"Organic babble is almost as interesting as it is time consuming" Ecliptor commented, clicks and low hums punctuating his voice as he said it.

"Convenient...But what's the catch?" responded Khuurava with a curved brow...

"None," Bailey said with a shrug. "Those scanners can pick up DNA from skin flakes. You can't fool them. You're you, not some synthetic infiltrator or whatever it is that crawled up the Council's collective butts and died. Why wait in long lines and fill out a mass of useless hardcopy paperwork to get to the same place? The Council does everything 'by the book.' They've had thousands of years to write it. Sometimes things need to be done without a committee vote..."

Ecliptor found the captain's words indicative of how society was structured aboard the station. He recorded the statement and then made a note; "Possible organic hierarchy based establishment. Pending further investigation"

"Fair enough. Suppose it does save us both time" responded Khuurava with a nod, satisfied with the answer...

After Arrak nodded his assent, Bailey tapped a few controls. "There. I just saved you about nine days of running around." Arrak looked out at the busy streets just a few paces away, in what was known as the Zakera Ward. "What's the easiest way to get to the Presidium from here? We have to, uh... meet someone up there." Bailey nodded back at the checkpoint. "Head back through the security checkpoint and take a public shuttle." Arrak nodded. "Sounds good to me." "Anyway, is there anything else you need?" Bailey asked. "Or can I get back to work?"

"Thanks for the assistance" hissed Khuurava with a nod, before turning to head for one of the shuttles...

Arrak turned to leave as well, leaning over to Khuurava. "Sorry about that," he whispered. "Didn't expect the registry to screw me over like that."

When the others were gone, Ecliptor made his way around the captain's desk, his objective being Bailey's console. He looked over the man's shoulders to the screen, skimming what was on the monitor. "This one requires this data storage unit" he said after a few moments of silent observation...

Bailey spun around in his chair, staring curiously up at Ecliptor. "Aren't you those two's assistance mech? What would you need my computer for? You're a VI, right? Access the Extranet yourself." He shook his head in irritation. "Stupid buggy programs..."

"Thank you," Ecliptor stated in reply, one clawed hand shooting out to cover the man's mouth, preventing a shout or any alerting noise that the man could muster in the few seconds of life he had left. The other struck his throat with great speed and force, crushing his windpipe, Ecliptor easing the man from his chair and to the floor, restraining him as his consciousness drained away...

Even as Ecliptor made his move, the other C-sec officers nearby all stood and opened fire with their pistols. At such close range, missing was highly unlikely. Already, a general alert was sounded throughout the Citadel's systems that an aggressive AI was loose on the station...

Ecliptor took cover behind the desk, propping the now dead captain up to use as a meat shield. After several shots were fired, ricocheting about the room with loud twanging, the Seeker launched the body into the air with a kinetic pulse to draw fire while he flipped himself over the desk, rifle in hand, a quick shot taking out one of the guards with unmatched precision...

"Eh. **** happens" started Khuurava as he got into the shuttle, gunfire sounding off in the background as he closed the door on it. "Great" grunted the Khurakra irritably as he glanced back. "We've done nothing to acknowledge him as ours. With a bit of luck, we can pass it off as him happening to be present when we were" he added, explaining the situation off as he set a destination, intent on leaving Ecliptor there...

The remaining two C-sec officers ducked behinds their desks, not wanting to risk firing on the Seeker now that he was in the open, near civilians. Many of them had scattered from the area, but it would take a while for the entire Ward to be cleared. Locking it down, however, would be a much easier task, to prevent the synthetic from escaping further into the station. The Turian Sergeant at the checkpoint sprang through the doorway, armed with a electrical stun weapon. Normally pointless against an armed criminal, but it would be much more effective against a mech. The officer raised his weapon, not bothering to give the AI any warning before he fired. The electrical pulse was very short-range, but had a very wide area of effect, making it difficult to avoid...

"I blame you," Arrak muttered. "Just get us to the Presidium..."

Ecliptor was seconds away from crushing the remaining personnel with a kinetic blast so that their cover would have been their doom. Detecting the electromagnetic emissions from the checkpoint guard, Ecliptor instead unleashed the pulse into the floor, sending himself flipping end over end until he slammed into the ceiling, magnetic clamps keeping him latched on. Now in an upside down crouch, the Seeker turned his aim on the Turian and fired a slug at him...

The Turian ran to the side, his shields easily absorbing the grazing blow. He fired again, while the two officers in the office fired their pistols from their own vantage point. They needed to keep the synthetic distracted until reinforcements arrived. Several other officers, armed and ready, had already emerged from other rooms around the checkpoint, firing their weapons at Ecliptor as well...

Dodging the electrical barrage by allowing himself to drop to the floor, Ecliptor twisted about in the air, landing in a crouch before launching backwards through the air, arcing his body as he did. At the apex of his jump, he pointed toward one of the pistol wielding guards, a quick shot dispatching them before he came down behind the desk in a ducking position, rifle already pointed to the other just a few feet off to his side.

The Turian officer had tracked Ecliptor's movement, another electrical pulse slamming into the Seeker's back only a second after he had landed...

Escaping the Seeker was a horrifying cacophony of synthesized sounds, the electricity visibly traveling through the robot's body...but gathering in his glowing palm. In a flash of light, the guard nearest him was sent hurtling into the ceiling with volts rushing through his body, causing his limp body to jitter and twitch when he fell back to the floor, Ecliptor standing to face the others, energy jumping dangerously between his fingers...
