"The TGDA manufacture them. The Trando-Geo Droid Alliance. Grievous is the head of the Thresher Maw there, so to speak" explained Khuurava, before making his way closer, not wanting to expose himself directly. As much as he liked the idea of netting a job with as high a pay check as someone like Grievous could probably provide, he didn't want to risk getting on the wrong side of the Blood Pack unless he was sure he'd get one. The key to being a good Merc in the Terminus Systems, and everywhere else, for that matter, was to have as few enemies as possible, while still being capable of doing your job without repercussions...

"Well, if you know so much about the guy, why don't you go talk to him?" Arrak replied, nodding towards Grievous...

"Odds are he heard everything we did. After what happened in the Afterlife, I'm not really sure its such a good idea walking up to him and striking up a conversation when he could very well be planning to massacre all the Blood Pack standing around down there" responded Khuurava with a shrug...

"That I have," Grievous said, cutting off Arrak before he could reply, though he wasn't looking at them. "If you would kindly stay out of sight, I will give you a proposition..."

"I have paid an exorbitant amount of money for the information on this transaction," Grievous hissed. "Now, what do YOU want? I am only so reasonable..."

"Depends on the job. The bigger the job, the costlier it'll obviously be" said Khuurava simply, one eye always on the Blood Pack and their surroundings....just in case...

"Hmm...Potentially putting me on the wrong end of the Blood Pack. Risky job. Though I suppose I could do it for say...30,000 credits?" offered Khuurava, already reaching behind his back, his sniper rifle extending and arming itself in preparation...

"At least it's not 300,000..." Grievous muttered. "Very well. Consider it done. We will provide backup if necessary." Arrak merely shrugged, checking his Phaeston in preparation. The Vorcha and Varren would be pushovers. The Trandos, on the other hand, were another matter entirely. Though they lacked shields (though Garrsk no doubt had a Barrier), their thick armor made up for it...

Nodding to the General, Khuurava immediately moved, taking a position several feet away, at the opposite edge of the railings, to pull away attention from Grievous and his droids, before getting into position, crouching down and taking aim, his eye locked on the Trandoshans, knowing they would be a tougher target and wanting to eliminate them before they had the chance to get close. putting a hand to the side of the rifle, he disengaged the safety, the entire weapon activating, energy being put into the gauss rifle and the scope auto-correcting itself to match the limited trajectory the shot would have, as Khuurava balanced the tip of the rifle on the railing, letting the Bi-pod unfolded and placed beyond the railing, so that the weapon wouldn't be blown back by the limited though present recoil. Once Arrak was in position, he pulled the trigger, a resonant boom being heard as the depleted Uranium slug streaked across the docking bay, colliding squarely with the head of one of the Trandoshans...

The round tore through the unfortunate Trando's unprotected skull, toppling him instantly. "Sh*t!" Garrsk shouted. "Sniper! Get down!" As the Battlemaster dove behind a storage crate, he pointed at his other guard and the Geth. "Get the Varren up to that balcony and tear those b*****ds apart!"

Arrak, lacking any suitable sniping weaponry, was moving back down to the bottom floor to flank the Blood Pack, only to meet up with a trio of charging Varren, followed by a pair of Vorcha overseers. "Crap..." he muttered, quickly backpedaling up the ramp he came down, firing his rifle all the way. Two of the Varren were cut down by the hail of gunfire, before the third got too close for comfort. Fortunately, with a swift stab from his left Omni-Blade, dispatched the creature swiftly. However, Arrak was still forced to retreat as the Vorcha opened fire on him, followed by several others and another group of howling Varren...

Agrippa soon gained acess to the console, in which he found more interesting files to examine. Many were video files, though most of them did not have very effective names, and when the Phantom attempted to access them, they would refuse to open. So he instead managed to rip the audio from one of the events, and decided to listen to it himself.

Loud groans were audible in the background, as if someone was in intense pain whereever this recording took place (Agrippa assumed it was in this very room). A loud, obnoxious beeping noise nearly drowned out the being's groans of pain, and soon, he began to hear voices that were near the source of recording.

"The test subject's vital signs are going haywire! Doctor, get him stabilized!"

"I'm doing all I can!" The doctor replied. "But his cells seem to be reacting violently to the injections we've given him! Something's happening!"

The groans of pain in the background soon became wheezes of silent suffering, the test subject clearly unable to keep himself breathing.

"Doctor! Do something!"

"There's nothing I can do!" the doctor shouted in reply. "Nothing's having any effect on him!"

Suddenly, the wheezes began to become a gurgling sound, followed by what sounded like the tearing of flesh. The gurgling became deeper, becoming a slight whimper, before it warped into a nightmarish roar.

Agrippa nearly tore himself free from the console from the noise, horrified by it, but he nonetheless soldiered on. He probably would not have enjoyed watching this in its video form...

