Another sonic blast shattered the sand, even briefly, the Ninja backflipping to the top of the building he was pinned against, landing in a crouched position. "If you were attacked by every freak and reject in this city every time you appeared, wouldn't you be a little catious?" his voice sounded, staring at the man. "I assumed you would've used your little tricks to save some unfortunate man, or to help a puppy out of a puddle..." he said, clearly annoyed.

"assuming i'm going to kill you just because i bumped into you when i couldn't see you isn't sufficient justification for that attack" said Gaara as the sand swirled around the building, crushing it as it went up...

The Ninja lept off the building, frontflipping to the structure next to it. "Its reason enough for me. If you can't accept it...well, then we'd have to do something about that shouldn't we?" his mechanical voice sounded, staring down at the man.

"Go ahead" said Gaara as a beam of sand shot across from the building it had climbed to the building Gaara was on, making a massive hole in it before exploding in the center of the structure, bursting out on the roof and spreading out in an umbrella like shape as it began to come down, as another beam of sand shot into the building the Ninja was on, pressing outwards as it got to the center and headed upwards, blowing a massive hole in the center of the roof, spreading out in another umbrella-like shape as it began to swirl around the Ninja...

Yoruichi had pressed herself into a shadow and attempted to remain hidden once the fight started up again, the young demon-child still weak. But more than anything else, she was scared. There wasn't anything she could do without putting her life, and everyone else's in the vicinity, in danger.

The Ninja sprinted to the edge of the building, sliding under the sand before it engulfed the entire building, freefalling to the ground. He rolled as he landed, slowly rising to look at the man. "Foolish man..." he said, staring at the dome, waiting patiently for the sand wielding freak to stop hiding...

Gaara rose out of the center of the dome of sand, standing in the middle of it, looking down at the Ninja. "why don't you die?" he said as he waved a hand downwards, the sand dome above the building the Ninja was next to pouring down in the form of a barbed, clawed arm of sand, slamming down on top of the Ninja, pinning the Ninja down, but also making it so that if it was blown off, the Ninja would achieve nothing due to the sand coming down in the form of a torrent...it was impossible to simply blow it off with a Sonic Blast...

The Ninja was gone. Seemingly covered in the torrent of sand. Suddenly, Gaara's shirt was cut, bleeding seeping out of the wound on his back. Suddenly he was thrown forward with great, off of the dome and off the building completely. "Going to have to do better then that..." the voice sounded, but the Ninja was no where to be found...

Gaara twisted himself as he fell, the sand wrapping around his arms and slowing his descent before landing on the ground, crouched. he put his hand on the ground, before saying "Ryūsa Bakuryū!". the ground began to rumble as sand broke out through the ground, ripping through the streets, disintegrating the concrete, tarmac and stone of the area around him as an immense quantity of sand burst from the ground, shooting upwards as sand encased him in a cocoon of impenetrable sand, the same which had protected him earlier, his own sand, from the gourd, while the newly created sand swirled overhead, acting like a massive radar, using any impact to determine where the Ninja was...

The Ninja remained invisible, not trying to attack the sand. "This is going to last forever....Time I don't have." his voice sounded, each word seeming to come from a different direction....

Yoruichi watched everything, her red eyes alert. As much as she wanted to run and save herself from further harm, she wouldn't leave Gaara to fight alone. Cowards ran in the face of danger. Demons stood their ground stubbornly.

Gaara moved his hands around as if he were trying to rotate a valve built into the ground, the sand above starting to swirl at high speed, colliding with buildings, cars, lamp posts and, after a bit of expanding, the Ninja. "Sabaku Sousou!" he said, the sand closing in around the ninja, along with the lamp posts, cars and various other constructions, almost everything being crushed into dust, though the Ninja had been caught just outside of the sands range at the time, only having the Katana crushed to the point it was irrepairable, the sand around him starting to move closer to get a better shot at crushing him...

Jacen just watched...once more the Sand Person was fighting back. He just watched this time, if he was to fight he would. He was getting irriated on how everybody targeted him but he stayed quiet...sure his arrogance and confidence and all this fighting made him want to join in. He still had to remember that could lose just as well..

The Ninja backflipped away from the sandstorm, still bored with the fight. He remained invisible, waiting for the man to stop acting like a coward and to actually fight.

Gaara had had enough of the games. the sand seemed to fall to the ground as his sphere of sand recollected within the gourd. he needed to get closer. the main problem was the fact that the Ninja was too fast for anything other than the sand that was in his gourd, which, if used, would mean his own defences were breeched, opening him to attack from another direction should the Ninja have any kind of counter to break out of the trap, such as the sonic blast, though the sand could easily return to defend Gaara fast enough to save him from a blow, it could not protect him if it was preoccupied with the Ninja. Gaara thought about how to solve the problem as the sand levitated within the gourd, ready to move to protect him if any attack was made. the sand that had been formed from the streets and earth around him blasted outwards, finding his target, Gaara immediately moving to face the Ninja, annoyed that he would use cloaking to conceal himself...

Suddenly the Ninja appeared, seeing the man walking over to him, assuming he was finally coming out of hiding. "Finally the coward appears." his voice sounded, getting into a relaxed stance as he walked forward toward the man...

Yoruichi continued to watch, feeling pain pressing at her shoulders. Her wings were trying to break from her skin, but she resisted the pressure, gritting her teeth as she fought to stay calm. Stay calm...there's nothing to worry about, for now, she tried to assure herself.

"You're one to talk, with armour that seems to be impossible to break by any person, even with super strength" said Gaara as he stopped a few feet in front of the man, crossing his arms. "When hand to hand won't work, one must use different tactics" he said as the unused, produced sand started to pile up behind the Ninja, taking the shape of another Gaara, the one standing before him disintegrating in a dim cloud of sand that seemed to blow away on the wind, swirling into a dust devil after reaching the top of a small apartment building nearby, crossing his arms again as he looked down at the Ninja...

Jacen glanced at the girl before back at the battle beforehand. He began to just watch everything...prehaps trying to analyze everything all at the moment but it wasnt doing all that considering that there was only the obvious that was taking place..

"I am what I am, I didn't choose to be this way." The Ninja's voice sounded, not moving. "So now we realized this fight is pointless. I'll be on my way then..." he said, walking off toward the edge of the building, his strides normal and relaxed...
