Infernus cuts off his fiery assault before he charges forward ferociously. The saurian bellows as he charges, jaws snapping at his foe, ready to kill...

Bagan howled in rage as he collided with Infernus, using his powerful arms to grab the meast's jaws before they could crunch down. using his strength, the once worshiped monster shoved Infernus down into the ground, before he placed a massive foot down on his neck, keeping him pinned as the horns on Bagan's head began to crackle with electricity...

Infernus growls in surprise, before raising his feet and kicking Bagan in the back, sending him off of his neck and stumblnig for a few feet. Getting to his feet and shaking his head to recover, Infernus lunges towards one of Bagan's legs in an attempt to incapacitate him...

Bagan's long and sturdy tail smaked into the side of Infernus's head, sending the fiery titan off his aim. Bagan whirled around, his horns crackling with energy. Plasma churned insid ehis mouth, before he fired his deadly beam at the volcanic saurian...

Infernus bellowed in pain from the plasma beam, looknig for somethnig to use. Spotting it, Infernus quickly picks up a boulder in his maw and tossed it at Bagan before rushing his foe, the side of his leg slightly burnt...

The titanic entity charged as well, bashing the thrown boulder aside and colliding with Infernus. Bagan slashed his right hand down Infernus's shoulder, slicing through his flesh, before he lunged at the saurian's neck...

As Bagan lunged for Infernus' neck, Infernus slammed his head into his foe's side, sending him tumbling down to the earth. Infernus stomps on Bagan's chest, before roaring.

"Surrender, foul beast, and you will die and swift, painless death. Continue this, and your remains will be littered upon my homeland as a reminder of whom dwells here!"

Bagan disn't respond, but his horns once more began to crackle with electricity. The ancient beast swung his arm upward, raking his claws against the side of Inernus's leg, electricity pumping into the wound. This forced the saurian back off of Bagan's chest, allowing him to rise up onto his feet, while firing a Plasma beam at Infernus...

Infernus' whole body twitched visibly from the electrical shock and the Saurian very nearly leaped off Bagan's chest in surprise. Infernus withstood the plasma beam and smashed his tail against Bagan's head, knocking his assault off balance, as he swung the rest of his weight foward to slam his tonnage against his foe....

as Spinnerax's beam collided with the cracking comet, an explosion of gases blew it apart, splitting into 5 pieces, splitting apart, Horus' eyes shimmering as new equations filled the HUD, gauging the risk posed by each chunk. two of the five chunks were a threat to major cities, the others plummeting slowly towards the pacific. The Dragon immediately redirected his aim, locking on one of the chunks as an electronic beacon made up of a stream of coordinates and distances from the two beasts, was sent to Spinnerax, identifying the other dangerous chunk for the space wasp to destroy while Horus dealt with his own target...

Receiving the information, the celestial cyborg set his sights on the stray fragment, his vector powers manifesting within his drills. In a burst of light, the wasp was gone, spiked legs stabbing into the rocky surface of the asteroid piece seconds later. Even smaller boulders lifted from its surface in icy plumes, pieces that would burn up in the upper regions of the atmosphere. Momentum alone was enough to divert the giant fragment, knocking it off of its collision course and sending it into a slow roll- just as Spinnerax's calculations foretold. When he was facing towards Earth, the wasp raised his arms and fired a sustained vector beam, cracks spreading around his anchored feet and gases spewing forth. The immense thrust slowed the chunk, negating its velocity and started moving it away from the planet while it was still relatively weightless...

Meanwhile Horus had shot directly at the meteorite, twisting at the last minute to collide with it feet first, the Sentinel's massive talons sinking into it as the Dragon swung his tail inwards, lodging one of the axe-blade edges in the meteorite as his jets flared brightly, the cyborg using the kinetic force of his collision alongside the thrust to shift the small comet out of the way of the planet, the massive ice-filled shard of stone gradually twisting out of the Earth's path, instead redirecting it towards the sun. several minutes of sustained thrust saw the meteorite tumbling past the planet and towards the shimmering star at the core of the solar system, Horus releasing his grip on the rocky projectile, kicking off of it to leave it to tumble towards oblivion, before turning to eye Spinnerax's progress...

Horus would have seen a blindingly bright flash of light as Spinnerax unleashed his vector beams into the asteroid, ripping himself from its surface and in turn blasting the giant space rock away. The incredible propulsion tossed the shard of ice upwards from the orbital plane, sending it hurtling on a course that would take it out of the solar system all together...

"Nicely done, Spinnerax" came a message from the Dragon as he returned to his position, patrolling in Earth's upper atmosphere, on the farthest reaches of the planet's gravitational pull. the remaining chunks were burning up as they plummeted towards the planet below, none of them big enough to avoid being destroyed completely in the atmosphere...

"The same to you" was the wasp's reply after leveling out over the planet, cancelling his velocities and returning to his drifting state. It was quite strange how this world was steeped in peril. From alien monsters, spacecraft and impact by asteroids, it was a wonder that humanity was able to cling onto its miniscule niche on Earth...

as one of the largest of the asteroids burned away, a large mechanical figure was steadily revealed, gleaming white with the heat as it plummeted, the figure suddenly unravelling, becoming long and streamlined as it hurtled towards the earth, plunging into the blue depths with a large splash, not so much as slowing as it sank towards the sea floor, the two guardians unaware that the shards of what seemed like an asteroid housed something far more complex.....and significantly more dangerous...

Bagan howled as he was sent onto his back by thr sheer bulk of Infernus's body. His horn crackling with energy, another plasma beam was fired upon Infernus, sending the fiery tyrant off Bagan, who charged, the veyr earth quaking beneath his steps...

Infernus growled in pain from the plasma beam. The heat didn't bother him too much, but there was something different about this beast's assault.... it reminded him of that damnable dragon from before. The memory of the dragon made him even angrier. Smoke poured out from his body's pores, before a cloud of toxic smoke burst forth from the Smoke Clad King's maw, blasting Bagan in the face and obscuring his vision long enough for the Saurian beastie to snap his jaws down upon Bagan's shoulderblade....

Spinnerax twisted himself around in the void, scanning the aftermath of the celestial engagement. The combination of his and Horus' power created a blanket of energy signatures with the two deflected asteroids having a higher concentration than surrounding areas. That was to be expected...however one more result intrigued Spinnerax. A distinct readout different from either himself or the guardian dragon, detected just inside Earth's atmosphere. One of the fragments must have had something inside, concealing it in a raw shell that only failed once subjected to the extreme forces of atmospheric entry. The cyborg wasp relayed his finding to Horus. "Possible threat. Judging from last known calculations of that fragment, the unknown must already be submerged by now"

Bagan began to shake about, trying to lossen Infernus's group on him. The giant kaiju slashed his claws down the tyrant's side, forcing him to let go, thus allowing Bagan to turn around, sending his tail right toward Infernus...