The roar soon subsided, beign replaced by a low, guttural growl and the sound of writhing tendrils, along with somethnig banging on glass. All the beings in the room gasped in fear, before the voice of the doctor was heard.

"This is no time to record! Turn that damn thing off!"

The tape then ended. Agrippa only became more confused by this. Why couldn'y he view the video files? Who were the beings he heard? And, most importantly- what the hell made those noises? Prometheus? Something else? Agrippa didn't know...

As the Vorcha cleared the stairway, Khuurava shifted his aim on them, another powerful boom being heard as a Vorcha was blown off it's feet, its upper torso unrecognisable, its relatively brittle frame easily destroyed by the gauss rifle's immense power. The weapon folded as Khuurava shifted weapons, his assault rifle unfolding in his hands with a metallic clank as a burst of rounds was unleashed on the Varren, the orange trailed, light blue plasma bolts tearing apart several of the dog-like reptilians as the Khurakra rose from his crouched position, making his way towards the stairway to give support to his new comrade...

"You two, assist the freelancers," Grievous growled, two of his Commandos nodding and moving towards Arrak's position alongside Khuurava...

The Blood Pack troops scattered at first, four well-armed soldiers being a bit much for so few Vorcha to handle, until the Trandoshan guard, Gralssk in hand, entered the fray. Arrak was forced to dive to the side as a cluster of lethal flechettes pierced the wall behind him, and the second shot slammed into the first Commando droid's chest, piercing its body armor and sending the mech flying backwards. The second Commando took cover across from Arrak, behind a stack of yellow-striped barrels, occasionally taking potshots at the Blood Pack soldiers. The Trando's armor, however, shrugged off the scattered shots, using the Vorcha as living shields if necessary. To compound the problem, the Geth Prime rounded the corner as well, deadly plasma-like rounds slamming into the walls and cover of the mercs, a glowing blue Combat Drone hovering alongside its massive frame...

snarling, Khuurava dove behind one of the large metallic crates along the hall, switching to his gauss rifle again, , though disengaging the scope's zoom as he pointed the barrel through a crack between the crates, pulling the trigger, a deafening boom being heard as the powerful depleted uranium slug slammed into the Geth Prime's optics, Khuurava immediately pulling back behind the crates and putting away his rifle, once again drawing the assault rifle. It was times like these that he missed having a Quarian at his side. the focused wireless hacking he was capable of could have temporarily disabled the Prime, to give him a chance to thin the ranks of the enemy force...

Amazingly, the Prime was undamaged. It staggered from the shot, and its shields dropped, but the synthetic itself was unharmed. In response, the Prime uttered a stuttering roar, focusing its fire on Khuurava, obviously considering him the real threat...

Arrak fired an Incineration round around the corner of his cover, the flaming projectile smashing into a Vorcha and disintegrating it. The furious Trando brushed the ashes of his former off his armor and charged forward with a mighty growl, using the Prime as cover as he moved in close. The second Commando quickly rolled from cover and opened fire, the blaster bolts smashing into thick plate armor, but not slowing their wearer down. As the merc got close, he smashed the bayonet on his shotgun's barrel into the unfortunate Commando's head, taking it out instantly. As he tossed the husk of a droid aside, Arrak barrled into him, knocking him against the wall. The two struggled, the Trando's position making it difficult to overpower his Turian aggressor...

Glancing at the ceiling over the 'battlefield', Khuurava noticed one of the large lights illuminating the hallway, directly above the Prime. Deciding to take a chance, he took aim from behind cover, firing three rounds at it, an explosion of sparks and light raining down on the prime as that spot was plunged into darkness, the only light coming from lights further down the hallway. exploiting the distraction, Khuurava sprung from his cover powerfully, launching himself over the cover as his assault rifle rained a torrent of searing plasma bolts on the prime before he landed in a roll behind another large container. "DESTROY THE GETH!" roared the Khurakra to his comrades as he used his new position to pick off the last of Garrsk's Vorcha support, small bursts of plasma fire hitting them systematically...

The Trando, with a slight advantage in the darkness, quickly overwhelmed a temporarily startled Arrak, throwing him to the floor and raising his clawed foot to crush the Turian's skull. The merc suddenly stiffened, however, as a blue, glowing energy blade seemed to grow from his chest. After a moment, the blade retracted, and the Trando toppled to the side, a burning hole in his chest. Grievous stepped forward, a green and blue Lightsaber pair casting eerie glows around the cyborg...

The Prime didn't seem particularly crippled by the darkness, and steadily strode forward, firing intermittently at exposed targets, including another Commando. A pair of rounds from the Geth's weapon quickly tore the droid apart, before it turned its attention to Khuurava...

exploiting the disabled shield, Khuurava bolted out from behind cover, his fire focused the entire time on the Geth's optics, attempting to disable it sufficiently for him to go in and finish it...
