"Then we have something in common" Desrium replied, taking another bite from the fish. After chewing and swallowing, he said "We are both alone out here"

"I hope loneliness' end will be a clearer path for you than mine. Perhaps one day we will look back and remember this night as one where we saw fate's reflection of us in another" growled Septimus with a smile as he reached for the spit, pulling the two rods in the ground free and lining them up to one side of him. he would clean it before leaving in the morning...

"....Agreed" Desrium said, not exactly sure what to say to that. He didn't know how he ended up like this, so he couldn't fully relate to the dragon beyond being alone. But that wasn't true anymore, was it? He had the good fortune to run into a friendly face, regardless the hostility he saw before. He took another bite out of the fish, having eaten most of his peice by now. For some reason, the taste was...familiar to him, despite being the first time he ate it. It was just another mystery that plagued him

"You're free to stay here overnight. Tomorrow I head towards the coast to continue my journey. Judging by the direction you were heading, I expect we will be parting ways once we leave this place" growled Septimus as he lowered himself into a resting position, tail curled around his feet, his chin rested over his clawed hands, his glowing blue iris' seemingly glinting in the firelight...

"It would seem so" Desrium agreed when he finished his meal, resting the skewer at his side. "It was good to have met you, Septimus" He added, instinctively reaching behind him and undoing the latch that kept his sheathe to his back. With a soft click, the sheathe disconnected, dropping onto the soil with a soft thump. This new knowledge came with insight as to what night was, a time of darkness, danger... and rest. He shifted about, rolling onto his back and laying his helmet onto the sheathe. One would find sleeping in armour difficult, but for Desrium, drifting off to sleep came naturally. Even as he lay asleep, his red gaze never faded into the night...

As the sun rose upon the horizon the following morning, a low growl came from the Dragon as his neck curved, the draconic creature lifting his head from the ground and rising to his feet, stretching his limbs and wings and beating them lightly, loosening up from the night's rest, a gust of wind blowing out all around him from the strength of it. Twin trails of smoke rose from the dragon's nostrils, the iris of his eyes shimmering blue in defiance of the reddish hues of the early morning sun, his fangs glinting in the light, the large blade like retractable canines extending forward. His throat glowed a bright whitish blue, a beacon to anything that looked his way. As his jaws closed, he traced his tongue along his fangs with a low rumbling growl. Yesterday's meal had been light. Hunger was already tugging at his mind for attention, that familiar, unpleasant void in his stomach growing annoying. The Dragon grabbed a hold of the metal rods that made up the barbecue spit with a free hand, intending to clean them. His pupils narrowed to slits as he glanced up towards the sky and the dawning sun, suddenly beating his massive wings, launching him up vertically, wing tips almost touching beneath his form as he shot upwards from the force of the movement, a gust of wind and windswept grass remaining where he was a second ago, the Dragon deciding to go higher so he could get a good view of the surroundings and decide where to go after he had had his meal...

Khorne scans his landscape to see if there were any more beasts foolish enough to enter his dead realm. Seeing he is safe, the basilisk slithers back into his cave to rest.......

The guards carry the poor injured soldiers to the priest in the temple. Seeing how late it is at night and that few priests are awake, the lead guard knocks on the door. An old, hunched over priest responds from a now ajar door. "What do you want?" the priest asks in a croaky voice. "We have some soldiers that require blessings from Greshlynk," the lead guard responds firmly. "Alright, young sport, don't get too agressive with me," the priest mumbles as he opens the door wide open. The guards walk in, carrying their wounded into the temple after the priest......

The soldiers finally reach Freyr-Lunge after running all evening. The gates open a bit for them, so they run into the fortress to head to Drakun II's palace.......

Desrium slowly turned his head, looking at the shadowy figure above. The surrounding vegetation swayed and rustled loudly and loose leaves were blown away all together. He sat up and bent his knees, resting his arms on them. His jaws parted as he let out a yawn, the echo caused by the helmet making it sound like raspy growl. He rocked his head, loosening the joints in his neck before finally getting up. He then turned around, grabbed his sheathe and snapped it back onto place with one fluid movement. "...Morning" Desrium muttered as he looked up the dragon above, having a gut feeling that it was the fitting thing to do. He then looked around him, taking in the details of the forest. His first time under the rays of the sun. He took a deep breath and faced the side of the clearing that was in the direction he was heading before, starting to walk off with a mental farewell to the kind stranger. "Goodbye Septimus. Take care of yourself out there"

The elves' hunting party finally returned home when the sun began to rise, some carrying a deer on two wooden poles holding leather in between them, the object acting as a device to move heavy or large items without having to drag them. Natasaika yawned and stretched her arms after sitting up on her hanging bed, shortly before getting off it and heading outside. Servan woke up soon afterwards, just going outside to see if the hunters had come back.

