It seems mankind has learned to protect itself better than I thought. Perhaps my job won't be that difficult afterall thought the Sentinel, jets flaring to life as an energy spike caught his attention, accompanied by an increase in the amount of ash in the area surrounding it. satellite imagery revealed the black Dragon he had attacked earlier, retreating from the scene...

As Blight flew further and further away from the scene, a beam of pure white color shot from behind him, and grazed his shoulder. The dragon gritted his teeth in pain as he desended abit. The beam had only grazed him, but it hurt like almost nothing he had ever felt.Whatever it was that made up that beam, he didn't want to encounter it again. With another powerful beat of his wings, the Dragon Lord flew onward...

Back at the beach, the massive creature that had emerged glared at the now very tiny figure flying off into the horizon. He knew he ha hit it with a Plasma beam, but it hadn't hit home. The creature roared up into the heavens as the ground around him continued to explode, more magma and ash being sent up into the air. The ash was being sent up high into the atmosphere, where it would block out the sun.

Not that Bagan cared about it, or that he wanted it to happen. He simply wanted to assert himself as the true ruler of this planet, by showing superiority over the other creatures of this place... While, at the same time, protect the humans of this planet...

The icy dragon continued his flight across the lands, maknig sure to avoid industrialized areas, before settlnig down on the groudn to rest his tired wigns. The membranes were punctured and would need time to heal, but Kori Kahn could not afford to fly much farther. Deciding to make the best of what he has, he lies down and rests again upon the ground...

At this point, The Serag and 'Hunter' had already dug out a tunnel-like shaft with multiple chambers linked to it via miniature tunnels meant for the Serag. The giant space-dragon rested in the center of the massive lair, sleeping gracefully as his minions as many would call the worked tirelessly, some against their own will after succuming to the infection of the first generation...

Occu'thar propelled himself backward with one set of limbs, the sonic roar causing it to stumble as it landed, its senses momentarily dulled...

"A shame. Though I suppose I could try to get some of the old simulators going again..." Talon said, mostly to himself, stroking his chin thoughtfully...

Taking the opportunity, Anguirus charged forward on all fours, head down, and slammed his curved, sharp horn into Occu'thar's gut...

Jackson stopped laughing abruptly, the echoes that lingered in the mech bay being stark contrast to the suddenly serious man, whose tattered cloak wrapped around him. "Simulators?" He asked, as if he too was mulling the thought over. "Yes...yes that would be...nice" He said as a smirk crept onto his face. Perhaps there was a chance to settle his score with the beasts after all...

"Wouldn't be easy. But maybe you'll get the hang of it." Talon continued before suddenly walking off back toward the recreation center...

Two scythe-like appendages stabbed into the turtle-like monster's head as it charged, though it didn't stop it from hitting its mark. Limbs digging into its skull, the hunter pushed down on its back with its other limbs, which were thin enough to fit between the spikes on the creature's back, forcing it to the ground...

"Nothing is ever easy, Talon. Such is the case now more than ever before" Jackson replied as he started to head further down the catwalk, taking the liberty to observe the other towering war machines. The dull metallic clunking of his footsteps lingered in the air as he went on his way.

Anguirus shrugged off the pain and willfully crouched on all fours, then bit one of the hunter's legs with his vice-like jaws, trying to trip the monster up...

Talon made his way into one of the more metallic sections of the installation, where the simulations were held to train new pilots. Some worked already, but otherwise were obstructed by simple but numerous problems, such as corrupted power sources and wires that fell to disrepair...

One set of limbs was lifted off the creature's back before plunging into the ground on either side of the hunter, keeping it from falling. The other set continued to push down on the turtle-like creature's back, slowly cutting into the armor, while Occu'thar's scythe limbs continued stab at his enemy's head...

Anguirus, now with less pressure above him with the staggered monster, lurched upward, knocking Occu'thar's limbs wide with a sudden upward swing of his head. He then lunged forward, clamping his jaws around Occu'thar's shoulder with a vicious bite...

Putting his weight on the other limbs, the hunter fell backward slightly, feet rising up and kicking the turtle monster in the stomach with his powerful legs, ripping it off Occu'thar shoulder, where it was knocked back a fair distance...

Anguirus stumbled back, landing back on all fours, and roared at Occu'thar. He kept himself hunkered down, relying on his super-hard shell to defend against the hunter's scythe arms...

Occu'thar inhaled sharply, before opening its mouth wide, a piercing shriek following, the hunter using its own version of his enemy's sonic roar...

Walking down the platform, Jackson came to another holding station for a metallic titan, but it was radically different from the mech Talon showed him. Its form was long and it had several legs, roughly resembling some sort of centipede or millipede. Its metal hide was a dark silver at the front portion and its rear was a lighter color. The blade tipped legs had a strange sheen, caused by an unseen light source in the mech bay, as did the prominent Y shaped structure on the construct's head. Jackson felt immeasurably puny as he stood between its two serrated mandibles, looking up at a relatively small screen. He assumed the pilot would be situated somewhere up there, in command of a beast and looking down at the world. He imagined himself up there, sitting in front of innumerable consoles displaying all sorts of information in blues, greens and reds. He'd have the controls in his hands, ready to mobilize against a threat. "**** yeah..." He mumbled to himself

Anguirus shook his head in irritation, but seemed less effective than Anguirus' own roar. However, it served to stun him. He stayed crouched, trying to keep his defense up...

a roaring boom tore through the sky as Bagan was suddenly blown off his feet, a massive black Dragon roaring past overhead, a rumbling snarl reverberating through the very air as it passed, arcing round in the distance, The Sentinel having pinpointed the incident and switched targets, locking on the new beast...though this was by no means the first he had seen of this particular monster...

A gold pulse of light cancelled the cyborg wasp's momentum, ceasing his orbit around the Earth. There he lingered for just a few seconds, a still shape miles away from the mostly blue sphere decorated by a glowing silhouette. Another shimmering stream sent the wasp moving the other way, a retrograde orbit that allowed him to observe the ancient dragon fighting his equally ancient foe. "This one...is peculiar" Spinnerax thought as his scarlet gaze peered down from the heavens. He decided to take the opportunity to gauge the dragon and determine its worth to him. All the while, his scanners and data receivers active, combing the planet for signs of threatening monster activity...

Bagan howled in pain as he crashed onto his back, his form still hidden in the smoke and ash. The beast rose up, shaking his head. He turned his gaze to the Sentinel dragon flying in the distance, Bagan's sharp eyes able to see past the smoke and at this new opponent. The wind began to blow, causing the smoke to be blown away, thus revealing the creature himself.

The creature looked like a demonic dragon as it stood upright. Armor made of hardened muscle and bone shielded its tainted brown flesh. Demonic horns stretched out of its head and nose. Its shoulders were laced with bony spurs. It had a long armored tail. As its blood red eyes glowed, Bagan shrieked a monstrous roar. At last, a true fight... He hadn't fought in centuries, so no doubt he had gotten weaker, if his crash landing was anything to go by. But, hopefully, this back dragon would still provide some form of amusement... he would need to rebuild his strength if he were to assert himself as ruler of the Earth...
