Darkness again sighed. This is it. he thought to himself. I'm going to die from an attack by a Tyrannosaur, Spinosaur, and a raptor that I've known for only one day... he thought to himself.

Redtooth winced when he saw Steeltalon's wounds. He hissed, "Wow, you two must have been fighting viciously." He turned to the black raptor, and growled, but suppressed the urge to attack him.

Steeltalon sighed. "He wanted to kill Silver," she growled, "and I defended her as well as myself. I guess he wasn't quite sane when he attacked me, or else he wouldn't have helped me afterwards." She was willing to plead with Greeneye not to kill the black raptor, but something held her back. Sure, he had attacked her, and sure, Greeneye could put him out of his misery, but the black raptor's injuries were similar to those on her mother before Jade was killed. "I figure I should allow him to recover in my terriory for at least a day. Maybe more than that, if he's not fit to travel." She stared at the black raptor and how he was cowering, and almost felt like she could sympathize with him, but she couldn't. They were so alike, yet so different. She glanced at the spino and nodded, then at Greeneye and barked, "Hey, at least I'm alive." Then she looked back at the cringing male raptor. "Calm down," she growled nicely to him. "I know Greeneye, and I trust this spino." She took a pace back toward the caves. She hesitated before growling, "You're welcome to rest with Silver and I, so long as you don't decide to attack her." Silver vanished inside the caves ahead of Steeltalon, who looked back at Greeneye and barked, "I'm okay. Really."

Ghost and Bloodrose are traveling after Bloodrose recovered from her injuries when they come across a group of dinosaurs speaking to each other a few raptors a rex and a spinosaur. What do you make of this? Ghost hissed very quietly. I do not know, maybe we should keep low and try not to be seen and discover what they are up to? Bloodrose growled in response. Agreed.... Ghost hissed as they both took positions in the darkest part of the bushes nearby. Ghost slightly farther back, because of his lighter coloration.

Redtooth nodded and turned back to the black raptor. He hissed, "Still, this raptor makes me nervous. Greeneye, let's make sure he doesn't try any funny business until he leaves."

[Iceking]

green eye was angry when he heard te raptor had tried to kill silver. however, he knew steeltalon wouldn't want him to kill the raptor if he had helped her afterwards. green eye went back to the black raptor and growled:"what is your name?"

Silver stared at the utah raptor and blinked curiously. She gave a small chirp and decided to let Greeneye deal with them. She bowed her head in respect and dashed to the caves. Soon she was curled up up beside Steeltalon and started licking Steeltalon's wounds again. Steeltalon shifted away from Silver slightly, and Silver gave up, curling close to the black striped female.

Darkness lifted his head. He stared at the raptor. He nodded, and bowed his head in respect. He turned to the Tyrannosaur and Spinosaur. Darkness is my name, and let this be a favor to you. he growled. He nodded toward the direction of some foliage. Raptors, hiding. They think they are unseen, but I noticed them as soon as they arrived. he growled. The Tyrannosaur and Spinosaur looked surprised. Now, I have to rest. he growled as he struggled to get up. He walked into the cave, but passed the two by and went to the very back. He came to a corner and curled himself into a tight curve. He almost immediatly fell asleep.

Redtooth turned to Greeneye and hissed, "Do you think Darkness is telling the truth about the hiding raptors? And if he is, do you think they're Ultra Raptors, like the one that tried to kill your son?"

[Iceking]

green eye growled to redtooth:"i don't know. so far, i haven't seen any other raptors that have tried to attack my son. it is possible darkness has met crusher as well. now, lets see what those hiding raptors want." green eye and redtooth waited for the raptors that were hiding to show themselves.

Ghost Sighs as much as a raptor can sigh and growls at bloodrose. I guess we might aswell show ourselves now. I agree, I guess. Bloodrose growled in response with a slight annoyed undertone as they both got up and walk out of the bushes. Hello little one. ghost growled quietly to the small raptor. Me and my friend here mean no harm to you or your friends we were only passing through and heard the commotion and decided to investigated. Unseen that is. Ghost lowers himself to the ground and looks at the tiny raptor eye to eye.

Silver watched the black raptor, Darkness he had called himself, pass Steeltalon and her and huddled closer to the older female, shivering slightly. Steeltalon gave her a gentle, caring lick, and stared at Darkness. With a resigned sigh, knowing she'd regret this one day, she took the big leaf Darkness had put over her and walked, limping from her broken leg, over to where he was sleeping, carefully laying it on him, avoiding brushing the deepest injuries. Without a word, Steeltalon limped back to her place and curled her body protectively around Silver's small form. With a last lick to her deepest injuries, Steeltalon stared at the leg Darkness had broken. It wasn't as badly broken as she thought, but it still hurt, and Steeltalon wouldn't be hunting for a while. Is that why I said Darkness could rest with us? she wondered, closing her eyes from exhaustion. Because I knew I could never take care of Silver on my own? Silver rested her chin on Steeltalon's flank, feeling reassured by the older female's steady breathing. The hatchling and Steeltalon quickly fell asleep.

