The startled Kroxigor dropped its axe, which thudded to the ground in front of it. The massive beast lunged back and forth, clawing over its shoulders to try and free itself of the human.

The remaining Kroxigor charged into the fray, smashing its spiked club into the prone archer and crushing him, before swinging to the side and smacking aside another unfortunate human. The monstrous creature was covered in dozens of light sword wounds, but this didn't seem to stop the Kroxigor, only seeming to make it angrier...

Another hail of poisoned blowdarts zipped from the forest, taking down yet more soldiers, the Skinks refusing to leave the safety of the trees...

Natasaika walked up to a nearby rack and placed Servan's spear on it just as the young man placed his sister's basket on a wooden log sticking from the ground, shortly before walking into his room and leaping into a hammock made from wooven vines. Natasaika walked into her room soon afterwards and did the same, the tired girl's eyes quickly shutting as she began to fall asleep.

On a mountain edge, a seemingly young ice dragon sat on the perch, gazing down at the world around him. Ikargu opened his mouth and made a yawning sound, shaking his head softly as he turned to see his den behind his folded wings...

The Kroxigor spins around, the blade in its back flying out of the man's hand. With a brutal lunge forward, the Kroxigor's jaws closed around the soldier's head, crushing it into a bloody pulp. Shaking its massive head from side to side, the Kroxigor succeeded in wrenching the head from its body. Gulping the meal down, the Kroxigor charged forward, bowling over the remaining humans like ninepins...

The second Kroxigor let out a terrific bellow, charging forward as well, this time in a blind rage, thrashing out indiscriminately at everything around it, while the Skinks continued their venomous barrage from a safe distance...

Gorging himself on the cow, Uriel does not notice a group of the creatures making a run for it, stampeding over the fence and into the street in a desperate attempt to escape, the remaining cattle following shortly after. Lifting his head up, the dragon watches the scene unfold, clearly surprised by the commotion, but otherwise undeterred...

The farmer backs up agaisnt the door of his home, before shouting, "Guards! Guards, come quick!"

As the faremr shouts this the royal guards round the corner, before stopping dead in their tracks. "By the gods above........" one guard comments. "I've never seen one so close!" "How did it get here without encountering the gryphons?" another says. "Should we kill it?" another asks. "No," the captain states. "The king's been hoping to have a dragon of his own. Let's get it, boys!" The royal guards run towards the dragon, the farmer running into his home...

By now, a good two or three other families have been alerted of the dragon's presence, locknig their doors and closing their curtains in fear......

The Lizardmen had returned back to the settlement by this point and had told Kroq-Gar of what had happened. Obviously satisfied, the Scar-Leader brushed off the fact that there had been survivors. By the time they returned, the Lizardmen would be gone, and no human would be foolish enough to go on a wild goose chase into the jungles of Lustria...

Hissing, Uriel's maw opens, unleashing a weak bluish fireball which slams into one of the bow-armed soldiers, the resulting blast knocking the allies around him down, as well as shattering his bow into millions of pieces.
