"So... this is for your own personal gratitude? Some sort of 'holy crusade' to, what, find yourself?" King Ghidorah hissed. "I have to admit, I expected more out of a creature such as yourself. Regardless, what makes you think you can decide whether this world lives or dies? You can't possibly think you can change fate, do you? This world will die, and nothing you ever do will matter in the end. Your power to protect these silly creatures is all a lie. It's fruitless to try and stop the inevitable. Do you really wish to become a martyr for a hopeless cause?"

"Find myself? Hardly. Dragon, you over think things, which is painfully ironic given your stature in mind. I am simply a weapon, as you said, aimed at a proper enemy. From what I have seen thus far, my efforts are making all the difference in the world" Spinnerax replied, just about send a scorching spiral across the dragon's three faces when he picked up on the incoming aircraft, the roar of their jets distant. He began to make a strange noise, an electronic wavering that could barely be described as a chuckle. "Weak willed, you said?" He rumbled to King Ghidorah as the forces made their way to the area. In the time the two monsters spoke, most civillians had been evacuated from the nearby settlement, meaning the arriving forces had full permission to open fire...

"Its open you dumb ***." Talon's voice called from behind the door, where he was still stationed on the couch, the electronic lock on the door having been deactivated long ago...

Horus snarled, a pulse of energy pluming from his jaws as a golden beam shot back, intercepting Infernus' beam, tearing through it almost effortlessly, the incredible force behind the beam overpowering the heat beam before exploding in the saurian's face, blowing it off it's feet and to the ground, the Dragon's eyes narrowing as he banked again, turning to face the volcanic beast head on...

King Ghidorah narrowed his six eyes. He heard the jets too. "Yes, weak-willed. Their war machines will not stop me. They are no braver than rats in a sewer. I will enjoy seeing them try to fight for once..."

Without warning, Spinnerax's horn flashed as it released the stream of energy, the spiral of red slamming down on King Ghidorah's middle head and bearing down on the specific area. It was gradually lowering the integrity of the scales, which were now browning slowly under the intense concentration of heat. The speedy, silver jets began to circle around the monsters, several missiles being fired off by each aircraft, which arced about as they made their way to their targets. These jets had a long fuselage, the cockpit situated near the nose of the craft, forming a clear blue bulb, while the wings were prominant at the craft's rear. This design allowed these craft to house maser weaponry, as well as conventional arms.

King Ghidorah had been prepared for an attack since the beginning of the conversation. His glowing scales had been absorbing the power from the surrounding buildings, gathering the electrical current into a shield around his body. The beam not only failed to pierce the shield, but bounced away, reflecting into the sky above the space dragon, who simply chuckled. "Oh, nice work protecting your planet! I couldn't have done it better myself!" He laughed cruelly as the missiles hit his shield and had the same effect as the beam, exploding harmlessly...

There was a dull clunk as Jackson turned the handle. The door swung open slowly, the rusted blade of Jackson's staff entering the room before the man in tattered black atire. He had an annoyed look on his face, which promptly disappeared once he saw he couch. The cushioned seat was a beacon from the past, bringing tidings of rest and comfort. By now, a sentimental look of longing started to seek into his expression, which he quickly worked to hide from the stranger. The time where he knew luxary were gone now...

Infernus snarls and gets to his feet, the beam seeming to have done little more than to make the fiery titan even angrier. The Smoke Clad King's eyes glow red before an even stronger beam tears through the sky, slamming into Horus' right wing.....

Among the orange balls of flame that broke out just over the dragon's golden hide were plumes of dark gray clouds that lingered around it, toxic gas billowing up and hanging in the air around King Ghidorah. Spinnerax cut across the missiles that came after him with the last of his heat ray, the explosions going off in a semicircle and creating a firey crescent. He flew over King Ghidorah and abruptly stopped beating his wings, plummeting to the Earth and creating a massive quake. The cyborg wasp had detected water nearby the golden hydra while he was in the air, a water main that passed underneath the city. He stabbed his drills into the ground, the spinning weapons boring through the asphalt and metal below before suddenly being wrenched from the ground, a plume of water shooting up to the surface. Quickly the wasp began to beat his wings, using the wind the action created to direct the water at the electrical monster, draining the energy powering its shield.

