Diana leapt through the fire, her fur not even catching an ember. She barked and leapt at the demon, digging her teeth into his wing, trying her best to tear it off.

Drake tumbled back, getting a good grip on the ground with his feet and leaning forward, allowing him to skid to a hault, his sword halfway into the ground. he cringed slightly as his body began to heal the wound. sheathing the sword, he began to walk forward, his eyes locked on the demon as he approached, expecting and preparing for an attempted attack by the Demon...

Dalvengyr grabbed the wolf by the throat, flames engulfing his hand as he pulled it off of his wing, which twitched as it began repairing itself yet again. Throwing the wolf forward, he raised a hand, sending a fireball colliding with its chest, blasting it into the man, causing both to hit the ground...

Diana let out a huge yelp! Although now in her present werepyre condition, fire didn't have the effect as it once would, but she was still very vulnerable around it. She tried to get back up or at least move so that Drake could get back up and she managed only to roll herself off and lay there, waiting for the pain to subside...

Drake got up, snarling irritably as both his armblades slid out, the razor edges of them extending, the serrations extending as the mechanism within the super hard alloy armed the blades for combat. Drake's eyes seemed to glint red for a moment, as he suddenly bolted forward, slashing large chunks out of the Demon's wing membranes before landing a sharp kick in the stomach, giving a verticle kick upwards and a roundhouse kick to finish it, launching the Demon back several dozen feet and slamming into a tree, the several hundred year old trunk of it groaning and creaking from the blow, a series of cracks and breaks appearing in it where the demon hit it, the Demon's cloak's chest burned away as Drake looked at it, assuing a combat stance, his claws considerably more pronounced now, obviously extending from his fingers like an extra finger joint...

Dalvengyr grunted in pain, his hood still surprisingly up, covering his face. Hands touching the tree behind him, the massive tree caught fire, the demon leaping forward landing in front of the man, smashing the hilt of his sword against his stomach, grabbing his head and slamming it off of his raised knee, causing him to fall back. Dalvengyr back flipped, landing in a crouch a few feet away, watching as twin trails of flames snaked through the grass, spreading all around in a matter of seconds...

In a puff of smoke, Velkor suddenly appeared, as if from thin air, crushing Dalvengyr underneath him. Sitting on the Demon's back, he hissed nonchalantly, "Oops, were you standing where I fell?" Laughing, he tugged at the back of Dalvengyr's hood in an attempt to pull it off. "I wonder what you're hiding? Probably bunny ears or something..."

Drake's form seemed to levitate in mid air for a moment, falling in literal slow motion, suddenly exploding into black mist, a loud feral snarl echoing through the area as his voice was no longer bound by his position. this fight was getting more irritating than previously planned...the fact all his recent combat had gone without anything to help him regenerate only furthered the trouble...

"I told you not to interfere..." Dalvengyr snarled, a blinding light emitting from his body, six bands-on each side of his body-of glowing red snaking out of his back, wrapping around the demon on top of him, burning whatever they touched, eventually tossing the demon aside. The glowing red cloth-like appendages seemed to be made of fire itself, waved slowly, although there was no wind. The demon snarled, deep breathing heard from inside the hood, which was still hiding his face, despite the other demon's attempt to get it off...

Velkor flipped backwards through the air and landed in a crouch, though he quickly stood up and brushed his smoldering coat sleeves. "I couldn't help myself, you know? Sometimes, I just want to screw with an epic battle!" He jumped, landing right in front of Dalvengyr, before his tail whipped out, catching the other Demon by his leg, sending him flipping into the air, before another tail whip sent the hooded figure flying. "That's a home run!" Velkor barked.

the Demon was suddenly thrown forward, skidding along the ground several feet before coming to a hault. Drake stood behind him, his eyes hidden by shadows, his blades crossed diagonally across his chest as he moved forward, the speed such that he seemed to have just disappeared and arrived next to the Demon, ramming the blade into the Demon's back and lifting it up, unphased by it's weight, throwing it up and kicing it forward, causing it to slam into a tree, a hail of wood, dry leaves and nuts falling from the aging oak from the impact as Drake continued to move forward, his eyes gaining an eerie red glow as the full force of his Dhampiric power came to surface...

Diana started snarling as she got to her feet. The smell of singed fur reached her nostrils and she shook her head irratabley. She snarled and leapt back at the demon, knowing she was going to feel that burn later. She leapt at his chest and dug her teeth into his throat, tugging and pulling with all her werepyre strength!

Dalvengyr grunted, the flames snaking across the grass suddenly exploding into an inferno, trapping the other demon within. He threw his hand forward, a fireball slamming into the man's chest, knocking him off his feet. He once again placed a hand on the wolf's neck, a fireball exploding on her face, sending her sprawling back. Dalvengyr gripped his chest in pain, another hand at his throat, knowing neither was lethal, but he could still feel pain. A jet of flames erupted from his hands, engulfing the wolf, but slowly died down once more. "Pathetic...you struggle to fend off...even me...But the real danger...has yet to appear..." he snarled, his wings giving a final snap, able to support him now. "Live in fear...I know where your home resides, and so will my master..." Dalvengyr laughed, rising into the air with a flap of his wings, suddenly disappearing into the night sky...

Velkor rolled through the fire, singing his coat even further. Standing up, he watched the other Demon disappear into the sky, grunting, "D*mn, now I need a new coat..."

