Hellfire chuckled. "Voided of intelligence" he repeated for the third time, mulling over the fact. it was even more true than it would seem at a glance...

Fatalis continued to feed on the kill, taking the best parts of the internal organs if only for the soul purpose of making the meal the Spinosaur would undoubtedly attempt to have that much less enjoyable. the Raptor then leapt onto the kill and stared towards the Spinosaur, eyes narrowed...

Bloodsail stopped his approach a short distance from the carcass, staring down the lone raptor for a moment, before unleashing a bone-jarring roar, practically deafening Fatalis, in an attempt to scare the raptor off...

"Wanna know what truelly voided of intelligence? Yesterday, a Spinosaur was trying to get at a kill a raptor pack had...which was inside one of the human caves. It was just sticking its hand in there, feeling around like a complete idiot!" Aircrest barked, on the verge of laughter himself. "I had a good laugh provoking it into a chase, only to have it slam into yet another cave"

"Ow....would you mind not screaming so loud? You have a horrendous singing voice" hissed Fatalis as he stared the Spinosaur down, flexing his claws and preparing to spring the moment the Spinosaur moved...

Bloodsail snorted angrily and took a step forward, snapping his gin-trap jaws at Fatalis threateningly...

Fatalis cocked his head. "Air must be tasty this time of year" he hissed, before snapping his jaws mockingly. "Nope. boring and tasteless as always. makes me wonder what you see in it" he growled...

Finally losing his patience at the obstinate raptor, Bloodsail roared again and charged at Fatalis, taloned feet digging great ruts into the ground as he did so...

Fatalis leapt off the corpse and to one side of the Spinosaur, bolting past just out of it's reach and stopping several dozen feet behind it, hissing "Temper temper, Spinosaur. It's not good for your health"...

Hellfire chuckled. "Ever get the feeling that it might be an illness that effects things that don't use their brains as much as we do?" he hissed...

Bloodsail glared at Fatalis, but instead of attacking, he simply swished his tail across the ground, throwing up a cloud of dust. As he did so, he turned his back on the temporarily blinded raptor, preferring to eat in peace as he tore apart the remains of the tail and gulped it down...

Renegade was watching as he ran forward, seeing how his new pack-mate would handle things. He glimpsed the beginnings of a fight, watching the spinosaur snap at Fatalis, and then seeing the raptor dodge it...

"If so, then that raptor I met last night brings up a disturbing prospect. Dromeosaurs aren't immune" Aircrest replied with a hiss. "Oh the raptority!"

Fatalis, not close enough for the dust to effect him directly, leapt into the trees, going around to one side of the Spinosaur silently. suddenly, the Raptor leapt at the Spinosaur, hitting the sail, claws ripping in, the Raptor's weight dragging him down a bit on impact, leaving a series of long gashes in the Spinosaur's dorsal fin, before leaping off. "Hands off, Spinosaur. that meal's for intelligent predators. go find a stream to eat out of" the Raptor screeched as he circled through the trees around the area, getting some distance between himself and the Spinosaur...

Glancing back only once to make sure something hadn't gone wrong, thw twins finally slowed down as they neared their cave, falling into single file, slipping through the door, and walking across the room to a shattered window. There was some foliage in the way, but they had a good enough view to see that Fatalis had just leaped onto the large predator's back. Sylicora fidgeted nervously, claws digging into the carpeted floor. After a moment, Rhojis felt her yellow eyes on him. "What happened back there? That's not the first time I've seen you freeze in front of a Spinosar..." Rhojis didn't answer for a few moments, eventually growling, "Nothing. I'm fine now..."

Renegade followed through, ducking through the entrance and going toward the window where the others were watching, unaware of the twin's quick exchange.
"Ssssso, he plans on taking a whole ssspinosaur by himself? Isss that the sssmartest decision to make?" he inquired thoughtfully...

"This is nothing new," Rhojis answered rather quickly, "Told me he used to annoy big carnivores pretty often just for fun. He'll be fine..." He trailed off, gazing intently at the Spinosaur...

Howler watched the standoff as well, hissing to Rhojis, "You had better be right..."

Bloodsail roared angrily and backed up from the carcass, looking around for where the raptor had disappeared to...

Renegade returned his gaze to the fight happening outside, not saying anything in reply, interested in seeing what the raptor would do, how he would take down the larger dinosaur, if need be...

"Hey, twig-head, over here!" barked Fatalis, now in front of a thick tree, obviously one of the older ones in the area...

Bloodsail roared angrily at Fatalis and grabbed the Muttaburrasaurus carcass in his jaws, throwing it to the side to make more room. The Spinosaur dug his feet into the ground, but didn't attack yet...

"That might be the case, but how on earth do YOU know of Thrasher. My current "guardian" said that Thrasher roamed around when he himself was but a wee yound chick. I highly doubt your THAT old, especially considering just how short a raptor's lifespan tends to be..." Lightfoot snarled.
