Name: Taleun Sinari

Title/Rank: Recon Corp Gunner

Age: 20

Species: Human

Gender: Male

Description

Height: 5'8

Weapons/Equipment: Rugged metal plates with leather armor are standard for members of the Recon Corps. Sinari, who goes by the name of Natols in his social circle, wears the gunner variant of Recon Corp armor. The armor is designed with mobility in mind, offering decent protection to its wearer but maximizing their overall agility. Sinari's weapon is a standard issue wood and steel light bowgun with a short range zoom scope attached. The bowgun takes a decent variety of ammunition and burst-fires three shots with each squeeze of the trigger.

Personality: Diligent and honorable best describe Sinari. He is a soldier before all else, and his steely disposition compliments his line of work.

History: Born in the city of Weywin, Taleun found himself being just one out of many children bearing the Sinari name. While his more rowdy siblings kept his parents distracted with their ceaseless troublemaking, Taleun became self-reliant and strong willed. Because of this, he gravitated to the life of a city guardsman and trained as a cadet until he was finally able to join the ranks proper at the ripe age of 20. While his siblings all moved on beyond the city limits to pursue their own goals, Taleun devotes his time to keeping threats at bay with the other soldiers of Weywin.

Name: Warren Zuul
Title/Rank: Hunter
Age: 24
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Description: Tall, with short dark hair on the scalp, and a long braided tail down his neck and back. Tan skin, brown eyes.
Height: 6'3
Weapons/Equipment: Warren wears a mixture of leather and metal armor on most of his hunts, allowing for an even mix of mobility and endurance. Wields two light bowguns, designed to operate with the use of only one hand. While projectile velocity is not as extreme as an ordinary bowgun, rate of fire is increased exponentially, allowing for sustained rapid fire over long periods.
Personality: Fairly laid back, but to the point; as a seasoned Hunter, he isn't one to mess around on the job. Isn't afraid to do what it takes to get the job done.
History: At 16, Warren left the small village that was his home. With an average life of average means and average satisfaction, he was always fascinated by the world beyond. When a representative of the Guild visited his village, bringing with him a lifetime of fantastic and even terrifying tales, Warren knew his fate lay elsewhere. As a Hunter - a mercenary, of sorts - Warren travels the world, helping others with problems that are beyond them, often meeting up with members of the Guild to carry out these incredible tasks.

Name: Diamen Burks
Title/Rank: Hunter
Age: 25
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Description: A tall, well built man with short grey hair, and a thick mustache and beard. Pale green eyes, and light skin. One eye though is paler in color to the other.
Height: 6ft 1
Weapons/Equipment: Diamen wears what one would consider to be a decent choice of armor, a combination of metal and leather with the hide of a Baruprey overlaid over it to add some extra protection at the cost of mobility. His weapon of choice is a lance, crafted in steel and with downward curving barbs at the end. This is so that when he plunges it into the hide of a monster, it does more damage as it tears out larger chunks of it. At the same time, he also has a shield to go with the lance, made of the same material as his armor.
Personality: Calm, and friendly, Diamen is a guy one can get along with, though he has a tendency to try and prove he is a skilled hunter. He can be somewhat unreliable, and a bit bullheaded
History: As a child, Diamen only wanted to be one thing: A hunter like the great hunters of old, those of myths and legends that earned their right in the history books. He came from a small town where not much happened, and growing bored of the simple life there, he left, heading off to try and earn a place in fame and glory...

Name of Species: Baruaprey
Description: A large amphibious creature similar to a lamprey, Baruaprey can reach lengths of up to 10 meters, and weigh over a ton. They have pale, pulsing skin and a large jawed mouth which hides a 12 foot long tongue designed to suck the life fluids from its prey. Their heads are mounted on a long, 3 meter long neck that helps house the unusually long tongue. They are often seen in moist, wet climates and near water to keep their skin wet.
Natural Abilities: The Baruaprey has a large barbed tongue up to 4 meters in length that can pierce through tough hide and sap up the blood of its prey. This tongue is equipped with barbs 6 inches long that harpoon out when the tongue pierces a victim, anchoring it in as it drinks up the blood. Powerful jaws with 800 PSI and well developed claws help it grasp and kill more troublesome prey, or pin them down as it does its work, and a long, finned tail can be used as a deadly weapon as well, swatting aside pests and deterring similar-sized foes. It is an adapt swimmer, and more at home in the water than it is on land.... though that is not to say it can't hold its own on land as well.

Name: Thirio Skotosei
Title/Rank: Hunter
Age: 20
Species: Thylacine
Gender: Male
Description: He has a large, heavily-built body, with robust legs and a lion-like tail. His fur is a dark orange, he has tiger-like stripes going down his back, arms, and his tail, and his jaws are more broad and muscular than a non-sentient Thylacine. He has a trio of cuts on his left ear, and there are a series of claw and bite marks across his midsection and limbs.
Height: 6'10
Weapons/Equipment: Thirio wears thick metal plated armor across his upper body, with chain metal armor covering his legs and tail, this overall get-up giving him great protection with little need for much agility. His weapons of choice are his fists, covered in spiked metal armor that covers his hands and claws, the metal covering his claws being finely serrated.
Personality: Thirio dislikes long-term planning and prefers to settle any battle in head-to-head confrontation. He enjoys fighting for the fun of the battle itself and respects others who feel the same or have a history of combat in their life. Thirio enjoys the basic pleasures in life, but also values more concepts that bear greater emotion and honor, such as protecting one's loved ones. Having lived on his own for as long as he could remember, Thirio prefers being alone, though he doesn't mind the company of other individuals.
History: Orphaned as a youngster, Thirio spent his life as a nomad, moving from town to town in his journey and spending his time training himself in the wild regions of the land. Occasionally, Thirio will join any missions offered by any nearby settlements, but for the most part doesn't stay in any particular town for too long.

