The armored man walked down the white corridor. Hanging plants hung from the ceiling. One of Nexus' experiments... plants that didnt need sunlight to survive. He came to a door. There was a keypad outside. He tapped in the code and the door opened with a hiss of air. He stepped in and the door closed behind him. This was Deviant's home, provided thoughtfully by Nexus industries. Though he the suit he tested could be taken off at anytime by any other person, he depended on it. His cybernetics were seamlessly intergrated with the suit. He also had a rare muscle defect... if he hadnt been recruited into the Nexus hive and given a chance to be more than himself, he'd be wasting away every second, day by day. That grim realitty was far behind him. He moved out of his old apartment. From there, any trace of his existance disappeared. His old name didnt apply to him now. Project Deviant, or simply Deviant, was who he was now. The room was fairly small. He didnt have a bed. He didnt need one. There was a flat screen TV hung against a wall, a black leather couch infront of that. Nearby was a fridge where he kept his snacks and such, and on the opposite sie of the room from that was a book case. The floors were covered in a dark green carpet, the walls were dark blue. At the very back of the room though, there was a strange device. It had a silver and blue base. Deviant walked over to the device, stepping onto it. There was a flash of blue light from the device, which formed into a column around the cybernetic hero. Metalic arms lowered from the roof, latching onto the man's shoulders, suspending him. Another arm lowered, connecting a cable into the back of the armor. Deviant's glowing eyes dimmed black as he powered down, recharging. This was the equivillent of sleep for him. He'd stay like this until he was deployed into the city again. His pistols were unjammed and holstered on his waist...
