The smaller beast avoided the attack from the filly, but got cut in his flank a couple of times and kept up with draining the larger unicorn's blood supply, beginning to pull him to the ground. The other one soon caught up with the smaller animal trying to help it's bigger comrade, sending a mocking attack at her to get her away from his packmate...

Khorne continues along, before they are soon upon the edge of the village. "Stay alert, Hraesvelgr- there may be other things hopnig for a free meal."

Sarah keeps eating....

Bubba wakes up his brothers, and they soon begin gathering their things. The skeleton in the lobby, however, was no where to be found...

Serenity veered away and went on to attack the smaller beast. She turned around and kicked up with her powerful hind legs, managing to land a powerful, hard kick to the creature's face. She hoped that would sustain the smaller beast for now while she charged at the larger beast. She lowered her horn and aimed for the beast's stomach. She should cause the animal to have a either a deep wound or a cut.

Revion was grateful that Serenity was here, and attacking. He was amazed at her determination to save him. He could feel himself becoming weaker, little by little from the larger animal. He still tried to stab the animal with his horn. Unfortunately, his attacks were beginning to slow down.

The moment Shezz sees that the skeleton is missing, he scratches behind his ear, wondering what had happened to it.

Ikargu soon finished his meal, before walking out onto the cliffhanger just outside of his and Sarah's current home, yawning again.

Hraesvelgr nodded and kept her guard up, still watching cautiously to make sure nothing would try to attack her or Khorne.

The smaller Heurgah was sent off it's victim for a moment, but soon transformed as well and continued with it's attack. The larger, more powerful one moved away from the attack, before sinking it's claws into the filly's back...

Lubba notices the missing skeleton too. "Uhh.... maybe da place really is haunted?" "Silly do be not," Kubba says. "Ghosts real they are not." "well, somethin' happened to it," Bubba says.

Sarah chews on the fish before asking her surrogate father, "Have you ever wondered the meaning of life?"

Khorne comes across a mangled norseman corpse and begisn to eat it.....

"On my usual freetime I do, Sarah. So uh, would you like to learn how to swim now?" Ikargu responded after a moment, not knowing at all what he could do for his daughter.

Shezz replied, "me think we leave fast as possible: place be haunted it may be."

Hraesvelgr also noticed a corpse and ate it moments later, ignoring the rest once she was finished...

The boom of thunder echoed overhead as a long, rattling roar tore out through the skies, almost mistaken for thunder were it not for the length of it. a fireball slammed into the side of the smaller Huergah, blowing it out of the air in mid-attack, leaving it tumbling away in a smoking heap, the source of the fireball; a large, serpentine, thunderstorm-grey dragon...Arashi...

Andruil stopped a few feet away, eying the two resting. smiling, he decided to let them be. In such troubled times, they deserved to enjoy what bliss they could get. he turned towards the wreckage of the inn, deciding to salvage his heirlooms from within. he would never forgive himself for letting them be lost to a rampaging demon's clumsiness...

Septimus leapt into the air, soon soaring over the edge of the waterfall, banking and tightening his wings, shooting down the side of the waterfall at full speed, outrunning the water itself as he closed in on the surface, spreading his wings as he pulled himself upwards at the last minute, a massive gust of wind blowing out beneath the Dragon's wings from the sudden stop, causing large ripples to form, spreading out towards he edges of the river, the Dragon lowering his claws as he flew along the water's surface, the Dragon seeing the fluttering of the water's surface indicating fish, Septimus lowering and curving his claws forward, hooking three fish on his talons as he pulled upwards, looking at his catch. two of them were relatively small and weren't worth taking back. but with their wounds they weren't going to survive being put back. the Dragon plucked the two from his claws and swallowed them head first, while keeping hold of the third fish, which was decently sized. the Dragon went round for another pass along the crystalline river, lowering his free hand once more, feeling a sudden pull as something large got caught on his claws, the Dragon pulling up powerfully, seeing that he had caught a particularly large fish. satisfied, the Dragon ascended once more, flying up towards the waterfall's edge, spreading his wings widely and letting updrafts do the rest, teetering right and left slightly as he adjusted to varying drafts pushing him upwards, before beating his wings to launch himself forward, heading towards where Tetto'eko waited...

Serenity bucked as the larger one sunk its claws into her back. She snorted, and rolled over, hard, causing the beast to lose its grip on her. Once she got back up, she charged at the larger creature and kicked it in the face with her powerful hooves. There was much force driven in her kick.

Revion was somewhat surprised as a fireball hit the smaller Heurgah, and was relieved that the larger one was off him for a moment. He struggled to get on to his hooves, but slowly managed. Once he saw that Serenity was busy attacking the larger beast, the black stallion limped his way over to try to help her.

