Largetooth was going to chase Bloodlust but then he saw up in the sky, clouds were gathering as thunder clashed across the sky and rain came in a furious downpour. There was a storm and it was a big one. Largetooth decided then to let Bloodlust run, he could swim after the spinos but in this weather he would be at a disadvantage. The storm was getting stronger by the minute, Largetooth was worried, a flood was likely in a storm such as this and this could put his pack in jeopardy. "I'll worry about the spinos later, but he won't last. Let him run for now but i'll get him later." he thought to himself as he headed from the forest the spinos had ran from him back to his nest. Bloodlust may outrun him for now but once the rains had stopped, Bloodlust would be hunted down. For now protection of his giga pack was main priority and headed back to his pack. He found them sheltering some ways off from the argentinosaur and brach he had brought down. The adults were sheltering the youngsters. They would not have to worry with predators for now though. At least the sauropods would survive the storm especially during floods. Largetooth watched up in the sky as the lightning shook across the sky in its fury...

Goldfang knew that this storm could be dangerous especially if a flood were to occur. He knew it was also a bonus for the crocodiles along with Koolasuchus as floods would behave to them like personal monorails, carrying them with the flow along with food and other debris. Once again the water dripping on his scales, giving them a strange mixture of colour. He saw Fatalis talking, planning about their attack on the Shadow Raptors and went over to him. "Fatalis, I would insist that we get out from the storm, these crocodiles along with our salamander "friends" over there have the advantage at this time, should a flood come, we could be in serious trouble. We should somewhere else safer." he hissed...

So these things are going east? Savage asked. YES! isn't it great!? I come here for the scraps. Yum. The compy squeaked out looking ecstatic to be here. Well, see you down the line. Where are you going? The compy asked. Back to the other side of the island Savage replied. Huh?, what about the hunt? the compy inquired. I don't do well hunting in a group. The compy looked confused as Savage left. A couple of hours later savage had seen a lone T-rex on the game trail. Savage said Hey you!, The Game trail is to the west. The herbovores are sleeping. Perfect time for a strike. The T-rex didn't respond.

Fatalis nodded. "Time to go" he growled, and leaped into a tree, clinging onto a branch with his super sharp killer claws acting like a mountaineer's climbing spike. Echo, Ghost and Amber joined him, and Shade camouflaged. Goldfang jumped up with them, and the group started to move. Shade was walking through the jungle, enjoying the occasional raindrop that hit his head. being under the trees blocked out most of the rain from ground level. but Shade absolutely loved cloudy weather. he was completely hidden when it was raining because the sun couldn't hit him, meaning that the iritating shadow that could blow his camouflage was non-existent. that meant he could move freely and not even need to think about where to go while hunting, since whatever way he went would still keep him hidden. the group moved towards the north east...where a cave filled with Raptors and other predators awaited...

the storm was beginning to subside after 7 hours of heavy rain. it was dawn. Crusher got up, and nuzzled his mate, who had woken up as well. he then walked off to do a patrol on the mud-slicked territory, the rain still pouring, though lighter than before, while his family prepared for a hunt...

Savage had walked past the unresponsive T-rex. Guess he's not intrested....... Savage thought. He returned to where he once made a nest at. It was destoyed by the storm. Where he had ounce marked territory had no scent of him. He smelt some one else. Savage picked out the smell and chase after it. He stumbled into a messy muddy area much like the swamps. The scent was much stronger now. Savage walked by a nest. He was here. Even though he didn't know who, he knew that the dinosaur was a male and one of Savage's own species. Savage left the nest and followed the trail of the scent. Savage then saw foot prints. Fresh, I must be close. Savage burst into a sprint follwing the scent until he saw who he looking for. Unfortunatly, he couldn't stop. it was too muddy. Sliding, he knocked down the dinosaur. Getting up and shaking the mud off him self, Savage went to see who was in his territory when he made a startling discovery, it was...Crusher...

