A Spawn youth found itself in an odd room. The area had these strange things, which looked like sticks with several things on them. One object looked like a stick with claws, and another looked like one with a hardened and shallow pouch. The young alien hopped onto the counter, sniffing the raw meat lying before it. It started to eat the uncooked pork; although it was cold it was satisfying. The Spawn grew a slight amount, then continuing to devour the pork on the counter...

The Spawn controlling the ship accidentally hit a button, turning on the alarm system of the entire ship. However, the ship was starting to pick up speed, little by little, moving inches faster than before, inches turning into feet, feet turning into yards...

The Geth manning the jamming tower outpost detected the incoming ship, but it landed out of range of their guns. That meant it was also out of the way, and of no consequence. If anything moved too close, however, they wouldn't hesitate to open fire, even without their Armature ambush...

Khuurava snarled as he suddenly bolted, leaping hard as he stuck to the wall with a metallic clunk, the Khurakra kicking off once more as he collided with one of the Geth on the ceiling, dragging it down to the ground with him, his foot slamming down on its head as he landed, before hurling the corpse at a second, his side arm being drawn and firing repeatedly at the Krogan's face...

Closing in on the ground, the mauve craft's 24 landing gear unfolded from underneath its length, dangling below the ship. Simultaneously, the side panels slide apart and outwards, allowing two thin metal poles to extend on either side, a yellow-orange membrane of energy appearing in the space between them. The fixed wings of energy seemed to cancel the scout ship's inertia during atmospheric flight and in minutes it touched down onto the grassy ground almost gracefully. Upon landing, the almost electric bands of energy dispersed and the frames retracted into the scout ship while the lower hatch opened with a hiss of air. Ecliptor dropped out from within, rifle on his back. His first task was to locate equipment worth retrieval and to do so he had to do some exploring...

He wasted no time in making his way toward the Geth fort, passive stealth systems engaging as he bolted out of the pit with impressive speed befitting his slender build, using natural rises and ridges to cover his approach. While he wasn't invisible, sensors would not pick up on his presence, not even ones attuned to motion.

The second Geth Hopper dodged its fallen comrade, leaping to another wall, only to be intercepted by a burst of gunfire from Arrak's Phaeston. Agile as they were, the Hoppers weren't very tough, and the synthetic was quickly sent flying, tumbling to the ground in a crumpled heap, leaking white fluid. The Krogan snarled and ran forward, his shields absorbing the rounds, while he brought out his Revenant and fired back at the Khurakra...

The Geth at the outpost scanned the flat, desertlike plain with renewed vigor, aware of a possible intruder. In case of another vehicular assault, the Troopers had armed themselves with Javelin Sniper Rifles, to give themselves a range advantage, as well as an offensive measure to stop armored vehicles. The scopes of the rifles could highlight enemy targets as well, even through smoke or thin cover...

The Spawn youngling in the kitchen continued to feast on the pork, unaware of the human walking into the kitchen. This human was Charles Taylor, who would be, little to his knowledge, the last survivor of the Spawn's assault. Charles was alarmed by the alien in the kitchen, eating the pork, although he was silent. He slowly picked up a large steak knife, headed towards the young Spawn as it ate. Suddenly, he started to slam the knife into the alien, green blood flying onto the knife, his arms, the counter, and the Spawn itself. Screeches filled the air as the Spawn youth was being continuously stabbed, its legs flailing crazily, finally falling limp when the creature died from either its heavy amounts of blood that it had lost, or the fact that its heart and lungs had been punctured several times from the large blade of the steak knife...

The ship was out of control, due to the fact that it was being "controlled" by a non-professional "pilot," which barely knew what it was even let alone how to control its course.

Raze snarled, biting into the ankle of the corpse, dragging it out of the room and towards the Birthmother's shuttle...

Little by little, the base grew larger and larger. The speedy Seeker observed its outer perimeter as the distance between him and it decreased with each passing minute. His attention was divided between his enhanced sights, which were magnified by many times to allow Ecliptor to see individual units from hundreds of feet away and his environment, avoiding obstructions in his path. He balanced both tasks flawlessly while formulating his plan...

Charles walked out of the kitchen, hearing some more clicking. He walked into the hallway, only to find another Spawn youngling walking through the halls. The alien turned its head to face the man, then dashing right for him, its mandibles open, leaping into the air towards him. Charles still held the knife as the creature pounced on him, trying to bite onto his head. He evasively moved his head out of the way of each grab of the animal's teeth and mandibles, then grabbing its neck and throwing it off of him. For such a sized creature, it was quite lightweight. The Spawn let out a high pitched snarl, trying to pounce on the human in frustration as it slashed and stabbed at him with its claws. Charles put his hand down on the alien's head, pushing it to the floor as he brought the steak knife down upon the beast's sides, slicing and stabbing until it died.

Raze arrived at the shuttle bay, dragging the corpse into the shuttle. The Birthmother gave an approving nod as Raze sliced open the corpse's chest, spreading out the wound. The larger Spawn then proceeded to lay a small cluster of eggs inside of the corpse's wound, which hatched into cat-sized Spawn. The Spawnlings began to feast upon the corpse that they hatched from...

