King Ghidorah, despite sinking beneath the surface of the ocean, was slowly healing his acid-based wounds as well the ones from Spinnerax's Harbinger blast, thanks to the soothing coolness of the planet's water and the energy of the sun, which still managed to pierce the ocean waves and reach the space dragon. He wouldn't be leaving for a while, but when he did, he would make sure the puny humans, and their fancy machines, would all pay for this transgression...

The titanic black dragon sailed over the sea toward the island of Japan, bolts of electricity flying from the tips of the beast's wings and zig-zagging to the surface of the water. Another powerful roar blasted from the dragon's mouth, this one being heard all across Japan, as well as the islands surrounding it, as the great beast flew upward slightly, the city of Tokyo in its sights...

the roar of engines could be heard as a massive black figure shot from the entrance of the Holding Bay, streaking into the air in a trail of smoke, wings spreading widely as the engines deactivated, the Dragon landing heavily on the ground as he began to examine his surroundings. the titan's gaze fell upon the streak of destruction scarring the island, snarling lowly. usually, such destruction would warrant him utterly annihilating the cause....but he also realised that this thing was responsible for his escape. He would have to show his gratitude when he finally tracked it down. it wouldn't be too hard....all of DHARMA's data was now in his possession...and it wasn't difficult to identify the cause. his attention was brought to the alien Mech that lay not far from the area the attack had struck. he also noted the Brahman cyborg stumbling away weakly....he would deal with it later. "Identify your purpose in regards to this planet, Mechagodzilla" came an electronic message to the Mech...

A cloud of smoke drifted around the wasp once he left the planet, quickly cooling off on the fringe of space. He twisted around with careful pulses of his vector beams, turning to look at the Earth. He extended his wings once more, facing them towards the sun like leaves on a tree. From this distance, the blue planet seemed so beautiful, so tranquil and without flaw. A welcoming beacon of life among the dead worlds sharing its star. He knew all too well that the surge of power that he unleashed on the island would be a terrible reminder of his abillity to destroy. The beings who inhabited the island, to build their base there...he was surely the bringer of death for many of them.

"A being such as myself...should not exist" He thought as he stared down at the planet. He saw saw dark clouds looming just over the western curveture of the planet, glimpsing flashes of light from within. "Even my greatest efforts for good lead to suffering"

The message triggered Mechagodzilla's awakening, and his eyes flashed to life, before the mech slowly got to its feet. After a short scan of the new arrival, it replied: Purpose: Tracking and destruction of alien lifeform known as "King Ghidorah." Identification requested.

Horus' eyes narrowed on the machine for several moments."Identify King Ghidorah" came Horus' response, the message accompanied by images of both the Wasp and the Dragon that were present with it, a dim fiery yellow glow seeming to emanate from the Dragon's mouth, electricity crackling along the nose horn, energy stored within from previous missions leaving his reservoirs nearly at maximum capacity, the solar energy being absorbed only further charging the beast...

Identification requested, Mechagodzilla replied curtly, unmoving, staring blankly at Horus. Information will we supplied accordingly.

The large black dragon began to slow his flight down from Mach 3 to a more leisurely pace, lightning still arching from his wings to the surface of the ground. By now, he was flying over the city of Tokyo. The dragon stopped, before he began to descend into the city. These structures around him... there was no doubt that these were built by the dominant species of this planet... But what kind of creature could build something like this, especially if, from what he had seen with the seagull, most of the local population were but a fraction of his size? It puzzled Blight greatly. The massive dragon landed on all fours in a small clearing in the city. The beast's massive wings folded up against his sides. This would be a perfect place for him to begin...

"Horus. Sentinel and guardian of this planet. Identify King Ghidorah" responded Horus, eyes locked on Mechagodzilla, weapons primed in case of hostilities. The Dragon was simultnaiously scanning the internet for signs of other monsters known and identified as hostile, scanning for sightings of damage done, a series of results coming up, the Dragon cross-referencing it with DHARMA's own data...

Explanation valid. King Ghidorah is known throughout the cosmos as a threat to planetary life. My creators have assigned me the explicit purpose of stopping him. Evidence strongly suggests he is targeting this planet for sterilization, Mechagodzilla replied quickly.

The Serag in the city of Tokyo were quite rampant as they found more and more to strengthen the horde. They kept on going until they were killed by something, still being watched over from the air by 'Hunter'...

As Blight surveyed the city he was in, he noticed a large green dragon up in the air, one that he had failed to notice when he was coming in. The black dragon tilted his head as he once more spread his wings. So not all the lifeforms on this planet were tiny... The Dragon Lord thought to himself as he flew up into the air. He had been assigned a mission, to eliminate the local population on this planet to make way for his own species. He had decided he would spare the tiny creatures of this planet, since, more likely than not, they wouldn't pose a threat to his kind. However, this dragon...

Blight eyed 'Hunter' as he let out a roar at the dragon, challenging it to a fight. All the large beings of this planet, those roughly his size or greater, would be exterminated...

'Hunter' turned, roared at Blight in response to distract him with the concussion-like pain that would be caused from the loud screech and shot off away from the dragon, leaving the Serag to fend for themselves for the time being. His injuries would need to heal before he could fight again, so he ignored all the possible threats he had or would encounter...

The Raptor-like creature had managed to ambush a lone Serag and kill it, dragging it into an alleyway to feed while the Japanese military began their attack on the little creatures to try and exterminate the threat quickly and efficiently...

Blight shook his head in pain, the massive dragon having not expected such a powerful roar from the beast. The giant dragon flew off after Blight, fire forming in the space dragon's mouth....

'Hunter' was just too fast for his opponent and was already nearly out of sight by the time Blight began to chase him. The Serag swarm, too strong already, with even more coming from the ocean with each moment, continue to infect those in the city. The ones that had been attacked very early on had already transformed into the Serag and strengthened their numbers even more...

Blight looked around as the flames in his mouth died down. It seemed like his opponent had fled already... No matter. Sooner or later, he would come across him again... for now, this place would be his new base of operations... Blight slowly descended back onto the ground, lightning striking from his wings to the ground, zapping several Serag as the beast landed on the ground...

"Then complete your mission" responded Horus simply, glowing eyes staring intensely into the mech's mechanical ones...

I am at an impasse, Mechagodzilla replied. I am unable to operate in aquatic environments with the effectiveness necessary to kill King Ghidorah, even in his current state.

"You are incapable of attacking at range?" questioned Horus, somewhat surprised. the whole point of a mech was to have the speed, toughness and ranged abilities of technology, in addition to the melee capabilities of biological structures...to completely lack ranged equipment was...odd, to say the least. that...or this was a ploy to fool Horus in order to stab him in the back....