[Stallordasaurus Rex]

Killer and his pack arrived t the cave. THe females and juveniles started to eat. The males fell asleep in the back of the cave. Nobody said looking after a pack was easy....

Darkness awoke slowly and realized that there was a leaf on top of him. He slowly pushed the leaf off and walked out of the cave. He was hungry, but needed easy prey. He decided to go and find some compies.

Darkness walked a short distance away from the cave when he saw a group of compies picking the bones of an unidentifyable dinosaur. Darkness lunged at one of the compies, cracking its tiny back with his powerful jaws. He carried the compy back to the cave, and he returned to his corner. He layed down, facing the entrance of the cave. He began to eat the compy as he thought about what had happened...

Steeltalon dreamed again, of the night her family was killed. She shut her eyes and tried to screech a warning, but she couldn't do anything. Her eyes snapped open as her brother was killed. The rest of her family followed him, until Riptide slashed the younger Steeltalon's side. The little Steeltalon dragged herself into the bushes. Night watched her go, his ice-blue eyes narrowed . . .

Steeltalon's head snapped up with a gasp. Her eyes were wide, and she was panting hard. "Haven't had that dream for a while," she muttered, knowing she wouldn't be able to get back to sleep. She shuddered, giving Silver a soft lick when the little hatchling squeaked. Three years after that incident, Steeltalon still had nightmares. Perhaps the injuries and the battle had resurfaced old memories, made the old wounds reopen and ache even more than her fresh ones. Steeltalon shivered again and stood up, wincing as her leg throbbed painfully. She covered Silver with warm leaves and managed to get out of the cave and into the forest. It was barely sundown, but Steeltalon knew that every shadow could hide a dangerous enemy. With a soft sigh, Steeltalon started to limp toward the stream, every step she took with her right leg sending stabs of pain through her. When she reached the stream, she stared at her reflection for a moment, seeing the pain in her eyes and her battle ravaged face, the deep slice on her snout making her wince again as she bent her neck to drink. After a few swallows, Steeltalon stood and started making her way back to the caves.

Redtooth and Greeneye had driven the hiding raptors away and was sleeping on the shore of the stream. He woke up, thanks to his growling stomach. He got up and went to find a fish or two to eat. He walked into the water, making loud splashes.

Darkness ripped into the compy feriously. He was starving. My plans... Darkness growled to himself as he ate. They seems meaning less now.. he snarled. He tore viciously at the raw meat. Crusher! he snarled in rage. That monster! He disgraces me over and over again! he growled. This made him stop eating. And Sharpclaw! .....Sharpclaw... he growled to himself. They don't seem as bad as they were... he snarled as he once again started eating. Maybe they've changed... Darkness growled as he looked over at a puddle. He saw his reflection. ....Or maybe I am the one that changed... he snarled. At this, he layed his head on the ground, too disgusted to eat any more. So many things seemed different to him now. The ones he hated most didn't seem bad to him now...

green eye managed to over heard darkness talk about crusher being a dsigrace to him. he approached darkness and growled:"it isn't crusher's fault for everything thats happened to you darkness. its something thats happened to you that caused you to change. do you have a family member that may have mad you angry?"

[The Kingpin]

Crusher reached the area a group of 3 Sub-Adult Gigas had taken for themselves. he saw them resting. walking out into the clearing, the edge of which they had made their nest, not even attempting to hide himself, and made a booming, heart stopping, gut wrenching roar, making the gigas tremble in fear as they stood to face him. Crusher snarled "GET OUT! NOW!". the Gigas snarled "This is our territory! you dont have the right to..." Crusher interrupted "I Have the right to chase predators out of territory they have taken from me! NOW...OUT!". the Gigas charged, frightened but unwilling to back down. Crusher snarled, and ducked as the first one came up to him. he pushed up with his right leg, which was under him, just as he first Giga reached him. the force knocked the Giga to the ground, and Crusher lifted his foot and put it on the Gigas neck, and pressed down, crushing the neck and killing the Giga. as another rammed him in the side, he turned to it, and grabbed it by the head, and dragged it backwards. he then bit down on it's back, and lifted it off the ground, using all his strength to lift the smaller but bulky predator. he then threw it at the other one, and walked up to them, the pair of them fallen and struggling to get up. Crusher bit down on the nearest one's neck, killing it, then stepped on the skull of the other, adn put all his weight on it, crushing it into a paste. another roar came from him, which was heard throughout the island. he then headed for the swampland...to take care of the Ceratosaurs which fed off the kills that were washed up on small rivers. after a short while of walking, Crusher started to pick up a scent that smelled all too familiar. Darkness... thought Crusher, as he started to walk through the area carefully, trying to trace the scent...

Darkness jerked his head toward the cave entrance. The Tyrannosaur from before was there. Darkness walked forward. My brother.... he snarled. My feelings for him will never change, because he is no better then me... he snarled. He had said enough. I'm sorry, Tyrannosaur, but I must rest... he barked to the enourmous creature. He walked back to his corner and layed down. He did not sleep, however. He bit off small bits of the meat left from the compy and ate them.
