Ulthwé smiled. "You could call them that...life has taken much from me, but in return, I gain a greater sight, to see past the veil of the waking world. I use this to guide my clan and my kin. All Farseers before me have done the same." the she-cat responded, amused, before turning her sightless eyes toward the newcomers. "Ah, you've finally returned. I trust the savage has been dealt with?" Ulthwé questioned, expression suddenly serious.

"For the death of our friend and for all the others who have fallen at it's claws" growled Wraith calmly, taking note of the strange eyes but not reacting to them, despite the fact they were somewhat unnerving...

Demontalon got to her paws and padded forward to touch noses with her brother. "Sunstorm would be proud of you," she murmured. He rested his chin on her head for a moment, breathing in her scent. "Of us," he mewed.

Ulthwé nodded. "You must be Shadowsoul...leader of the remnants of the old clans. I hope I am not mistaken." she meowed thoughtfully. "So that's why she came along..." one of the Nova Clan cats hissed to another, having wondered why their leader had joined them in dealing with the rogue...

"You would be correct with that assumption. And you might be?" he inquired...

"I am Ulthwé. I guide Nova Clan through the chaos of life." the she-cat responded, still sitting calmly.

As Swift reached a branch low enough where he could hear what was being said without straining, he realized this was going to be an awkward situation. Wait - I know them, he thought, his eyes widening. Fireflower...and Flamesight. And Demontalon, Blazeheart, and Shadowsoul. He looked up at the gray tom, and as he did he caught sight of what he'd missed before. Wings. His heart clenched. So it's Smokestorm. But I don't know the others... He took in a deep breath. Come what may, I'm sick of staying in this tree! Going on courage alone, he climbed down the last few fox-lengths to the ground and braced himself for the attack that might come.

Demontalon turned, hearing a rustling noise, and almost had a heart attack. Bloodspill?! she thought, eyes widening almost comically. Then she blinked and looked again. No. The eye color's wrong, the scars aren't there, and this cat doesn't have wings. And it's a tom. But aside from that, the cat who'd just come down the tree ahead of Smokestorm - who, she now realized, she should've noticed was up there - could've passed for a reincarnation of the battle-scarred she-cat. She was trying to put a name to the face, but somehow it kept slipping away.

"Well met, Ulthwé, Novaclan" he growled, nodding towards the she-cats with Ulthwé. "I'm curious though...what business do you have by the Moon Pool?" meowed the tom inquiringly. could it be they had passed a border and not even realised it? he hadn't detected any scent markers for the borders on the way here, that he knew for a fact. perhaps Novaclan employed a similar tactic to his own, doing out-of-territory patrols to ensure the security of the areas outside of their borders, minimising the risk of intruders...he didn't know, but he intended to find out. he was drawn from his moment of thought by the new comer, whose appearance somewhat surprised him. the tom looked eerily similar to the cat that had introduced him to Thunderclan as a friend...Bloodspill...however, many features were abscent....he'd find out who it was however...

So they don't recognize me...or maybe they do, but not exactly for me, Swift thought, sitting down beside the tree and wrapping his tail over his paws. He knew very well how much he looked like his mother. I wonder...what will be the first question that they ask? He kept quiet, not interfering, only watching.

"Our business was with the rouge. Their filth has been inching closer to our clan every day. A patrol overheard the end of the fight, arriving too late to intervene. Be it rogue or our own kin, we would not let such an injustice go unpunished. My involvement...was in hopes of a meeting such as this." Ulthwé responded with a smile, ear twitching as yet another newcomer had arrived, the she-cat having developed her other senses to compensate for her sight...

Demontalon turned her attention back to Ulthwé, keeping one ear trained on the black cat who looked so familiar. A question fizzed at the tip of her tongue, but she kept quiet, not wanting to interrupt.

Smokestorm, seeing the gathering below him, didn't bother landing stealthily as he reached the ground, looking around. "Uh... did I miss something?" he mewed.

The rats squeaked in fiendish glee and attacked the dead rogue, gnawing at his flesh with zeal. The largest of them squealed, "Tonight-night, we feast-feast!"

"So i take it this was for official purposes only? to meet one of the leaders of the Clans?" growled Wraith curiously. the newcomer would be dealt with in due time...but for now, he had to deal with the more important of the two issues; Novaclan and it's Leader...

Ulthwé nodded. "We all needed time to recover from the suffering our kind has experienced. It is my hope that our clans can coexist without a constant threat of violence, even if it means we avoid each other." she responded, suddenly serious once again.

Insolitus paused to catch his breath. "There," he meowed, pointing with his nose to a round pool at the bottom of an incline. "That's it."

Fireflower gently flicked Smokestorm's flank with her tail, trying to tell him to be quiet for now.

"There was a time where i had hoped to unite All the Clans, or at least forge relations between them so well that one Clan's members could visit another's and be welcomed rather than warned to leave. i eventually managed to succeed, though too late to save many, in the form of the Clan i now represent as a Leader. Stormclan. If you were to hold by a vow that you and all those under your leadership would never do anything to harm the relations between our Clans, i would be honoured to have you join our...alliance, be it in the form of one Clan, or merely as neighbouring clans. What you wish to do is up to you, and, if you like, you may have time to think of my offer" growled Wraith...

"A truce would benefit us both, yes. So long as you promise us the same respect, you are free to visit our territory." Ulthwé responded with a gentle smile, glad that such a tense situation had resulted in such good fortune for them both...

The trickling of a running stream reached Snowstar's ears. Riverstone trotted behind her father, trying to imitate his stature and walk to match his strides. Mudswirl snickered every now and again when her sister tripped over the wayward rock in her way...

"I can assure you we will not be the ones to break the truce that we've made here today. Our Clan members come from generations of cats who have seen and have suffered by war against their bretheren. by this point, all we wish for is peace. there are enough outside threats to worry about without fighting amongst eachother like fools. if it isn't too much to ask, could you point me in the direction of your camp? i'd like to know where to go if i find need of a discussion with you, but with the day nearing it's end i need to take my friends here home" growled Wraith...

Lightstorm bit his lip to keep from smiling at Riverstone's antics. Hawkclaw kept pace with him, taking in her surroundings as if trying to memorize the route. The long-haired white tom walked with his head and tail up, enjoying the outing with his family.

Blazeheart's gaze brightened, the ginger tom looking forward to seeing other survivors. Demontalon started kneading the ground in anticipation, and Fireflower and Flamesight stood, the green-eyed sister flexing her shoulders as if she intended to sprint there.

Swift got to his paws more slowly, wondering if he was to be chased off now.
