King Ghidorah released electricity from his wings to further thin the mass of missiles to manageable levels, literally flying through the rest to get to REX, being surprisingly agile in the air. He fired his Gravity Beams at the mech, trying to knock it out of the sky, or at least damage it...

'Hunter bellowed once more and dove down towards the city, sensing the presence of the Serag already in it. As long as they dealt with the annoyances on the ground, the alien serpent-like creature would got for the real challenge-the other monsters...

REX's continued strafing made it difficult for the large space monster to keep it facing the mech, torrents of plasma fire striking its chest and the base of its necks, while the missiles began to arch far to the side to strike the constantly turning hydra, forcing it to focus its efforts on the missiles or the mech launching them, rather then both...

King Ghidorah continued to try and keep pace with the mech, its wings glowing again as it collected more energy. As the next volley of missiles swerved towards him, King Ghidorah released the electrical energy stored in his wings in every direction around him, letting out a mighty screech as he did so. The wave of energy not only brought down the majority of the incoming missiles, but disrupted the incoming plasma bolts before slamming into REX...

In space, behind Spinnerax as he descended towards the planet, another object approached Earth. The mechanical construct was incapable of scanning the cyborg in the distance thanks to its velocity, but one thing was for certain: this was the only planet in this primitive system that could even hold life, and the only one where the mech's target would logically go. Jets hummed to life, and the mech sped up, rocketing towards the little green-and-blue sphere...

Elsewhere, in a more peaceful area of Japan, a creature lurked in a dark alley, watching ignorant passerby with curious, hungry yellow eyes. He would need to feed again soon, driving his instinctual need to gain energy and grow...

With a flare of his jets, REX's speed increased dramatically, his speed coupled with the slower space monster's ability to turn allowed him to avoid the incoming attack all together, disappearing back into the ruined buildings...

King Ghidorah, in his anger, pursued the mech into the ruined buildings, soaring high above and watching for signs of REX. Whenever he saw the burly mech between the buildings, he pounded the area with his Gravity Beams, intent on taking his foe down for good...

REX began weaving through streets once again, launching copious amounts of missiles in the process, his constant change of direction making both himself and the missiles hard to hit, even with three heads...

King Ghidorah used the lightning from his wings to bring down the missiles that were the biggest threat, letting the rest crash against his armored hide. However, the hydra could quickly see that the fight was going nowhere. For such a large mech, it was fast, and he had difficulty hitting it, but it otherwise was of little consequence to him. Besides, this area of the planet was already blasted into oblivion, so why bother staying? With a trilling screech, the space dragon turned away from his pursuit, heading off into the sky...

Pulses of golden light emanated from the monster's outstretched left arm, the short, low energy bursts of his vector beam gradually adjusting the cyborg's heading. Each shot's strength was precisely calculated to guide the space wasp to his destination. In time the alien was in range to initiate a fly by scan, reticle passing over the orb of blue. Puffs of white floated about above its surface and its atmosphere was a haze over the horizon. Its silver moon was no longer a barely visable speck over the shadowed portion of the globe. Results showed that, while the atmosphere wasnt as abundant with the gases as his homeworld was, the planet's air was majorly comprised of nitrogen and oxygen. Air: its pressence was always a cruel irony for the giant creature. A creature that once took its breath through its exoskeleton on some far off world now had no need for such trivial biological needs. He was a mockery of nature's intent, and now shot across the vacuum of space as if it was nothing. In his travels, the wasp found himself watching the intricacies of life's design from afar. He envied the strange animals he observed and archived within his electronic mind. Their builds were shaped by the environment, their tools of survival adapted over time. His tools of survival- if one could call them that- were instruments of death, the products of the resolute and warbound. He loathed having to use them. The things he had done in the early days...the things that were complete accidents as he got accustomed to his monstrous form, haunted him. He could never forget, the memories archived and stored away. A dark chapter in the cyborg's unnatrual life.

As Spinnerax neared the new world, he fired off his vector thrusters in the direction of his approach briefly, negating his momentum and allowing him to fall into the planet's orbit over the northern hemisphere. The notion that intelligent life had at least existed on its surface was being backed up by readouts from the cyborg's scans. Proximity to the sun, atmospheric content and the large bodies of water made this world ideal for life to develop. It was only when he came across constructs circling the planet, satallites, did he get the confirmation he seeked. The wasp twisted his body about to face the bright blue ocean, his gaze looking down at the planet. The four transparent wings lifted off of his back, extending outwards to catch the brilliant light of the sun and draw in its energy. His reticle zipped back and forth across the surface, before zooming in on one spot. The image was magnified several times fold, so that the wasp had an incredibly detailed view of the world, so much that he could see the crests of individual waves rising and falling. As he drifted across the world, his scrutinizing gaze scoured for the signs of civilization, from the past or present...

