I'm currently finishing up with the G-rank elder quests. I'm getting ready to take on the Kirin in the old jungle with my gold falchion.

IIRC, Lightning based weapons are the most effective against Tiggy. much more-so than fire. regardless of rank, my main Anti-Tiggy weapon is the TDS and the rest of the Devil Slicer family [on my way to making the Wailing Cleaver now. gonna take a while to get the parts though....still in HR6....]

been having a weekly MH marathon with 3 of my friends. every weekend we get together and blow through a few quests together. my main Hunting Buddy and i've been helping the most recent two to climb through the ranks. we descended the heights of the Hunter Ranks to help them with an Urgent Quest against Ashen Lao :P ...once we hit HR6 i'm probably gonna hault all our Co-Op work and tell them to work through the Elder Ranks until they're finished....seeing as the Guild Quests aren't giving them enough materials to properly upgrade considering we only do any quest once...once everyone's got decent gear....we take the G-rank quests by storm...

...Sometimes, I wish I could understand MH language....

In other news, it has been pouring rain up here in Washington State for quite some time, right Beowulf?

Just reached HR7 and realized just how tough purple Hermitaur is. I have heard that the Vespoid Queen hunting horn is a good weapon to use on him for those who are at HR7, though.

He is weak to ice rather then thunder.

And he likes to spam the sh*t-fit backwards charge T_T

Killed Purple Hermintaur an hour ago and tried taking Green Cogalala on with the second to last form of the vespoid hunting horn, only to find it not very effective on him.

Cool. I've got two questions for you regarding MHFU. 1st:What's a good weapon and armor set that you can reccomend for doing the HR7 Naruga quest. 2:What's a good weapon that can be obtained at HR8 and would work well in the quest in which a normal and red Shogun must be fought?
