Sassk smirked as the turbolaser fire splashed harmlessly against the asteroids. Massive ships or not, nothing could get through there unless it actually pushed it's way through. Geonosis was safe as long as the Imperial fleet didn't try and get through. Nevertheless, the fleet was ready, each ship bristling with turbolasers, torpedo launchers, and Ion Cannons. The Vengeance, in particular, was identical in size to the Annihilator, and similarly well-armed, with thousands of weapons of all types along its hull and a trio of massive hangars, each capable of holding thousands of fighters. Sassk used the time he had to send information to Grievous about the fleet.

Moments after Serephir asked the question, Grievous was provided the answer. "There seems to be quite a few capital ships, including a 19-mile-long Executor-class Super Star Destroyer. Right now, the fleet around Geonosis is waiting behind the planet's asteroid field. They're biding their time."

In the mix of the battle...gravity bombs were secretly unleashed. Upon explosion, the gravity bombs disrupted large groups of astroids, sending the astroids into various direction. The Imperial Fleet left themselves widespread for better attack angles. With thousands of turbo lasers, blasting through the astroids..it wasnt long till the overwhleming fire pounded at the enemy. Thousands upon thousands of TIE Fighters, Bombers, Phantoms and such were unleashed as well as they quickly used their speed to engage the enemy as the Imperial Fleet began to slowly advance..

Sassk's fleet, just as spread out as the Empire's, stayed back, blowing fighters out of the sky as they got too close. The asteroid field simply closed back up after the explosions. Considering there were trillions of them surrounding the planet, such a maneuver was pointless, and made Sassk chuckle. "Hasn't the Empire dealt with asteroids before?" he growled with a toothy grin, watching the incoming fleet. So far, other than a few stray hits on the ships, his fleet was fine, as the massive field of asteroids blocked most attacks.

Serephir nodded. "Is there any way i could be escorted to the Endeavour? i'll call in my order to Vardian High Command and they should arrive within 5 hours" he said...

Grievous nodded and turned, walking out of the room. "Rouse your crew if necessary, then meet me back at the landing pad."

Reinforcements for the first wave..there was alot more ships. These ships were to be used in case the first intial phase was pointless. Now much greater in numbers. Two parts of the reinforcements had arrived..

One part of the reinforcements began to poistion themselves above the astroids while the second part began to poistion themselves under the astroids. The ships were still focused towards the enemy fleet. This was sure to attract more enemy reinforcements but the Imperials were just stallling as they gathered more information.

Kaine just watched as the Imperials was now reinforced with a much stronger fleet but this was just a battle of wits right now..

Revan himself was just waiting for an opportunity to reveal himself and his Armada but the first wave still had more ships should it be needed..as this was all going on however..the probes were still recording more data..

Sassk's fleet had spread themselves out quite a bit, leaving large gaps. Through these gaps, massive beams of energy and gargantuan missiles streaked from the planetary turbolasers and surface-to-space missile launchers, each shot hitting a single ship and obliterating it in a single shot. Needless to say, it thinned out the waves of ships above and below the asteroid belt quite a bit. It would take time to set up another shot, but that first attack was sure to keep the Imperials' heads down...

Serephir nodded, and headed to wake the crew, several of whom were already awake. "VAMCEB Soldiers, front and center" said Serephir after he had woken everyone up. "For the time being, we are back on duty as Vardian Special Forces. now, the nearby planet of Geonosis is currently under fire by the Empire. our alliance binds us to the protection of them. I am going to contact Vardian High Command for a regiment of troops to be sent immediately. as of now, we're back on duty"...

not long afterwards, Serephir and the crew arrived at the landing pad, where Grievous awaited...

Grievous beckoned the group onto the shuttle impatiently. His guards, and OOM-6, waited inside. The cyborg sat down, tapping his fingers against the table.

OOC: last post for the night

Massives hordes of gigantic missles rained through, flying through astroids due to their advanced capabiltites as they slammed into enemy ships with highly explosive effects. The torpedo spheres would prove to be highly useful for this reason. Meanwhile..TIE Bombers that have snuck through enemy defenses left highly explosive and deadly photon bombs to smash into enemy ships while gravity bombs were sending massive groups of astroids out of their orbit as the astroids went into free control, some smashing into enemy ships dealing high ammounts of damage.

The Imperial Fleet was proceeding to move in as they continued to rain massive fire upon the enemy..even if they were hitting mostly astroids, the Imperials were still stalling. While the reinforcements for the first wave, evenly divided themselves and set them into open space as they posistioned themselves above or below the astroid field unleashing their own rain of mass fire towards the enemy fleet or the planet surface.

It could have been considered pointless but areas on the surface who shot on the fleet were fired on. Gigatons upon gigatons of turbo lasers easily ripped apart the surface, sending the surface into nothing but molten slag..

Serephir followed Grievous on board, the crew swiftly following behind, VAMCEB soldiers with their weapons at their sides, behaving like true soldiers now instead of the laid back attitude they had taken thus far...

Considering most of Geonosis was barren wasteland, the orbital attack was pointless. Sassk, however, started to get rather frustrated. Another planetary attack was launched, slamming into the Imperial fleet with devastating affect. "Alright, launch them now!" the Trandoshan barked.