After a good rest and a meal to fill him shortly before, Ikargu slowly woke in the darkest corner of his cave, and soon walked out, flexing his wings. The ice dragon managed to catch a couple of fish within his mouth the night before, and after that good rest he had felt as if he just wanted to fly all day long...

The priest says, "Set the wounded before the alter." The guards agree and place the three wounded before the alter to Greshlynk, which is a monstrous statue with water pouring form its eyes into a fountain that spreads out to the rest of the city. The priest takes a large jug and fills it up with the water.......

As the sun began to rise up, it's rays pierced through a window, before shining upon the face of a sleeping man. The man turned onto his side, before sitting up, now awake. "Time to get up, I guess." The man said as he got out of bed. On him was a large, purple robe, lavished with feathers, leafs, and colorful stripes. The man, named Trajan, had had a rough night of sleep, an dwith no servants coming to help him get back to rest, he had woken up to a rather late start. He slumped over to a wooden closet, befor eopening it up, revealing numerous identicle robes. He tossed off the one he currently had on and put on a new one, before turning around and heading for the stairs. My servants can clean up this mess later... the man thought as he carefully treaded down the ivory steps, while holding onto the railing on the stone wall. He was still tired, and te last thing he needed was to fall flat on his face.

Wings pulled in slightly, Uriel was roaring through the air at high speeds, riding a particularly strong current of air high in the atmosphere. Having traveled all night after his brief rest, the dragon practically flew the width of the continent to the western edge. Smelling the sea below, Uriel pulled his wings in completely, plummeting like a missile toward the ground. Piercing through the clouds, the dragon soon saw the ocean below. Tilting slightly, he angled himself toward the beach rather then the water, wings outstretched once again, causing the dragon to rapidly slow, eventually dropping to the sand in a run, wings folded, heading further up the beach...

Servan soon walked out from his home, his arms outstretched as he finally yawned, before asking his sister, "well, Natasaika?" She glanced up before replying, "well, what?" "Seems like the hunters have finally gotten back with a meal for the clan," he soon stated, watching the dead deer be carried to another area within the Bay village. The noble, along with his sister, soon both walked towards the tidal pool. As Servan neared, however, he was seemingly shoved by an unknown force directly into the water, a facial expression of shock on his face. Natasaika simply giggled after pushing her brother in, but was quickly dragged into the water aswell, her brother's head now raised out and his hand gripped on Natasaika's leg...

Trajan came to the end of the stairs, before coming upon a large, steel door. He opened it slowly, before entering into a large room. Two large chandeliers hung from the ceiling, and stone graven images of birds, bees, and serpents adorned the walls. There were 3 plain windows looking out from the room, and in the center of it was a large covered table, 5 feet across and 30 feet long. There were 8 chairs on each side, and three servants were just finishing putting a large breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, Hash browns, Sausage, Milk, and blueberry muffinsonto the table. Trajan looked at the large meal set out on the table before smirking. "Are you three the only ones up right now?" Trajan asked, an eyebrow raised as he eyed each of the servants, noticing that none of them had changed since yesterday. "Yes, Emperor Trajan. The other 17 slaves are still asleep, but the Pope seems to have left very early, sir." one of the servants responded, as Trajan sat himself down in the seat nearest to the door. The three servants also took their seats, befor epreparing their plates. "That old fool.. He's propably out feeding that pet of his in the Library chambers..." Trajan snorted as he also prepared his plate. Just a few blocks away from the Castle here was the local library, a 4 story building made of fir wood and concrete. Beneath the building itself was a a series of catacombs, where the Pope had his personal pet live. It had been deemed far too dangerous to live anywhere else, and had been sent there for the safety of those in Tristan. After this meal, the Emperor, with his three servants, would head off to the Library to not only find something good to read, but also see if the Pope was there or not...

