"Hey, I dont follow other raptors around because Im 'interested' in them." Aircrest growled, completely serious and fighting back a shudder. "I met him around here, actually. He was tracking me down, so I jump into a tree and wait for him to catch up before dropping down on him. Its then he tells me he's interested in me because Im a loner, when he was supposedly a loner himself! Then he tells me he's friends with a spinosaur and sh*t...long story short, he was trying to convince me he wasnt ambushing me. I didnt buy it, damn it!" He told the dark raptor before taking a pause. Shortly after, he continued "When I met him today..."

Darkness made a loud snoring sound, but was obviously still awake...

"...He was watching me sleep" Aircrest continued on, paying no mind to Darkness. "Sh*t was weird, Darkness." He shuddered at the memory of waking up to the strange raptor. "He told me his name was Redeye. He asked my name and I told him it was the same. He then states the obvious, that my eyes arent red, and I give him the run about with it. He wasnt amused"

The siblings again exchanged a short glance, Sylicora's eyes darting back to Fatalis with a mildly curious look. "How could you tell it's female? Just by the roar? And the Torosaur... I didn't even notice it at first, never mind identify it..."

"Right..." Darkness growled, dropping his guise. The dark raptor couldn't remember if he had met the raptor in question before...

"Its weirder still because he was tagging along with me for a short bit...because he was bored. He was BORED but he stayed around when I was asleep!" Aircrest barked, looking away at Darkness and clawing at the air. "What the sh*t!?" He snarled, as if Darkness could actually answer. "Thats not natrual damn it!" He exclaimed, before making a series of gruff growls and snorts, mentally cursing as he thought about the event. It only stayed with him because of the potential danger his sister was in, but he wasnt going to tell Darkness about that.

"Evidently the encounter scarred you mentally." Darkness growled, watching the strange behavior...

Aircrest panted heavilly, lowering his hands and falling silent. He remained like this for several moments, seemingly in deep thought. Breeze blew through the trees every now and again, sending the leaves into a rattling orchastra. Finally, Aircrest growled "...Its just not natrual."

Blackscale narrowed her eyes, the second the raptor came into view. So it WAS a lone raptor, seeking to have some suicidal fun by provoking far larger predators... in that case, she'd give it what it was asking for. The massive female T-rex growled deeply, as a warning for the raptor to get away, or have it's head ripped off...

Fatalis smirked, tapping one claw on his nose. "A few years of practice and dependence on scent to give me warnings has taught me alot about how things smell" he growled. "As for the Torosaur, those things were found in huge numbers in the southeastern part of the island. more than once one had died around the time i was in the area, so i've learned to recognise the smell" he added with a chuckle....
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"

A wet and overgrown garden rustled as small animals moved in the underbrush looking for seeds and bugs or carrion if they could find any, but little did the creatures in the garden know that they were about to get a new neighbor.

A old and rusted gate was rammed open as a small theropod entered the garden looking for food. the dilophsaurus called by the name of Black Crest looked for a small animal to munch on.

"Done?" Darkness growled, wondering if the green raptor's fit was over...

Aircrest sighed and nodded, calming himself knowing that Hazel was ok, sleeping not too far from him. "Done" He growled, looking to the dark gray raptor. "This talk really meant a lot, thanks" He growled only a little sarcastically. Even if Darkness didnt say much, the talk helped him get that trouble off his chest.

"So who's the new meat?" Darkness growled, seamlessly transitioning onto another topic. "Not another mate you're trying to hide from Selena I hope." he added, though that was exactly what he hoped was going on...oh the things that would come if such a thing was true...

"Oh! And here I was, hoping no one would find out! Oh sure, it was part of my master plan to steal the hearts of females and then bring them together with some convoluted effort so I can have a laugh to myself." Aircrest growled in an emphasized monotone, before laughing dryly. "She's just a friend" He growled normally, examining his clawed hands

"Really?" Darkness growled, raising a scalely brow. "Well then...I don't suppose you'd mind if I got to know her better." he growled, appearing utterly serious.

Aircrest raised a brow, taken by suprise, but hid it by dawning a smirk. "Wow. Proactive socialization? I never thought I'd see it from you" He growled. "Go ahead, though I dont think she'll like being woken... as if you actually considered that" He finished, waving the hand he was examining dismissively. He had nothing to fear as long as Hazel remembered what he told her.

"Subtlety is a complete mystery to you, isn't it?" Darkness growled, shaking his head...

"Yes. Yes it is" Aircrest replied, though he was well aware of what Darkness tried to pull. Maybe his guise would make Darkness uninterested in Hazel and forget about her entirely. It was better than getting defensive and encouraging him to dig deeper.

As the female trex's growl finished, Renegade seemingly appeared in the space to it's left, before slipping back into the cover of the forest with a smirk. Catch me if you can, he thought...
