Riva looked down at her skin and back up to Andruil. "I'm a Selkie," she said. She started to unwind the seal skin. She had another otter skin cloth around her waist as well. "This skin turns me into a seal, all my kind have their own skins," she said. "Without it, I am powerless." She stretched it out before them, the white fur of the seal was very striking when it caught the sun just right. "Really?" she asked Arsenic. "I've never heard of any other kind that's as shy as mine."

"Ill walk" Desrium said bluntly in his icy tone, not even sparing a sideways glance at Septimus. Or perhaps he did; because he didnt have any pupils, where the armored being was looking was a mystery. His gaze seemed to be locked up ahead, staring off into the woods. He pushed aside a few bushes as he walked, which became more frequent as the vegetation thickened.

The elf let the corner of his mouth turn up in a half-smile. 'Not many have heard of the ones I'm talking about. They're a type of dragon, once hunted for their skins. In fact, that's the reason they went into hiding. I was very lucky to have met one of them.'

[The Kingpin]

"suit yourself" grunted Septimus with a shrug, straightening, understanding the being's refusal. he continued walking, for now. he would likely return to the skies soon, however. the whole point of parting ways with Tetto'eko was to give him freedom to fly where he wished. he would not lose that privilege if he had a choice. for now, he eyed the armoured being, considering the facts he had recently learned. "Do you have any knowledge of who or what you were prior to the incident at sea?" he inquired lowly...

"Hmm.....Selkie...interesting" responded Andruil as he thought about it. that explains the lack of armour he thought. they'd need to be able to swim...

Riva a naturally curious creature blinked her big eyes a few times in interest. "Wow," she said in awe. Riva gripped the flippers of her skin and wound it back around her waist again. Once the head rested against her hip again she was satisfied. She had to admit she hadn't seen a lot of things outside of her village and these people were very interesting up close. "And what are all of you?" she asked. "Forgive me, I've never seen other creatures outside of my home." She walked closer to Andruil and stared at him intently. Then went to Arsenic whose eyes kept changing and she tilted her head curiously.

"Aside from my name, no" Desrium replied plainly, coming to a thicket of plants that he pried apart with a loud rustling, the snapping of tightly packed and interlaced branches also audible. The forest was quickly becoming difficult to maneuver through. Small, speedy birds shot by overhead, almost tauntingly. Desrium turned his gaze upwards and followed them as they weaved in and out of the tree tops and in between the burly branches.

Septimus followed, rearing up on his hind legs whenever things got too thick, pushing aside thick branches with his arms, making a path for himself. "And the name doesn't give you any memories? how you know it's your name? when it's been used in the past?" rumbled the Dragon...


"I'm what you could call....a Yulendil...if you follow the ancient Irrydil Elven tongue...means Half-Blood. Half Elf, half Human" said Andruil, though his tone seemed a bit glum compared to usual. he didn't enjoy stating that fact...

"And the two of us," Vix said, gesturing to Arsenic, "are elves as well." She glanced at Arsenic, who was watching the Selkie's reaction to his eyes with amusement. 'I have my mother's genes,' he told the young woman, meaning the changing eyes. His hair color and pale skin tone, to his dismay, had come from his father.

"My name does not remind me me of anything, no. I do not have any idea as to why I know my name but little else about myself" Desrium responded, wondering if he should tell the dragon about the sudden rush of insight he would have when he saw unfamiliar things. His name though, was particularly confusing. It was just one of few things he knew when he got off of the wet sand. Another was how to use his sword. He continued to force through the thick growth, prying apart bunches of plants and stepping past.

Khorne follwoed closely behind the scent trail Hraesvelgr was leaving. He didn't want to lose her.... especially in this alien place and at these temperatures....

Hraesvelgr soon reached the top of the hill, and called out to her mate, "I'm at the top! I can hardly see a thing from here, though!"

Riva's eyes kept growing wider. "Wow, a real elf?" she said and then poked Arsenic. She turned back to Andruil and frowned. "You don't seem very happy about that," she said, noting the tone in his voice. "Sorry, I've only heard about your kind in stories," she said and blushed a little.

Khorne growls, "Really? Hmmm..." He soon catches up with his mate.

"Perhaps it is time we head back home! It is getting cold up here, and there's nothing to really look for, except trees!"

Immanis returns to the dungeon and falls into a deep slumber, keys clutched in his hand as Formidonis roars, obviously hungry...

Draco rests on his throne. He was unsure if the demoness was to be trusted, but what choice did he really have? She had killed a good four guards by herself. The only people who could stand up to her were himself and Immanis, but the only thing that could most definately kill her was his familiar and Zazikel... and he was distressed to hear that both the steelcup cartel AND Germania turned down his offers of alliances. What was he to do?...

The basilisk hissed in agreement, saying, "we could come back some other time when this much snow is around!" She began to slither back down the mountain a moment later.

The ships sailed on, just about halfway to their objective than. King Mandu sat on his throne, sighing some time after he finished a speech given to his forces preparing to attack Draxon.

Kiara stirred in her sleep, hissing as she did so...

Khorne nods solemnly and follows his mate back down the mountain, letting out a slightly disappointed hiss that their efforts were wasted....

Hraesvelgr moved at near-jogging speed onwards back to where they had come from, looking around, though finding nothing at all...

Khorne followed closely behind his mate, not seeing anything either...

Hraesvelgr continued on, reaching the hill the two had been at just moments before they went to the next. She slowed down than, being cautious, considering how close the cliff was then...

"It's nothing to worry yourself about" responded Andruil with a reassuring grin. "Surely a lovely lady such as yourself has a lovely name to match, no?" he inquired, smiling warmly as he spoke...

Arsenic jumped a little in surprise, giving the young woman a slightly wide-eyed look through eyes the color of heather. 'Real from top to bottom,' he said after a moment, unable to help another small smile. Vix choked back a laugh.