As the space monster flew off, REX stopped dead in its tracks, the radom tracking the monster as it went. Talon sighed in relief, not quite used to fighting in such a way, considering the rail gun usually did most of the work for him. The jets had been used a lot, though through the use of staying just above the ground, he had managed to use them to their full potential without overloading them. Had he been forced to retreat, they wouldn't have taken him very far before failing, so he was stuck in the ruined city until they managed to recuperate...

The mechanical object sailing through space passed by Spinnerax, stopping only long enough to make sure he wasn't the mech's designated target, before turning away, heading towards Earth. Unlike the cyborg, he didn't observe the terrain for much of anything, instead tracking a large amount of residual energy near a massive, curved island along one of the continent's east coasts. As it approached the atmosphere, it changed its trajectory towards the island of Japan, tracking the source of the energy: a large impact crater. It looked like Mechagodzilla's target had already made landfall...

The mech went unnoticed by the wasp for the most part aside from an energy signature spike, which was hardly attention grabbing when there were many energy signatures lingering around the planet. All sorts of fields and trails were being detected by the cyborg, all leading down to the planet. As his gaze panned over the seemingly endless blue expanse, a thought occured to him. "Ive come across these power levels before...they are tidings of other beings...monsters like me, cursed are they for being mindless beasts. Or perhaps, blessed are they, for being so blissfully ignorant of the implications of intelligence. Maybe my discovery of this world is too late...maybe life has already been destr-" He was cut off as the reticle passed over a landmass, spotting the buildings and spires of a seaside metropolis. A city! His white, circular reticle expanded to encompass the area. Streams of alien symbols appeared beside it as the wasp took note of the location. Massive walls were erected around it, making this city seem more like a millitary installation, rather than a place of living. Perhaps life in a citadel was the only incling of safety left on this world because of the aliens that found their way to it

It didn't take long for Mechagodzilla to find its target. King Ghidorah wasn't one for subtlety, and was easily spotted flying across the North American continent, towards the Atlantic. The mech descended swiftly from the thermosphere, moving at the optimal angle and speed to quickly catch up with the space dragon. As it neared, though, it could see that its target was beginning to speed up. More than likely, King Ghidorah had seen the mech's approach, as it wasn't trying particularly hard to be stealthy by this point. However, it would take more than sheer speed to escape Mechagodzilla, and the mech made sure it was on the right approach vector to catch up with the hydra...

King Ghidorah had indeed spotted Mechagodzilla, high in the sky, and sped up accordingly. He had just reached the west coast of America when he began to speed up, flying higher into the sky both to throw off Mechagodzilla and reduce the mind resistance around the massive dragon. He needed to find a place to start a fight on his own terms. He didn't want to be forced from the sky before he was ready. KG continued across the country, heading for the opposite coastline. Maybe he'd find something there. It seemed most of this area was sparsely populated, but too open. He'd rather not get in a firefight with the mech if he could help it...

Kori Kahn kept flying, trails of cold energies radiating off of him and appearing akin to smoke. Soon he saw an island off in the distance near the asian mainland. It appeared to be decently comfortable, due to being a good deal north, so Kori Kahn sped up to investigate it.....

The fiery tyrant makes contact with the land. He scans the area and sees no signs of life. The beach was abandoned, and had old ruined structures along the beach. Infernus bellows into the air, announcing his arrival, before thumping forward, each heavy step scorchnig the sands of the earth...

'Hunter took back to the skies after nearly crashing into a building, sending a stream of flames into it in an attempt to burn those inside. One Serag ambushed the pedestrian that passed the alley-way, pinning in to the ground and viciously ripped at the back of his head, spreading the infection to the body...