Drake was on his feet the moment he hit the ground, standing as if nothing had happened, his recovery so fast it wasn't seen. his blades slid back in and he looked at his ruined shotgun with a snarl, grabbing it, crushing it into a bowling ball sized lump of metal in his hands, before hurling it at the tree he had thrown the Demon against, the blow such that the tree's base was reduced to splinters on impact, the tree falling as he waved an arm at the inferno in front of the house, the flames swiftly being quelled as he walked into the mansion, a cold rage in his blood. Diana had made the biggest mistake she could possibly have made at that point. though he had managed to pull the Demon's focus away from Nyx and Thanatos, Diana had condemned herself. for as long as the Demon lived, she'd have to watch out for it's attack. he went down into the cellar, grabbed several bottles of blood, downing at least 3 in a matter of seconds as the few wounds he still had healed themselves almost instantly, his hunger sufficed as he finished the 5th bottle. he went up, entering the den, finding a seat and sitting down, closing his eyes as he attempted to vent his anger over the current situation before it got too far out of his control...

Diana was softly whimpering where she lay, every inch of her skin was on fire, her meuscles and mouth burned with each struggle to make noise.

Thanatos ran out as soon as the wall of flame died away and nearly cried out when he saw Diana laying down pathetically whimpering away. "Oh my God!" Nyx gasped as she saw her too. Thanatos ran to Diana's side and looked at the burns. "What... how... why?" he asked and tried to find a way to stop her whimpers. "What the H*** happened!?" Nyx asked as she too knelt at Diana's side...

Drake's eyes opened, the bloody red glow in them slowly fading to their typical ice blue. with everyone outside, he needed to speak to them. he went downstairs into the cellar, retrieving a few more bottles of blood before heading upstairs. he walked out of the building through the rubble of the front door, moving with a forced calm to the group, handing several bottles of blood to both Nyx and Thanatos as he raised an arm, pointing it at Diana, the flames dimming and disappearing after a few seconds. "She'll need that blood if she wants to recover from those wounds" he said, his voice almost too quiet, his typically cheery attitude gone as his cold personality resurfaced...

Thanatos gritted his teeth and stared up at Drake with disdain and hatred. He started breathing harder, then without his thinking, his fist came up and slugged Drake on the jaw, making him stumble back and fall to the ground. "Why didn't you help her?!" Thanatos shouted as he stood over Drake. "Why didn't you stop him!?"

Drake was up in a split second, his hand around Thanatos' neck as he lifted him off the ground, his grip tight enough to cut off the blood to his brain, though he didn't go any further, despite his rage driving him towards just killing Thanatos for it, his still somewhat calm mind prevented him from going any further. "I have a feeling you're underestimating the situation here. there was a REASON i was fighting the Demon alone. do you know what that is? to keep him from turning his sights on you, Nyx and Diana, along with your home. that isn't Siete we're talking about here. that was something beyond him. above his level. and, judging by what i've gathered, that was a lesser Demon. meaning, he's SERVING another, more powerful one. and by more powerful, i mean WAY more. thousands of years beyond this one. the kind that would grab an elder Vampire and use it to jump rope with. for one, Diana was the one who got involved. now, as much as it pained me NOT to help her, it was time she saw exactly how difficult life out there can be. she's only SEEN Siete. she hasn't seen what some things out there are capable of. as a result, she was getting arrogant and saw Siete as the only real threat in the world. and that's my first point. my NEXT point, is that, if you hadn't noticed, i was barely taking care of MYSELF in that fight, let alone the ones around me, who i wish could've stayed out for their own good as well as my own. even if i was inclined to stop him from practically cooking her, as essentially harmless as that move was to her, i wasn't in a position to do so. i was too busy trying to avoid getting the same fate myself. the condition i was in today was such that if he had hit me like he hit Diana, he would probably have taken me out for at least a week due to the lack of energy to recover from a hit like that. a shotgun shell to the chest followed by a fight with an elder Demon is NOT something every Supernatural on the planet can withstand. if you were in my place, you would've been dead when he first arrived. so i suggest you think things over before striking out at the one whose TRYING to keep you all alive" snarled Drake, his eyes regaining the eerie red glow, his face almost lit red with the light that came from within his iris. he dropped Thanatos on the ground, calming down, preventing himself from doing any harm to the Vampire, reminding himself that Thanatos was probably as inexperienced as Diana was. Nyx's current silence, he could only take as a sign that she was sensible enough to know what kind of extreme dangers surrounded them in this world. he noticed his claws had begun to extend again during his explosion of rage, and cursed himself for lashing out. "That Demon is powerful, and unless you haven't noticed, i'm currently not equipped to deal with something of his caliber, let alone whatever he's SERVING. the best i can do in my current state is to try and fight him off long enough for him to weaken and retreat before any of you are harmed. you guys have already shown me more kindness than i can repay you for in one lifetime. supplying me with a place to rest, offering support when needed, allowing me the peace of a normal life for once. i don't want that kindness to go unpaid for, but there are some things that'll be beyond my power if things happen that shouldn't. Diana wanted to intervene. i understand she was trying to help, but with something like that, the best thing you can do is stay out of the way and hope the outcome is in your favour. as soon as the sun's up, i'm going to get some gear for myself from Brimstone that'll help me deal with the Demons. until then, we can only slow it down, or force it to retreat" he said after letting himself calm down, before reaching a hand down for Thanatos to lift him to his feet. "We need to get Diana to finish what's in those bottles. drain them. completely. then we need to get her inside and keep an eye on her until she recovers. it'll take a couple of hours at least, but she can recover from those wounds"...

Velkor walked up to the group. "But why, exactly, would such a powerful Demon want your head on a stake? Demons may be sadistic cruel-hearted killers, myself included sometimes, but one more powerful than that wouldn't just fight you for amusement. They usually have better things to do..."