"Alright, your all set" Syria said as she put a medim sized, one-strap bag on the kitchen table downstairs. It was made out of a light brown cloth like material with two flap-closed pockets on the side. Inside was a map of the stretch of forest behind the town, many notes and scribbles made on the sides and less detailed spots on the cream colored parchment. There was also a compass and a small canteen inside, cylindrical in shape and covered with some animal hide. It was jet black, and Desrium had recognized it as the pelt of a "Bird-Horse". The people of Daaven knew them as Hawkorskis. Syria was explaining the task she had for Desrium as she packed the bag, not noticing the glowing in the stranger's eyes when he saw the unfamiliar objects she put inside. All the while, he had been eating the breakfast the inn keeper had set made him, fluffy white slices of bread covered with some sort of amber colored jam. There was still bits of fruit inside, which Desrium didnt mind at all. He expected to know what exactly he was eating, but there was no rappid influx of knowledge. He assumed it only worked with sight. Aside from his own breakfast, there were other plates set up along the retangular table. Some of the guests would come down to eat, others preffered to eat in their rooms. "So, are you ready?" Syria asked as she looked up at Desrium, who had finished eating the last slice of bread. She wondered how exactly, could the helmet be fitted to Desrium's head, to allow the lower "jaw" to move as he spoke and chewed. "Its as if the armor was supposed to stay on him at all times...no Syria, thats ridiculous!" She thought, though she couldnt shake the feeling that the being before her wasnt human. "I am" Desrium replied, grabbing a nearby cloth to rid his hands of bread crumbs. Syria told him about how she was running low on vegetable feed for the Frondfoot. In the wild, the lizards are particularly fond of a type of plant. It was a large bush with long branches radiating out in all directions, and the end of the frond leaves were purple in color. Evidently, thats why the lizards were called Frondfoots. So Desrium had to follow the map to a place in the forest where the plant is known to grow in abundance. It was also a place where wild Frondfoots called home, but he was told the lizards would not harm him as long as he didnt provoke them. If he got too close, they would warn him by staring him down and extending their frills. The major danger came from the other predators of the forest, but Desrium wasnt worried about them. Last time he was in the forest, he passed through without much difficulty, save for his breif encounter with the brutish creature. If he was attacked, he was fully capable of defending himself. "Be safe then, and try not to be caught out in the rain" Syria said as Desrium took the bag. He slung its strap over a shoulder. "Ill be back soon enough" Desrium said as he turned around and headed for the door. He pushed it open and walked across the porch, stepping onto the cobblestone path and heading down it after. He was heading for the rear entrance of Daaven. From there, it would be a short trip to the forest. As he went, he slipped his room key off of the shoulder spike and put it into one of the bag's pockets. It would be much safer in there.

Cornelious was still slightly concerned that most of his words fell on deaf ears, did the Emperor not realize when he said he had to run from his own brothers in the church? In any case he was happy to be back and told the wildmen that they were free to choose their own practice, though wildman practice was mainly that of giving their respects to the earth from which all life comes from. Cornelious doubted that the wildmen's own religion would be a concern but their lack of knowledge in Germainian customs might. He told his fellow outcasts what was needed of them and that when the time came they would help the germainians to reclaim their lands again. The wildmen grew axtious and concerned, how many times had their leaders promised something and instead brought only pain and death. They only grumbled agoungst themselves but if they would be allowed back into the forests and wild places then there would be no conflict with the germainians. Cornelious then turned to Trajan, "Emperor Trajan I don't believe you truly know the extent of your northern adversary, if you would allow it I would like to become a warrior priest in your service and that of the Pope so that I can further serve and make amends, as well as help provide council for more of these instances. You see, in the North there is a major difference between Clans and Tribes. Clans are large, powerful and have multiple settlements. Tribes on the other hand are small wandering nomads attempting to survive in the hostile and barren North, the tribes must either scrifice their freedom and soldiers in return for a patch of land to live on, or be attacked by every clan and tribe until their people are scattered like leaves in the wind. Also their practices and religion have hidden meanings for instance. The idol that was placed in the church of Susano was a religous figure of high importance. It is best if you and the pope see it with my aid to tell you what it means."
"We all go about our daily lives, waiting for the next big thing, the next cool trend, even the smallest bits of info on anything happening, but what we're really waiting for... is for something interesting to happen to us, thats what draws us to the rich and famous... we want to be like them... I don't, I'm fine with who I am... and you should be too" - RT3

The two Lethrblaka were high above in the sky, using rising thermals to keep themselves aloft and out of sight. Hidden amongst the clouds, one of the beasts would periodically emerge to assess the situation below, their hawklike eyes capable of seeing much further than the assassins in the village, who would only see a momentary dot if they looked hard enough, before they vanished back into the cloud cover. The chances of being spotted were very small...

