Yoruichi didn't move, and her features didn't disappear. She sat there for a while, just listening to the sounds of the night, her glowing eyes scanning every shadow for a threat.

Two tenticles sprouted from the building's debry. latching on to walls as Jake was shot forward, pulled at a high speed, he collided with th Hornet his feet planted into it's metalic face as he lepped off of it, the force sendng the robot to the ground. "YOU!" he growled. Leaping ontop of the robot. "Mr. Scales didn't know jack, but you... You were created by the twisted scientist himself!" A tenticle reached around Hornet's face, a few heavier ones were holding the robot down. "Why are you after me."

Scaletail looked around, seeing something odd in the next alley. He cocked his head. It looked like the girl, but he couldn't make out the features very clearly in the darkness. His eyes weren't made for that.

"Keep away!" Yoruichi shouted, and the flames flared a little brighter. "I...I'm not safe!" Her taloned wings wrapped around her for shelter.

Scaletail stepped back in surprise. Demon? Maybe not, but she definitely wasn't human. He pulled his hood off, hissing, "Says you."

Yoruichi looked up at the figure, her catlike green eyes wide. The flames flared once more, sheltering the young girl in their midst. Her wings opened and lifted behind her, the ivory talons glinting cruelly in the flickering light. No one watching could tell the girl wasn't in control of her actions. No...she hadn't learned to control her powers yet.

The Hornet stopped struggleing after a moment, his visor slideing open to show he wasn't planning to fight. He growled deeply, still angry at Scaletail "After you? I thought you were dead... If I remember correctly, I killed you myself... The last I checked there wasn't a limit on how many a**holes could fit into hell...."

Scaletail looked at Yoruichi, shaking his head. "That metal-headed idiot has got to learn a bit more about emotions. Not even a robot can think straight when its angry. You won't tell anyone what you saw tonight, will you?"

"N-no...I won't," Yoruichi stammered. I can't even tell anyone what's wrong with me, she thought, blinking as a spark flew past her face.

Jake's stare was cold and angry. He forced harder on the tenticles. "Yes you tried to kill me, seeing how "smart" you are I suspected you'd send someone to finish the job." The tenticle Jake had around the Hornet's head began to swirl around, as if threatining the robot. "Anything else." he growled.

"Good," replied Scaletail. He pointed a claw at Yoruichi. "Don't let me see you around that shop again, got me? I don't want to kill you, but I'll have to if they find out your alive."

The Hornet hissed, his iris's pulseing "Yes as a matter of fact... Get the hell off me." Jakes image was distorted in his hud, dual iris's performed badly at short range, it was hard for his processor to combine the images. The result was half of Jake being in normal colour, the other half being entirely thermal based.

"Okay." Yoruichi blinked at the claw, curious, but still afraid that the flames would lash out at the one who'd saved her life.

Sclaetail nodded and turned away, heading back to the shop. He mumbled to himself, "Damn kids and robots..."

"Not amuseing." Jake growled. The Tenticle tightened, as if to finish it, but then seized, it pulled up, almost being absorbed into his flesh. As with the other tenticles. He lept off of Hornet. Letting the Robot get up.

The hornet put both palms onto the ground, lifting himself into the air and pulling his feet beneath him before standing up. He said curiously "So if I'm not trying to kill you... and I didnt send anyone to try kill you... who IS trying to kill you?" Now that he was further away from Jake, a wealth of information flooded in, small targets marking where his heart and brain was. A slight error in his database, probably caused by the symbiote, accidently pinned the location of the brain in Jakes backside. The Hornet was about to correct it when he decided it was probably right anyway.

Gaara sat on the fire escape, looking down at the blazesforming around the young girl, a pair of demonic wings visible on her back. "It seems i'm not the only one with unwanted powers" he said, rather relaxedly, his voice echoing in the alley slightly...

Yoruichi looked around in alarm, her eyes slightly narrowed. Still, the fire burned, protecting her, shielding her...cutting her off from harm. "Who are you?" she called.

"Thats what I was hopeing to know by now." Jake growled. He narrowed his eyes at the robot, a week or so ago it nearly killed him, and now he was actually talking to it.

"Call me...Gaara" said the voice as Gaara seemed to disappear from the the fire escape, a small dust devil forming deeper in the alley, the sand within collecting to form the lord of the sands himself...
