Claw looked at Bloodspill in surprise. "You want to talk to him?! Well, I guess the only way is to act like a member of the Clan-he doesn't know everyone to well-by getting BloodClan scent on you. The problem is, how do we do that?"

Bloodspill had an idea. Grimacing inwardly, she rubbed her pelt against Claw's, soon becoming covered in BloodClan scent. Taking a deep breath, she boldly stepped into the camp.

Claw falttened his ears, embarrased, but quickly composed himself. He mewed, "You... go ahead. Thorn's den is right there." He pointed with his tail at a large tunnel near the opposite end of the camp. "I'll stay here," Claw continued, "Thorn would kill me if he saw me."

Bloodspill nodded and made for the tunnel Claw had indicated, stepping into it. She was partially hidden by she shadows, but she stood defiantly and waited for something--anything--to happen.

Bloodspill met the ice blue gaze evenly with her own blood red. "I was a rogue," she meowed calmly. "Now...how is it you came to the lake?" There was curiosity in her voice and in her eyes.

Bloodspill took a few tentative steps forward and sat down, wrpping her tail neatly around her paws. She tilted her head to one side, still giving Thorn a searching, curious look.

Thorn was a large, almsot completely black cat, with barely visible dark gray tabby markings. He stared at Bloodspill, betraying no emotion. After a moment, he meowed, "So, you want to know why my Clan is here? Why is that? Do you want to join?"