REX stomped its way over to a seemingly random portion of the city, as the section of ruined road and scorched landscape below it began to descend into the earth itself, revealing a long, very old tunnel going straight down. Eventually the mech came to stop at the bottom of a massive, cavernous room, which was lined with rusted metal plates, clearly in disrepair. REX stepped off the platform, which slowly began to rise once more, making its way over to a space between a few high catwalks, before finally coming to a stop. Placing the mech into a sort of sleep mode, Talon made his way to the back of its "head", where a lift took him down to the mech's midsection, exiting through a hatch that led to one of the catwalks. Craning his neck from side to side, Talon made his way down another service elevator to the bottom of the gargantuan room, making is way toward a large door. In the darkened room, other metallic figures stood like statues, some equal in size to REX, while others were much smaller. This was one of Intuitive Generations' manufacturing facilities. When he escaped with REX when his own workplace was attacked, he fled to this location in hopes of finding safety. This hope was realized: the facility was untouched, as it was based underground, but all of the personnel were gone, leaving Talon alone in the gargantuan underground structure. Thankfully, they left in a hurry, and there was plenty of food and places to sleep, at least for now. They also left behind their projects, which Talon frequently worked on himself, though as of yet, only a few were in working condition...

By the time Mechagodzilla had rerouted his course to pursue King Ghidorah, the space dragon was already on his way to the eastern seaboard. Mechagodzilla was intelligent, but it didn't distract itself with questions as to why the space monster was going where he was. It would certainly find that out soon enough...

King Ghidorah noticed that, as he flew closer to the coastline, civilization seemed to start springing up, and this area was much more lively than the dead city he had landed in. Again, not a good place to stop and fight. He would get too much attention, and the natives may have other mechs like the one he had faced earlier. The golden hydra decided it was best no to take that risk, and continued onward. Maybe he could find somewhere out at sea...

On an island in the centre of the Atlantic...

"We're picking up activity, sir" said a man on one of the consoles in a large room, screens and maps covering the walls, the musical bleeps of computers and clatter of keys audible in the room. "Where?" asked the senior officer in the room, wearing black and white urban-camouflage, a white octagonal shape on his shoulder, the middle of which sported a cobra, the word DHARMA written underneath. "Over the Unites States, sir. More signals coming up in Argentina, Japan and over the Pacific" responded the man at the computer. "Get the Sat-Cams on it, and send word to the Owl. I want to know everything there is to know about them" responded the officer. "Yes sir.....uh...sir, that last one's on an intercept course with the one over the US" responded the man as he clattered away on the console, a second window coming up on his screen, two small icons with the Cobra logo on it seeming to drift out of the main monitoring screen, before splitting up in the second window, one file named Owl and the other named Sat-Cam. "Well isn't that ******* great" grumbled the Officer. "What' the status on Horus?" he asked. "Maintenance. They're working on the PCUs" responded another one of the staff in the room, this one having a screen with various names written into them, the name Horus being the one visible at the moment, a 3D model of a Dragon-like wire-mesh shape circling, small text boxes appearing beside the model, lines extending from them to various spots on the model, naming weapons, enhancements and upgrade reports, the officer sighing irritably in the background. he hated having major threats going round and not having the manpower or firepower to deal with it. he made a mental note to send a complaint to higher management over the issue. They were asking him to do the impossible, and he was starting to feel the consequences of failure first hand...

Meanwhile, deep below the facility, a massive storage bay rattled with life, maintenance and upgrade operations being done to the various weapons Dharma had under their control. in the farthest corner of the building, surrounded by large scaffold-like machines moving back and forth, was a large black Dragon, golden grooves all over it's body pulsing dimly, the beast slumbering, large hoses extending from the beast's nostrils towards large tanks, immense amounts of sedatives being used to keep the beast unconscious, as small cranes on the top of the scaffold-machines moved large mechanical components back and forth from the beast, the components set down on large platforms and lowered to ground level, where they would be taken away to a nearby workshop, technicians and engineers working tirelessly to finish work on the Psychic Control Unit used to keep the Dragon under their control.

Kori Kahn soon began to fly over bay of tokyo, seeing all the shipf off in the distance. However, he soon sees the city of Tokyo.... but not all is well here. Curious as to what is going on, the ice Dragon moves in close to investigate....

Infernus soon reaches a small town in Argentina, citizens being sent running for their lives and dozens of helicopters moving in the evacuate them before the beast could inflict too many casualties. Fire and smoke filled the air, the sheer heat of the flames killing any in the vicinity, and the smoke suffocating any survivors trapped within due to the deadly chemicals within. The Smoke Clad King shoots of beam of concentrated flames into a nearby building, the beam literally melting it from the sheer heat, reducing it to nothing mroe than molten slag in a minute or two. Infernus roars, spitting fireballs into the streets, exploding upon hitting anything in their path....