The console had little importance to them, though it did hold a few images of the younger stages of this "Prometheus". It appeared that, before the monster became the hulking mass of muscle and tentacles it was now, it went through some form of pupal stage. The scientsts gathered around it seemed rather joyous of their discovery. Of course, Agrippa knew that all their happiness would be pointless, as none of them would escape tyhe facility alive....

Suddenly, a noise was heard. A deep growl was audible from one of the nearby halls, as heavy footfalls could be heard approaching. The flicker of lights isgnalled the being's approach, but it seemed that it was changing with every flash of the light. The shadow grew smaller and more feral looknig with each blink of light, as the sounds of its musculature shifting an warping rung in the halls. Agrippa turned to his men.

"Get in cover! Something's coming!" he ordered.

Immediately, they all found a desk and hid behind it, prepping their weapons, as the monster entered their room, clicking its teeth together, before its footsteps could be heard squishing across the floor, sniffing the area for its prey...

Khuurava snarled as he sustained the fire with one hand, drawing his assault rifle with the other and diving to the side as the Krogan drew close, twisting around as he landed, putting away his side arm so he could use his hand to stabilise the assault rifle as he continued the attack, whittling down the Krogan's armour with the vitriolic rounds, the powerful acid eating away at the plating soon after punching through the shields...

The Krogan turned as Khuurava dove to the side, taking the rounds in the chest, but moving forward regardless. He smashed the mercenary into the wall with his Revenant, trying to knock Khuurava's own weapon out of his hands. Arrak would've helped, but he was busy with the Geth Hoppers, which were now focusing entirely on him...

The Geth soon spotted Ecliptor on the horizon, but he was still out of range of their weapons, and he wasn't easy to identify. Regardless, the Geth at the outpost readied their weapons, just in case...

The Seeker finalized his plan, closing in on the outer defensive line. With tens of meters yet to be covered, the blue plated Seeker began channeling energy into his palms as he sprinted, white orbs of light forming in his three claws. When they began to pulsate and flash energetically, Ecliptor leapt into the air, arcing his body over as if he were going to dive into the ground, arms stretched out. From his hands, the energy erupted, exploding against the ground in a crackling dome of power, which served to launch the Seeker up and over the Geth units, Ecliptor's body tucked into a ball as he spun through the air.

Khuurava used the wall to his advantage, raising a foot up between himself and the Krogan, kicking hard, launching the attacking merc back as Khuurava fired a grenade right at the Krogan as soon as he was out of immediate range. the round slammed into the Krogan's chest, detonating on impact as Khuurava reached for one of his blades, flipping it in hand as he moved forward, fully intent on cleaving the weakened Krogan in half...

Charles looked down at the dead alien, shoving it with his foot to check if it had any signs of life. It's dead, he thought to himself, looking up from the corpse to see if any others were around him. Charles then stepped over the dead Spawn, starting to walk to the armory. If he needed anything it would be a gun...

Raze looked up at the Birthmother, clicking to his leader. The Birthmother screeched to her minion as she curled up on the wall she hung from, seeming to order Raze to find more corpses. Raze dashed out of the shuttle and down the hall...

The Spawn in the pilot's bridge gave up trying to control the ship, biting onto the head of one of the bodies in the room at the moment and leaping into the vent, taking the dead human with it...

The Geth immediately turned to track Ecliptor, intercepting his landing point with Pulse Rifle fire, intent on having the synthetic land right in the midst of a hail of phasic slugs...

The Krogan was momentarily stunned, bent double as he shook his armored head to clear his senses, both deafened and blinded by the point-blank grenade explosion...

As his spin lost momentum, Ecliptor sprawled out his limbs, palms ablaze with light again. Releasing the burst of energy at an upwards angle in front of him, the Seeker changed course in mid-air, propelling himself down into one of the robotic guards with one leg extended. He collided forcefully with the Geth with the augmented kick, blowing it off its feet while the Seeker sprung off and immediately began to dash about the area to throw off the other units.

the panels covering the blade's edge parted before folding up along the sides of the weapon as he spun it, the blade making a high pitched hum in the air, the blade twisting as Khuurava walked up alongside the Krogan, swinging up between the armoured alien's legs with the intent of bisecting him vertically, the glowing white edge of the blade burning through the armour like a hot knife through butter, the blade's hum turning into a high pitched screech, comparable to that of an electric saw carving through wood, the swing being swift and nonchalant. He had no time to waste with this mercenary. his mission was Saren...

Ecliptor was nailed with several rounds from the Geth as they turned to track him when the synthetic had kicked their comrade. They seemed unperturbed by his quick movements, tracking him far more easily than any organic...

The Krogan howled in pain and collapsed like a puppet whose strings had been cut, a final burst sputtering from his rifle...

The glancing shots did little to stop the speedy synthetic, who slipped around a Geth firing at him without hesitation, constantly shifting his body from side to side to confuse the robotic guard before swerving around it. Ecliptor spun the Geth around, his claws clamping down on its arms so it could not retaliate, magnetic grip ensuring it could not break free, using the unit as cover as the Seeker lined up his next target...

With the explosive issue dealt with and the Krogan eliminated, Khuurava moved to the command console, attempting to identify the outpost's shields and reactivate them. He needed to finish this quickly. There was little time to waste...
