Stripetail hadnt seen or herad any indication that a dnagerous creature was near her location and the wind bore no scents that might worry her. She gave her ears a twitch, then lowered her head to drink from the stream once again.

Moon, the High Pure One, was watching his camp with a smirk on his face. His Clan of purely white cats was completely pure once again. Now that that...monstrosity...was dead or stolen. It was Moon who convinced the cats to form Clans based on the color of fur. It was too bad that he couldn't convince brown and tortoiseshell cats of the same thing. The forest was ruled by the Clans once more--there was no place for cats that didn't fit into any of the Clans.

Stripetail took one last drink from the stream, then set off at a walk. After wlaking for a few minutes, she picked up some familiar scents on the wind, which was gently blowing in her direction. Curious, the cat began to follow the scents, intending to at least see what the owners of the uknown scents were doing in the same area with the familiar scents.

Fireeye looked about. She was tracking her sister Sunpelt. "Leave it to her to get lost." She thought miserably. She was the younger sister, yet acted like the older one. "Dad didn't have to put up with this!!" She thought hottly.

Stripetail followed the scents silently, Remaining alert for danger as well. a short while later, she could see the owners of the scents even though she hadn't stepped into view. She recognised some of them as her old clan mates, but recognised shadelight as well, remembering to have seen her when thunderclan had lived in the valley. Stripetail walked into plain sight of the other cats and meowed to fireflower:"Firestar! Its been some time since i've seen you."

One of the kits squealed in shock as the cat fell into the camp, and instantly Demontalon was on her feet, snarling a warning. She unsheathed her hooked claws, the fur on her shoulders bristling and her unusually long fangs gleaming in the fading light. She was more than ready to fight.

Stripetail glanced in demontalon's direction in suprise when she heard the pure black cat snarl, but could see that the cause of the aggressive sound form demontalon was an uknown cat that the other cats clearly hadn't seen earlier.

Sunpelt slowly picked herself up. "And they say cats land on thier feet." Sunpelt muttered. Turning to the snarling cat. "Its not what it looks like" she told Demontalon.

She advanced, slowly backing the intruder into a corner--trapped between the angry black she-cat and a few curious but ready to attack ThunderClan cats. Darkspot had glanced up at demontalon's snarl and watched as sunpelt was now in a corner. He spotted stripetail through the side of his left eye, but ignored her for now and focused on watching the intruder, ready to attack if it tried to attack demontalon.

By now, a couple of ShadowClan cats had joined in. Robinflight, Vixenpaw and Emberpaw, namely. The small ring of cats enclosed around Demontalon and the intruder. The pure black cat allowed her unusually long front claws to scrape the earth, enjoying the soft grating sound they made. "How about we make a deal," Demontalon snarled. "You give me a description of who you're looking for, and then you can go."

Cold Eyes walked behind the distracted cat, slamming his jaws into the scruff at the back of her neck. The old tom warrior dragged the cat out of the camp and into the forest, where, after a strong, blunt paw to the head knocked it out