Tetto'eko had sat back down, cross-legged, eyes closed, as he continued his meditations, waiting for Septimus to return...

a large, nearly man-sized fish landed in Tetto's lap as Septimus passed over him, the Dragon banking and turning around, landing softly by the skink, setting his fish down...

After several minutes of digging, he found the remnants of his room. by luck, the room had collapsed like a card-deck, though was balanced fairly well, the pieces of the roof held up by the bed and table. Andruil slipped into the wreckage, reaching for the spots where he had placed his belongings. the equipment was placed in rather sturdy positions, so they were not crushed with the room's collapse, the knight managing to pull them free with a little effort, before shuffling back out of the wreckage. Furax stood several feet away, nibbling on a bale of hay lying by one of the wrecked buildings. Shiryaz had his head pointed towards the sky, intently focused on something...

Tetto'eko didn't flinch as the fish landed for a moment. After a few seconds, his eyes flicked open and he grinned. "Ah, fish! Again! How delightful!" Standing up, he placed the fish on the ground and began charging electricity to cook the dead creature...

"Let ussss return to Zazikel," the male Ra'zac hissed. "It isss time to put the plan into motion..." The Ra'zac, mounted on their Lethrblaka, wheeled away, flying off into the distance, still hidden in the cloud cover...

Arsenic stirred, opening eyes that were a soft blue-gray and taking a moment to just look at the woman beside him. Aviva's words rang in his mind again. She fancies you. He knew he'd never be able to ask Vix if she did or not. If she didn't, she might think he liked her; and if she did, what was he meant to say to her? How could he tell her that the most she would ever be to him was a sister, without breaking her heart? He felt a painful tightening sensation in his chest, and for a few moments had trouble breathing normally. Swallowing hard, he gave her a gentle shake. 'Vix. Time to wake up,' he murmured. She shifted, eyelids fluttering, gave a quiet sigh, and opened her eyes. "Arsenic?" Her voice was a tired murmur. "How long have we been out for?" 'I'm not sure. But we need to get up. There's more to be done.' He was sore all over and could feel a headache coming on - a result of overtaxing his mind. He knew Vix must be doubly so, because he could see that dark bruises had formed where she'd been struck, and several bandages on her arms where they'd been badly scraped by her falls. But he knew she wouldn't sit back and watch the others do the work, and neither would he.

Shezz, now ready with his supplies, including the massive backpack that would slow him down, opened the door and crawled out on all fours.

Ikargu lowered his form for Sarah to get up onto him, letting out a slight snarl as he spotted something in the distance.

The other Huergah made a whinning noise as it's friend was killed, but the one that had become the new leader the day before soon came to the area, flying up after the dragon. The other, injured one slowly got to it's feet, before roaring at the smaller unicorn and charging at the larger one just to finish it's friend's work...

Arashi shot past the scene of the fight, his vast, taloned wings beating powerfully, the Dragon arcing round, facing the new Leader, a booming roar tearing out as an electric bolt shot forward from the Dragon's palm, arcing through the air and slamming into the leader...

Septimus clawed a hole into the ground nearby, clawing some dead leaves and other dry materials he could use as kindling, before pulling out the spit, setting it up over the hole and skewering one of the fish, clawing it's stomach and gutting it, before placing it on the spit. The dragon then took a breath, sending a thin stream of flames into the hole, igniting the kindling, letting the fish cook, the Dragon reaching into one of his travelling satchels and pulling out a book about Asterian dragon species...

Andruil walked over to the newly conscious Arsenic and Vix, smiling. "Help's on the way. they should be here soon" he said...

The gate doors parted, armored members of the Council pulling on ropes pried the giant wooden doors open. As they moved, the scene beyond Daaven came into view. The expanse of green in the distance waited for him to leave. Desrium looked into the bag, pulling out the map after and unrolling it. He held the parchment infront of his face, following the many inscriptions. Some were made with blue ink, others black, and a few were red, circling key areas apparently. The Frondfoot lizards were quite some distance into the forest, due northeast. He rolled up the map and slipped it back into the bag before taking out the compass. It was round and was made of brass, like a pocket watch. Desrium unfolded the brass casing and opened the compass, revealing a black display, a red needle and golden letters representing north, south, east and west. He turned a brass ring around the display so that the little notch in it was inbetween north and east and then oriented himself in a way that made the red needle line up with the notch. Assured he was facing northeast, he looked up from the compass. He was facing the right side of the valley. His destination was some distance beyond that. It made a good landmark, where the grass ended, the rock wall began. With that, Desrium slipped the chain that trailed off from the south end of the compass around his neck and flipped the brass casing shut. He then headed off, walking towards the forest.