Name of Species: Manticore
Description. Their fur is a similar color to normal lions, and their manes(only found on males) vary from being red to blackish-brown. Their stingers are a reddish-brown in coloring, and their wings are similar in color to their fur, with the membranes being a dark red. Males are as comparatively large as a White Rhino at the shoulders, with females a foot smaller.
Natural Abilities: The stinger of a Manticore can fling numerous barbed darts that inject a fast-acting neurotoxin that paralyzes the prey, the stinger able to regrow the barbs over time and can inject the same type of venom. Manticores fight viciously, their teeth and claws quite sharp(as well as having several rows of teeth like a shark) and being able to cut through tough armor, their stingers being a deadly stabbing weapon as well. Manticores fly primarily when they are searching for/pursuing prey, and they are fairly durable, able to take a great amount of damage(especially the males) and they are resistant to fire and electric attacks.

Name: Krogmar
Title/Rank: Bounty Hunter/Explorer/Monster Hunter
Age: 40
Species: Leonine
Gender: Male
Height: 6'7''
Description: A dark-pelted lion-like humanoid. His greyish silver mane and scarred face hint that he is older than he looks, though physically, no other sign can be seen to affirm such a suspicion, as he is very large, and very well built, if appearances are to be believed. Curved claws adorn his fingers, and his legs are notably digitigrade, setting him apart instantly from the humans that surround him. His feet are also shaped like the paws of a lion, though are proportionately bigger, to balance out the added weight and bipedal stance. The feet themselves are protected by armoured plating and thick, tough soles, serving as his boots. He's almost never seen out of his armour (an unusual trait for a Leonine), so what he looks like underneath is still very much a mystery.

Weapons/Equipment: A set of aged black and gold armour, seemingly in decent condition despite it's apparent age, adorns his body. At his sides, two curved swords are sheathed in scabbards strapped to his thighs. On his back, he carries a backpack, made of the hides of predatory monsters. The leather is tanned and lined on the inside with wool, protecting his more delicate belongings. To one side of it, the scabbard of a longsword is positioned, the blade within black, though its edge glows a dull blue. Over the backpack and sword scabbard is a heater shield with upwards curved fang-like spikes covering its surface. A notch can be seen in the left side of the shield, meant for a weapon to be positioned.

Personality: Energetic and spontaneous, Krogmar is known for his reckless and aggressive tactics, almost as much so as for his explosive temper. As quick to laugh as he is to kill, some consider him to be at least partially mad, though there is no denying his skill.

History: A member of a reclusive race not frequently seen by the rest of the world, Krogmar was born to blacksmith parents. He quickly showed his affinity for getting into and out of difficult situations, and was notable for being willing to do anything for the right incentive. Early on he showed the exceptional reflexes and determination that were expected of most practical jobs beyond the borders of the village, from exploring and resource gathering, to hunting and trapping. A falling out with his family led him to depart from the village, taking on numerous jobs over the course of several years, taking on whatever he could get to get by. Between then and today something happened that seriously affected him, as he is much less mentally stable and predictable now than he was back then. When asked about the poor state of his current armour, his response is typically that nobody has the skill needed to repair it, though the truth may well be that the armour ties to his past and for some reason he refuses to part with it even for a moment.
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"

Name of Species: Synthenoi
Description: People know them by more commonly used names like; Plantmen, Treefolk, and other less flattering names. Synthenoi are sentient plants that spend most of their lives rooted in places watching the world go by. Most grow to a height of six to seven feet and actively mimic local plant life to remain hidden from threats. A Synthenoi's appearance can vary widely and is not predetermined by parentage. Synthenoi possess their own language, culture, and way of life. Small groups or individuals lead nomadic lives, occasionally coming across others and sharing stories of creatures, peoples, and events they have witnessed. Some truly wild individuals seek these things out actively, seeking to absorb all of life's wonders and spread their tales to others. These individuals are known as 'Geb Anaver' or 'Earth Wanderers'. Though are not religious by nature (mind the pun) they do refer to the earth with a great deal of praise and reverence.
Natural Abilities: Synthenoi can perform minor shape shifting to mimic local flora as well as change their pigmentation at will. Synthenoi are able to adapt to harsh conditions forming sharp barbs and thorns for self defense, and water storing pouches for dry conditions. Synthenoi can be carnivorous to make up for nutrition deficiencies in poor soil. Travelers beware; Synthenoi can fire barbed poison spines at close range or lace the air with poison spores to subdue prey or aggressors. Synthenoi can adapt to constant wandering and time spent uprooted, this comes at the cost of needing to actively acquire nutrition and water. They are negatively termed 'Navba u Geb' AKA 'Not of Earth' which is also a term synonymous for being human, a people Synthenoi hate for several reasons like the following. Synthenoi sap is often forcefully extracted and boiled to be used for anti-venoms.
"We all go about our daily lives, waiting for the next big thing, the next cool trend, even the smallest bits of info on anything happening, but what we're really waiting for... is for something interesting to happen to us, thats what draws us to the rich and famous... we want to be like them... I don't, I'm fine with who I am... and you should be too" - RT3
