she can upon entering into the river, before swimming into an underwater cave, away from the Denizens...*

*As I rest on the cliffwall, I hear something behind me. I turn around, noticing a Sableye stumbling out of the undergrowth...*

Sableye: Damn flood... where they come from? ... This stupid Denizen's fault, me sure of that! Was bad idea to give blueprints to freaking deni- OH CRAP!

*The Sableye tries to run away, only for me to leap upon him, pinning him to the ground with an elbow slam.*

No wonder this whole problem smelled so damn fishy... It had Sableye written all over it... Now tell me, is Dusknoir behind this whole thing? If he is...

*A flood infection form pounces on the sableye a moment later, before going after it's throat with it's penatrators and driving one in a moment later, tapping it's spinal cord a few seconds later. The form begins to infect the sableye, as a voice comes from the body, being that of a gravemind*

Gravemind: He was involved in this, I know of this for a fact! Help me, and I'll help you figure out where he is at!

OOC: Last I checked, the Gravemind was imprisoned in my fortress a long while ago, UR.

*The Denizens' assault doesn't waver, the little creatures tirelessly pounding their foes again and again, showing no signs of fatigue*

*I continuously fire on the denizens, before telling the rangers to cover me as I run backwards, jump over some sandbags, fire back at a couple of denizens, and dive into the river, searching for Shinobu...*

*The Sableye, managing to wrench free of Gravemind's control very briefly, begins to cough up blood...*

Sableye: Dusknoir no part of this... Dusknoir gathering souls for Persephone... We Sableye... do... this... for Denizens...

*Clocks the Sableye outside the head, nearly knocking the thing unconcious...*

Why is it that I don't believe a damn word you say, you diamond-eyed goblin? Now, where is Dusknoir? (Persephone? Didn't Mara say that name? What's going on here?)

*A hand waves out from an underwater cave toward UR, bekoning him to come in...*

I make a miniature version of my hole right under a couple of the Denizens firing at Gira and UR, sending them plummeting into the depths. I sneakily dig deeper again, hoping I didn't scare away too many of the things...

*The head of the now fully-controlled sableye rises from the ground after a moment, staring into Gira's eyes*

Gravemind: He is in... a lair here in the underworld, very close to mine itself. I will help you take him down and take him out for what he has done, but you will need to come here first. *controlling two tank forms now which rise from the ground and speak in unision, the combat form diving into the left tunnel* Come, follow us.

*I look at the hand whilst losing air quickly, before diving downards and following it. The rangers keep firing on the denizens, taking a casualty which is quickly replaced by another soldier near their position...*

*The Rangers are gunned down one by one, alongside the rest of UR's newly-arrived army*

*The Denizens who fall into the hole use the darkness to reappear back on the surface, ignoring G4E's vain attempt to stall them*

*A ton of bombs come down from fast moving bombers, the bombs filled with napalm, shrapnel and other deadly things that bombs could use, minus radiation. They hit the ground a moment later as the remants of my forces take cover or run from the battle...*

*The Denizens scatter at the same time as UR's forces, pursuing them away from the blast zone. A small area of FRPG is leveled in the process, and the bombing run catches a small area of Denizen activity, but it does little more than slow them down for a bit. However, as the area they were battling in is now a bombed-out wasteland, the Denizens in the area merely move on to continue the destruction*

*Switch turns to the three of us, covering the distance in a few steps and crouching to hear DM's plan. Beryl blinks in confusion, both at the dragon and the giant Lili, but says nothing.*

Derek: Alright then. Let me just export it to the bio-mixer...

*Taps a few buttons and the levels of chemicals in various cylinders and lines change, some emptying completely to be replaced by a different substance.*

Derek: Once everyone's out of the force field, you're good to go...

*He plucks a handset off the wall, his voice projecting into the hangar over its internal loudspeakers.*

Derek: Clear the circle guys. There's no need to close the ring this time, but I do need you all clear of the chemical cloud. Wouldn't want your DNA contaminated.

*Sy picks up her pace, trotting over to the break in the energy wall and beckoning the Aero-compies to follow.*

*Looks at the Flood-controlled Sableye in disbelief, before regrettably following him. Unaware of two other Sbaleye watching me from high up in a tree, away from the Denizens and Flood.*

Sableye 1: Poor fool no take real answer, did he?

Sableye 2: Comrade tell truth! Dusknoir helping off Persephone. Stupid tapeworm no listen to him, but to squshy aliens!

Sableye 1: Hold it! Me got good plan!

*Shinobu, seeing UR follow her, swims up through the underwater cave, before reaching the top of the underwater cave, the place, surprisingly, being the same place that Tiffany's first party was held here, SHinobu hauls herself onto land...*

*Behind Switchy's group, a single Sableye, having been teleported to the area by Persephone, watches what is going on stealthily, relaying information back to the Demon Lord...*

*The two aero-compies start to move out of the circle at a slightly fast pace, while the four compies wait. I push on up to the surface of the water quickly, before emerging from it, breathing heavily. The two tank forms, combat form and Gira fall through a deep tunnel, which leads to a portal that takes them to the gravemind's lair*

*Breathing heavily, gasping for air* Hey... you ok?

I soon dig out of the ground, reverting to my Godzilla form.

"Damn, what can kill those b*stards?!"

*As mentioned before, Jack's lair is impenetrable to any form of unauthorized teleportation, magical or otherwise. Not even Persephone is powerful enough to send a Sableye in without Jack knowing about it, and he has full control over who enters and leaves. Therefore, no Sableye is present*

Alright, Pyro. You and I need to get to that command center, stop the countdown, and catch Jack. We can't do much with that thing in the way, though. That's where you two come in. *I point at Switchblade and Beryl* I was reading up on Alpha Ridley in the transmogrifier's databanks. There is only one way to bypass his Phazite armor: high-frequency waves. Fortunately, his mouth ray uses just that in its operation. Switchblade, if you can redirect his beam using your crest, you might stand a chance in a fight. However, we simply don't have the firepower to kill him for good. So, Beryl, I'll need you to stay here and wait by the transmogrifier. If Switch here can knock Alpha Ridley under the dome, all you have to do is activate the machine. Don't worry, I have it primed to turn the big b***ard into the little b***ard he once was. All you have to do is hit the "GO" button. Pretty user-friendly, fortunately. Any questions?

*Suddenly, a powerful barrier forms around all of FRPG, the barrier begins to slowly close up, unaffeting anything but the Denizens, causing them to all be coralled into one place, the barrier also preventing them from teleporting or using the shadows to escape. The Sableye up in the tree stare in astonishment, wondering what on earth could have caused this... only to se sent to the ground, two light arrows having struck the tree they were in, causing the tree to explode...*

Sableye: GYAAAAH!

Shinobu: I'm perfectly alright... This place should be safe from those little gremlins...

*The Denizens don't seem in the least bit perturbed by the barrier, continuing about their duties, while the rest of them, spread throughout other areas of the site, as well as the world itself, do the same thing*

Good... yeah, this place should keep them out quite well.

*I climb up onto land before sitting down and picking up a few pebbles, tossing on in the air and catching it multiple times. A few flood infection forms swarm over the sableye, not giving the stunned beings a chance as they shred their way through the beings to infect them. The gravemind looks at Gira from several meters in the air*

Gravemind: I will aid you, but only under one request, you free me from this vile land afterwards...
