Snowpaw grinned. "Wait here," she mewed, dashing off to where she'd last seen Firestreak. She tracked his scent and meowed, "hey, Firestreak! I got a question only you can answer!" Frostpaw rolled her eyes, amused.

Firestreak's eyes widened slightly, staring down at the kit. Uh...As a friend, of course... he meowed, regaining his calm mood. As...more... Firestreak mewed, glancing past the kit, thinking. I guess that would depend on how she felt about me... he meowed simply, shrugging.

Streamflower got to her paws and walked over to Snowpaw, casually swatting the apprentice's ear with a paw. "Another target of their boredom," she sighed as she passed Firestreak and turned back to the hyper young cat. Snowpaw muttered, "You could've told me to stop," and hurled herself at her mother with a mock challenging yowl. Streamflower responded with a playful caterwaul and fell back, kicking up as the white cat crashed towards her and sending the young cat flying a few tail lengths. The older she-cat got to her paws and called, "Too slow."

Firestreak's tail twitched in amusement, glancing from Streamflower to the kit. Someone's in a good mood today... he meowed, his comment aimed at both Streamflower and the kit. Firestreak continued to watch calmly, his tail swaying from side to side behind him.

Streamflower purred in amusement, ducking as Snowpaw flew at her. The apprentice missed her target and was sent sprawling.

Frostpaw launched herself at Spotedstar, squeaking in excitement.
"You call?" a rasping voice came from the shadows seconds before a rank stench hit Bloodspill's nostrils. She curled her lip to drive the scent from her nose and meowed, "I did. Tell me...what are you?" A small brown animal came out of the forest and bared its fangs. "Big brother call me Bear. No longer." Bloodspill's eyes flashed. "You're not welcome here," she told it haughtily. The bear snarled, "I do as please."

Frostpaw mirrored her father's crouch, hissing playfully and pouncing again.
Bloodspill bristled. "So why're you attacking cats?" she meowed, forcing herself to stay calm. "Cats attack Bear family first. Now Bear attack cats," the bear growled. "Surely it wasn't us!" Bloodspill cired, shocked. "All cats die," the bear snarled angrily.