As the black and silver dragon ascended, he saw a black figure shooting downwards in the distance. eying it for a moment he realised it was a dragon. interesting considering he hadn't seen any in recent days. he had thought for a short while that perhaps he had found a place on the continent where dragons wouldn't tread. he kept mind of the Dragon, noting various small villages in the surrounding area at various spots, some by the beach, some deep in the forests and only visible because of the faint trails of smoke coming from hut chimneys, some even built into a cliff face in the distance; a fact that surprised the dragon. he would have to investigate later. Septimus suddenly closed his wings, swinging his tail upwards in relation to his body, the webbing of his large tail fin causing him to do a sudden backflip, flipping him nose down, the Dragon beating his wings once, shooting downwards at the river, the dragon holding the arm with the rods slightly to the side, as he used his tail and wings to change angle, moving almost horizontally as he reached within feet of the ground, moving across the river at high speed, his jaws lowering to the water as he glided along its surface, drinking several mouthfuls of the crystal clear water, snapping his jaws shut on a fish as he went, his clawed hand holding the rods just below the water's surface, cleaning them from the remnants of the previous night's meal, before ascending and flying back to the clearing to retrieve his equipment, the Dragon spreading his wings widely and beating powerfully as he slowed to a stop, the gust blowing into the trees, a faint thump sounding as the Dragon landed. walking on his hind legs, arcing his back to adjust his displacement to allow him to do so, the Dragon walking over to his travelling bags, dropping the metal rods in one and fastening the opening at the top, before closing the leather cover over the top of it, the Dragon then biting the fish in half, gulpig down one half whole, before eating the other half, the fish being too big to swallow in one gulp. licking his fangs clean the Dragon crouched, easing the straps on and making sure they were firmly tightened, before taking off once more, in search of his next destination...

The Emperor and his servants began to eat their prepared breakfast, Trajan started off with the bacon, his favorite food while the servants dipped their muffins into their glasses of milk before eating. Through the meal, everyone was very quiet, as Trajan continued to eye each of the three servants. He knew all too well that there could be assasins anywhere right now to kill him and take the throne. Ever since his own father, the last emperor of Germania, had been assasinated, Trajan himself had developed a paranoia that everyone and anyone might be out to stab him in the back. He needed to keep his guard up, all the time. He even suspected that one of his servants might have been replaced by an assasin, hence explaining him eyeing each of his servants constantly...

Elsewhere in the city of Tristan, a crowd of people was entering into the public Library, which also was the local bookstore for the town. Here, people gathered around to read, discuss the latest developments, and, with a bar on the top floor, get drunk and forget life's horrid miseries and woes. The crowd entering the library seemed like any other crowd, but hidden inside the crowd was a unique person, one almost never seen at this time of day...

The scent of blood soon reached the dragon, his crown of spikes pointed up, alert. Raising his head to get a better whiff of the scent, Uriel soon found it was originating further north: Clearly a freshly killed animal. His flight the night before left him drained, and the dragon found himself once again hungry. Hoping for an easy meal, Uriel lifted off into the air, soaring high to try and spot the source. What he found was yet another village, positioned near the ocean. Disheartened but not defeated, the dragon shot back toward the ground, disappearing into the dense forest near the village...

"Oh, great and powerful Greshlynk, take mercy upon these beings and grant them a new chance at life for drinknig the water from your most sacred spring." The priest has the guards that are wounded drink the water. "They should be put to bed immediately. That way, the water will have an effect on them faster," the priest says. The other guards nod in agreement before taking their wounded comrades to the guards' infirmary......

The soldiers enter the palace before shouting: "My leige! We have something important to tell you!" The king hears these cries from his room high above the rest of the apalce and quickly comes down, his guards and Draco coming down as well.....

Within the forest Uriel went into just moments ago, two of the other 3 villages, the Viperstalk Village and the Rock Village, lay, hidden by the trees around them, the only thing telling where they were located was the thin pillars of smoke in the sky. The deer was soon brought to the center of the village so it could be skinned and used by the clan, mostly for either tools or food. Servan swam under the surface of the tidal pool with Natasaika, the two slowly heading towards the sea as fish quickly bolted from the two elves...

Khorne rests peacefully in his wasteland home. The wastelands themselves, however, were anything but peaceful: the land began to grow hotter, and the volcanoes became even more active; soon, even Khorne, one of the last creatures living in the wasteland, would be forced to find himself a new home..........