Seeing that his plan didn't work out as he intended, King Ghidorah decided it was time to end the fight. With a mighty screech, he released the built-up energy of his shield, still at full strength at the time because of the power he was taking from the city around him. The electrical wave went in every direction for a significant distance, catching the jets as they flew by and knocking them easily out of the sky, as well as Spinnerax, if he didn't fly away first...

Spinnerax, while avoiding the worst of the damage with a quick wing assisted leap, still suffered dibilitating shocks which he took with silent indignation, funnelling the excess power into his horn and releasing it instantaneously as a heat ray that cut across the space dragon's body. The beam was no different than his regular blast of energy, though because the wasp didnt need to summon his own power, there was no gradual flash of red from his horn until just before the beam was released.

King Ghidorah absorbed the blow and hissed, "Alright, I'll give you a choice: leave now, and we'll pretend we never met. I go on fulfilling my real purpose, and you go and play guardian. Or, of course, we can fight, and more of this city will be annihilated in a battle that may or may not be worth your time.. Seems like an easy decision to me..."

"I do not negotiate with creatures the likes of you, dragon. This city will be damaged either way. The only thing making this fight worthwhile is, by killing you, I spare the others around the world" Spinnerax replied, swerving out of the way of a missile barrage fired by the surviving jets, several missiles arching towards King Ghidorah, while many already crashed against his back shortly after he stopped speaking, the gray cloud of toxins spreading out around him, as well as a blue, shimmering frost that spread out from certain points of impact: the result of cadmium warheads...

King Ghidorah flapped his wings powerfully, blowing away the toxic cloud around him, as well as keeping his body at a high enough temperature to keep him from being effected by the cadmium just yet. "Thee have been many who have said the same thing, cyborg. What makes you think you'll be any different from the rest I have burned to ash? I suggest you take your leave. Wouldn't you rather kill off weaker threats first, instead of risking your life in a vain attempt to stop me?"

The space wasp disappeared without warning, his yellow and black form streaking across the sky as a blur. The golden hydra's three heads suddenly lurched upwards after the wasp's drill struck from underneath, another dazing blow. It was promptly followed by Spinnerax slamming his spiked metasoma into King Ghidorah's body, sending him falling back to the Earth. "You think too highly of yourself" Was Spinnerax's simple response as he came to a hover again, his drills held up and spinning with a low whir.

Spinnerax was only able to hit King Ghidorah's central head, but the consecutive blows still made him stagger backwards. Even as the cyborg wasp spoke, King Ghidorah's other two heads were firing their Gravity Beams, and at this range they easily hit Spinnerax and pushed him backwards with sheer kinetic power, supported by the powerful electrical shocks...

The cyborg insect shot backwards as the bolts of electricity crackled across his body, being drawn to his horn and released as another instantanous beam, packing the same kinetic force as the hydra's lightning and driving it the rest of the way to the ground, the scales frozen by cadmium suddenly shattering from the impact. Suddenly a barrage of missiles slammed into Spinnerax's carapace as the jets moved in for another attack, several more missiles descending towards King Ghidorah.

The high amount energy and heat produced from King Ghidorah's body had melting most of the ice, preventing his scales from shattering. The space dragon staggered back from the beam again, but instead of firing back, he fired at the missiles descending towards him, the Gravity Bolts easily knocking the missiles from the sky. The bolts arced from one projectile to the next, one of the bolts managing to reach a passing jet and take it out in the process...

While the space hydra was busy with the missiles, Spinnerax charged forwards once more, jabbing the left head with a drill, while swinging the other about, bashing the other two about and jarring their necks. His mandibles clamped down on the middle head's exposed neck before he stabbed the right one as well.