Suddenly, some of the asteroids seemed to move, jets opened from them and they rocketed towards the Imperial ships in every direction. Before they even got close, each one disappeared in a gigantic, blinding white flash. As the disguised nukes detonated, they immolated some ships completely, as well as disable most of the ships' shields from the EMP affect. The explosions vaporized the probes and many of the Torpedo Spheres as well. They also made a momentary gap in the asteroid field, and the fleet finally opened fire, shredding many of the vulnerable Imperial ships in seconds. This was closely followed by another planetary attack, which crippled the first wave even more thoroughly. Of course, Sassk didn't grin in triumph just yet. If he had learned anything about the Empire, it was that they never sent every ship in at once. He still had some surprises for the rest of the fleet, should they be foolish enough to try and attack again.

As the shuttle lifted off, Grievous said, "Exactly what ships are you sending to assist me, General?"

"Well, for an initial force, i'm calling in 7 of Vardia's Sovereign-class Galactic Destroyers. they'll be escorting a single Shogun-class Galactic Transport Cruiser. on board the cruiser will be roughly 100,000 troops, more if i can pull it off immediately. with them will come the various Mechs, Tripods, armoured vehicles, artilliary batteries and so on" said Serephir simply, Jarmun and Jarad staring wide eyed at what the General just said. how was he dealing with such numbers of forces as if they were nothing? they were absolutely awestruck...

Grievous nodded. "Good. I'm going to need all the help I can get. Chances are, the Empire attack will be in waves, just like last time. We can take care of the first couple just fine, but they always send in the tougher ships late." The shuttle touched down on the landing strip, where the Endeavour, which had been fully repaired overnight, sat waiting. "Looks like we're here," said Grievous, standing up.

"My Lord..we are engaging the enemy and we are taking some casualties" Kaine stated as he looked towards Revan's armored mask in the hologram.

"That is to be expected..remember your part.." Revan replied.

"Of course my Lord and I must say..very clever" Kaine responded as he nodded towards the Dark Lord of the Sith.

The remaining Torpedo Spheres to continue unleash their highly advanced missles at very high rates. Taking advantages of holes in the astroid field to barrage enemy ships, smashing at the enemy ships until they were destroyed. As for the ordinary Star Destroyers, the sheer firepower still made them deadly threats as the two parts.

The large attackgroups from above the astroid field and below the astroid field continued to advance towards the planet itself while focusing its guns towards the enemy fleet. Gravity Bombs continued to be unleashed all over, sending massive groups of astroids out of their orbit, sending them into enemy ships. The more massive ones easily took out the smaller enemy capital ships while medium to small ones easily destroyed smaller or weakned enemy.

More massive white flashes appeared, this time to the sides of the fleets instead of from below. The second wave of hidden nukes vaporized or disabled scores of ships, obliterating Torpedo Spheres completely. Many of Sassk's ships, mainly Providence-class Cruisers, Brawler-class Destroyers, and the circular Lucrehulk-class Battleships, were more than large enough to stay unharmed by wayward meteors, many of which were blown to pieces by well-placed missiles before they even got close. More planetary turbolasers and missile launchers, protected by deflector shields, pounded many of the Imperial Star Destroyers into scrap. Sassk grinned. "Is this it?" he hissed. "Is this all the mighty Empire can conjure against the TGDA?"

Thara was anything but happy with the situation... the idea of a war further convincing him that it was time to move on from Serephirs little party...

meanwhile, Marbh was curled up inconspiculously near the Endeavour, emplying several technologies to hide him from view, most of which simply convinced onlookers that he had nothing to do with them, therefore, was of no interest, so they didn't notice him.

The Cypher messaged Revan "Lord Revan... I would like to remind you that the Myro and Majal are still at large... If you would be so kind as to authorise it, I could search for them alone above Corruscant..." He was getting impaitent with following the sith lord around...

The koult pursures were quickly mobiliseing. A free company ship had been chartered for the Sanghelli and Bias was to travel on the lead pursuit cruiser. It was planned to transfer him onto the Battleship when they linked up....

The three ships let up noiselessly as they rose out of the thick koultian atmosphere, entering space to begin the chase....

Hundreds of Sentinels flew up into space as well, using their own tiny Slipspace drives to follow the larger ships. Elch and his brethren paced throughout the ship, observing the place, while Bias floated about in the pursuit cruiser, trying to convince the Koult to allow him to categorize the information aboard the ship for "further study," as the little AI put it.

Serephir stood, exiting the craft and heading towards the Endeavour, which looked as good as new, the doors sliding aside and a ramp lowering to the ground for him to board. as he entered, he said "Computer, unseal all doors. and contact Vardian High Command immediately". "Immediately, Captain" responded the Computer, as a series of mechanical clicks sounded throughout the craft, the doors unlocking...

Grievous walked into the ship, looking around the interior, apparently impressed. His bodyguards walked in behind him, staring straight ahead as usual. OOM-6 waited outside, ordering droids that scampered around near the building to get ready for a possible fight.
