E-War Requests

Postby Doc 42 » Fri Aug 24, 2007 7:02 pm

Here you can request E-wars. They need at least three people to start and if there is already too many e-wars, one has to be ended.

An e-war is, in essence, an rpg just with more flexible rules and less empthisise on quality. An e-war is generally more based around fighting and general destruction, hence the name, but e-wars can be for other things aswell. Such as expairmental rpgs. A good example of this is the Space e-war, which had no set starting worlds or races and nearly every aspect was customisable by each player.

Your average e-war would be like Godzilla e-war, which is based around fighting yet also the characters who are involved in these fights, so the no killing characters rule comes into play.

Pure hardcore e-wars then come in the form of RPGT e-war, which is currently the only one and will probably stay that way. Here, fighting is the only cause, with no rules set to content at all, hence the amount of severed heads rolling around it.

I mentioned a Warhammer 40k E-wars. It would be set in the 41st millennium and you could play as the Eldar, Orks, Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines, Tyranids, Imperial Guard, Tau Empire, Necrons or Dark Eldar.

here's an idea to try out: custom species. some people wish they could add their own creations to MH, right? so why not give that option here. as a downside, if the dragon is very powerful [as in stronger than Fatalis or Lao] it MUST have a weakspot that causes major effects on it [for example a dragon whose right 2 legs are weak. you hit them enough, it falls]. the large dragons [bigger than Fatalis] are slow but powerful. the small Dragons [half the size of Fatalis or less] are fast, but not as powerful. characters must be balanced, but are otherwise free to use in any way you like. magic is, of course, not allowed [in the MHEW, we'll disregard the Fatalis' abilities to summon lightning and or fireballs, as they would most likely be by magical means, which would be best kept out of the MHEW to avoid powerplaying]. opinons on the idea?

thats a very good idea, kp. we can tone down the power of crimson fatalis and white fatalis while letting them keep some of their none powerplaying abilities. people could add any different colored monsters they want for any species. as for weakspots, thats another good idea. the weakspot of fatalis, crimson fata and white fata is the head.

why just stick with MH species? if you're creative enough to create your own dragon/wyvern...etc, while still keeping it fair and without powerplaying abilities, go ahead! Creativity is the word to keep in mind most on this site. if you have a good idea, use it!
