My dad told me last week that he killed a Rattlesnake while out in Idahoe. He said he tried to do it a favor and put it in the grass, but changed his mind when he saw it was a Western diamond back.

KP:I'm sorry for your loss.

I feel your sorrow, KP... My Art Teacher's cat died only a few hours ago... she was 20 years old, which is beyond the norm for a house cat...

thanks for the kind words guys....the whole situation with Emerald has really pissed me off lately....we don't even have a bloody vet for reptiles here....only birds, cats, dogs and horses/other large mammalian livestock...it makes me want to throw away my plan of being a petroleum engineer and switch to Vetrinary medicine in rare animal types....only problem there is that with the rarity of said pet types here, i'd probably be bankrupt within a month of finishing university...nowhere to go... :x

@IK: reptile Euthanisation can be very difficult. unlike mammals, beheading them doesn't kill them. reptiles may endure up to 6 hours of torture after they're beheaded, before they die. something to do with their circulatory system IIRC...so the only solution is to outright crush the skull, or freeze it to death...kill it by stopping it's metabolism....at least, that's what reptile experts have said...

What was affecting your iguana's health prior to her death?

Regarding the snake:My dad said that he crushed it's head to kill it, which has made me grateful he at least ended it's life quickly.

well of the things i could see, skin issues were one of her biggest problems. i'm still completely puzzled as to why she died though....it was very random....

I'm sorry about your Iguana KP. :(
I hope you feel better. By the way I'm curious; why is a new random topic up?

NO GOD DAMMIT

ahem

I was doing push ups just now, and my dog was lying down everytime I lowered myself, as if he was immitating me, and when I fell down past 30 (last in a set of three) he fell down too, rolled over and played dead. This is funnier, as I read IK's above post about his dog. Pets own

HG: Ya it was nearly 500 pages, so it was time to detonate it T_T

Same with RPGT E-war, but that didn't really have a set page number, we just decided to kill two birds with one stone <.<
