Darkness, instead of trying to avoid the raptor, actually leaps at him, the two plummeting down to the ground in a tangle of limbs and claws, as Darkness positions the other raptor under him, landing on top of Aircrest. "No Selena here to hold your hand...what ever will you do?" he growled, feet still planted on the raptor's chest.

With a wheezing cough, Aircrest hissed sarcastically "Oh Im sooooo scared" He slammed his clawed hands into the raptor's legs, pushing Darkness off of him. With that, he swung his legs up and into his under side, kicking him back before rolling back to his feet, taking deep breaths...

Darkness, rolling partially to his feet, now laying on the ground, as he stares at Aircrest. "You should be. But you aren't...I always found that strange..." he growled thoughtfully, scratching his chin with a hand claw. "I thought it might be blind devotion, but it remains the same even without your better..." he continued, eyes staring hard at the green raptor.

Switchblade narrowed one eye slightly, trying to think of anywhere she might have seen a densely overgrown cave, but coming up with nothing. This would most likely turn out to be harder than she thought, but in the end, if Ripper could reunite her with the pack, it would be well worth it. "Hmmm... I haven't come across anywhere like that yet, but I'll start looking tomorrow... Provided I can get out of here in one piece..." she hissed, referring to the Spinosaur and Ceratosaurs that were probably still in the area...

"I dunno why-" Aircrest growled. "For some reason, you remind me of my brother, oh, I imagine why?" Aircrest hissed, shaking his head. "Ironic, isnt it?" he barked. It was quite funny actually...

"Abusive family...dropped on your head a few too many times as a hatchling? I would be lying if I said I was surprised." Darkness responded calmly.

"Didnt have a family as a hatchling...not until some time after I hatched that is" Aircrest barked, laying down aswell, still a bit winded from the short fight. "So what about you? What did your family do to make you turn out like this?"

"Great...another one who's so eager to dive into the past..." Darkness growled, rolling his eyes. "It would be easier to say I didn't have parents, lets leave it to that." he snarled with some buried hatred...

[C S]

"Who'da thunk?" Aircrest growled, somewhat sarcastically. He'd guessed as much. So here he was talking to a fellow head case, who just so happened to be one he hated the most....and he was having a normal conversation with him. Stranger things have happened. Like that raptor and liliensternus, friends with spinosaurs...

"Not surprising, no. A great many raptors live without their parents...such is the way of this harsh lifestyle...so some hold me responsible, what of it?" Darkness growled, intentionally mentioning his actions in the past that most likely gave him many enemies in the present...

[The Kingpin]

"I can help you with that" growled Crusher calmly. "I'm going to be roaming this new island completely anyway....i need to see if i can't find somewhere more beneficial to the family before we finally decide on our current territory as our home" he added...

"Believe it or not, Ive met a few of those who 'hold you responsible'. I dont think your past justifies trying to...kill them?" Aircrest replied with a snort.

"Mistakes made in the past, and obviously they didn't take it very lightly. I have no wish to kill such insignificant creatures...unless I'm hungry. That can't be said about them, however." Darkness growled, waving a clawed limb dismissively. "Many have tried to kill me as part of their quest for revenge. All have failed. I'm not worried."

The green raptor said with a growl "So thats how you got your reputation..." He closed his eyes, as if to think about it. "Blade says he knows another side of you" He growled, eyes slowly opening again. "Mind telling me what's up?"

"That...was when I actually had a family to look after. Blade just so happened to meet me when I was...tame, for lack of a better term." Darkness growled, thinking. "Lets just say, normality is sobering, even if there were enemies constantly barging in. Now, its gone, and with it, my 'other side'." he continued, once again staring blankly at Aircrest.

"So what do you call this? Some sort of mid way point?" Aircrest growled, cocking his head.

"I guess. Having a family has changed me, as it does so many others. But not completely." Darkness growled, shaking his head. "If it didn't, you wouldn't be alive right now."

"If you were the raptor others say you were, we wouldnt have met. Period. Selena would've been long dead before we even came snout to snout" Aircrest growled, yawning. "I cant fathom having a family" Aircrest growled, shaking his head. "Ive been alone most my life...quite frankly Im happy with it like that..."

Selena's jaw dropped open, staring after the two raptors. She blinked a few times, her mouth working as she tried to find words. All she came up with in the end was, "What the hell?" "Took the words right out of my mouth," Alira growled, having lifted her head as soon as the raptors appeared.

"The perks of being a big bloodthirsty super predator never seem to end..." growled Blade with a chuckle. "Makes me wonder whether Crusher gets his kicks seeing that happen" he added...
