"Sir, Subject 154's suddenly changed course. heading directly towards us. 155's close behind." came a voice on the Comm as the officer neared the elevator that would take him down to the Holding Bay. with an irritated sigh he turned, heading back to the Control Room. "Are you sure?" he asked. "Positive sir. changed direction towards the island, and is descending" said the man. "Sound the alarm. I want the civilians moved to Atlantis immediately. And get those engineers to finish the work with Primarch-1. we need weapons online YESTERDAY. understood?" responded the officer. "yes, sir" responded the man, as he tapped commands into the console. Back on the surface, large metallic panels shifted on the ground, camouflaged to look like the environment, a series of powerful Railguns being charged, magnetic rails alongside the flattened ovular barrels of the cannons shifting, each of the two rails splitting down the middle and running over the top and bottom of the barrel in an X shape, as the generators back at the base fed their reservoirs with energy in order to fuel the powerful magnetic rails, projectiles stored in insulated compartments beneath the cannons, ready to drive the massive Space-Titanium slugs into place if the creature moved too close to the City or Base...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