***
I have to say, Doc, thanks for controlling Steeltalon for a little bit. I was at school...isn't that annoying?

Steeltalon flashed an amused glance at Clawfist's pack and moved forward to greet Greeneye. "Haven't seen you in a while," she barked in a friendly way. "Is the raid on the Shadowraptors going well?" She waited for a reply.

Fishtooth opened her eyes, and looked at the ground. It was muddy, and a few drops of rain still fell on the ground. Looking up, she yawned, revealing her long tongue and sharp teeth. A Compy digging for bugs in the mud ran off, scared by the female Spinosaurus. Fishtooth got up, and looked at her injuries. They had scabbed over well, and her neck was less sore now. She walked off, eager to find an early morning meal.

A juvenille Pachycephalosaurus wailed for it's mother and father as it walked in circles. It was completely lost, and Fishtooth growled at the thought of eating this tasty morsel. With a roar, she gave chase. The Pachy screamed, and tried to run from the Spino, but it slipped and fell in the mud. Before it could even get up, Fishtooth ran over, picked the Pachy up in her jaws, and swallowed it whole as it still screamed for it's mother and father.

For a moment, Fishtooth felt pity for this poor creature. But that feeling soon passed, and Fishtooth growled with satisfaction as she walked back to the place she was at before, and lied down, yawning and picking her teeth with her claws.
"Today you are You, and that is truer than true..."

Crusher got up, and shook the mud off of his body, aided by the weak rain that still fell on the ground. he had lost his concentration again. DAMN those accursed worries that kept creeping into his head. he looked at what had hit him, and saw it was a Rex. a sub-adult, 30 feet long and recently reaching maturity. that meant it was a threat to the territory, but the look on it's face didn't seem hostile. he made a deep, stomach rumbling growl, and snarled "What is your purpose in my territory, Tyrannosaur?". he wasn't being hostile towards it, but not being completely friendly either. he didn't know whether this was a friend, or a foe...yet...

green eye growled:"the shadow raptors are hiding. however, i caught a shadow raptor named crimson and fatalis made him reveal what was needed to be known. the shadow raptors are hiding in a cavarn that is being guarded by super predators that are they're allies. one of the predators is a mutant acrocanthosaur. i did not go with the lone wolves because i cannot blend in with the enviorment as well as one of crusher's friends, shade the carnotaur can." green eye waited for steeltalon to reply...

My name is Savage and I apollogize for my clumsyness. I have come your following your scent from which I found in my territory in the center of the island. Savage felt like his heart is about to sink. He was 19 whilst Crusher was 30. He snapped his self out of it. What was your purpose in it? Savage snapped back. Savage feared his responce might trigger Crusher's unbriddled aggression.

Crusher growled "This territory has been mine for nearly 12 years, Savage. I was patrolling it, when you bumped into me". Crusher's eyes had gone from turqoise to light green. he was starting to become wary of this Rex...he thought the center of the island was his territory. he was lucky he hadn't reached the center, where Crusher's nest was...

Crusher growled "No need to be. qute a few predators have come across my territory lately. most of them blinded by the scent of prey". he had calmed back down at the Rex's apolagetic reaction. he felt merciful enough not to chase it out aggressively. in fact, this Rex could be useful in the future...

Did you hear about the predators ball? A compy told me about it. There is a contest to see if a group of one species can see if the can a kill a brachiosaur. I heard you are a leader of a group. Maybe you should join.

Crusher grunted "Predators ball....why bother? i've got enough food here. but me or Largefang could probably take a Brachiosaur down ourselves...Largefang's done it. i can, but haven't bothered to try because i dont need it"...

Crusher nodded. he then continued his patrol. after finishing it, and scaring off a few tresspassing Megalosaurs, he went to where Savage had marked as his territory, and remarked it, to insure that no other predator would confuse it for free ground. he then went back to the nest, to prepare his family for a hunt...
