Velkor arched a brow, the heat hardly noticeable to the Demon. "Even odds? Not my kind of fight, personally..." He scowled, continuing to try and get free.

the spike was slashed clean in half just outside Velkor's body, Drake landing softly, his Armblades armed. being of Demonic origin, his arm blades, along with his katana, were probably among his only weapons capable of handling the heat of the Demon's flames and brute strength...as indestructible as the Demons themselves...Drake just hoped against hope that Demonic Blades had some kind of effect on Demons...from a logical point of view, they should have more capability to kill them, seeing as they were made for Demonic warfare...he just hope that logic applied here...

Velkor landed on his feet, tugging the spike shard out of his chest angrily. "Thanks," he hissed, tossing the spike away. He formed a small fireball in his hand, hurling it at the Demon. It bounced off his head, throwing off sparks, before hurtling away, careening off the wall, and then exploding directly in the Demon's face.

The demon snorted, the fireball doing zero damage to it, being a master of the hellish flames. Waving a clawed hand in front of him, molten geysers springing up in front of the man, spraying him with flames and lava. The demon turned, charging toward the other demon, ramming him like a freight train, slashing his stomach deeply with a spike on his shoulder, while knocking him to the ground. The demon slowed to a stop, turning to face his enemies once more...

As Velkor fell, his tail wrapped around the spike that had slashed him, the inertia of the Demon when he turned pulling Velkor into the air, allowing his to slam his taloned feet into the top of is skull, knocking him down and forward at the same time, and using his head as a springboard, landing a few feet away, turning to face the other Demon.

Outside the mansion a Rottweiler listened to the sounds of battle within, drool dripping from its jaws, eyes glowing an eerie yellow. Behind it, in the shadows of the trees, forms moved impatiently, making quiet growls and hisses...

The demon quickly recovered, its bulk allowing it to remain standing from the attack. It charged forward once more, shoulder ramming the enemy demon, impaling him on a shoulder spike, continuing the charged as the spike stabbed into a wall of the mansion, sending the enemy demon crashing into the mansion itself. The demon turned around, charging away toward his other opponents on all fours, resembling a bull.

Velkor, dazed, leaned against the wall. He muttered groggily, "Stupid... spikes..."

Diana stood shakily and her eyes widened as she saw the demon running at them. "Oh gall," she moaned and waited for the crash of bodies. Suddenly there was a bark from behind her and then Raksha leapt up and wrapped tried to wrap his teeth around the demon's face. Raksha's teeth scraped against the demon's eyes and his claws didn't make it any easier for him to see. "Yeah, go Raksha!" Nyx shouted and ran forward. Diana smiled and picked up what was left of her swords and started to run forward as well. Thanatos picked himself up and followed Diana. She tossed one of the melted swords to him and they picked up speed to match Nyx. Nyx jumped and stabbed her switch into the demon's heart. Diana leapt up as well and brought the sword into his stomach and Thanatos threw his which impaled the demon through his chest...!

The demon roared, grabbing the wolf as he threw it into the air like a ragdoll, the weapons stabbed into him exploding out with extreme force, lava spilling out of the wounds. The demon breathed out, the continuous attacks causing him pain, but he was far from done. He turned, his pitch black eyes scratched by the wolf, but didn't seem to effect him at all. The demon slammed a fist into the first hybrid, breathing fire at the vampire, while his tail slashed the werewolf hybrid across the stomach...

Diana howled as she saw Raksha fly through the air and when the spike swiped across her stomach. Nyx screamed as the fire came at her, but she concentrated hard and slid out of his grip again. Thanatos rushed forward and started shooting at the fresh wounds, hoping to make him weaker.

Drake, having swiftly dodged the flames directed at him, twisted as he slashed off one of the Demon's enormous spines, grabbing onto it and twisting it as he ran it up through it's skull, the spike going through the chin and out the roof of it's skull easily, as Drake tripped it as he shot a harpoon built into his armblade's braces into the Demon's chest, swinging the still airborne Demon with difficulty into one of the oaks, the force of the blow seriously damaging the old oak tree as Drake retracted the harpoon...

"What.." Jaden, turned around..the speed of the Dhampir much faster and smoother then he had thought. He was starting to think he was getting replaced but something wasnt right. The human assassin turned around as eyed Draco..

Draco's cold merciless crimison eyes stared back into Jaden's brown eyes as the man swung his sword downward, blood coming offf the blade and into the ground. The two stood on a rooftop of a building as a smooth wind came blowing in.

"You killed something?" Jaden asked as he turned around fully and eyed the Dhampir.

"Of course..you went in the wrong direction.." Draco stated. The two assassins kept their eyes on each other. A odd sense of tension between the two. At any moment, one could have attacked one another but still..they had to work together and both were loyal and wanted things done for their assassin order.

Suddenly the end of the harpoon caught on fire, the fire itself acting like a snake as it wrapped around the man's throat, strangling him with amazing efficiency. The demon stood, growling in anger, charging forward as he rammed the man with his shoulder, sending him smashing into a wall, the fire attacking him showing no sign of stopping. The demon ripped the spike out of his jaw, throwing it aside as the skin began to heal, hands on the ground as more flames snaked toward the man, forgetting about the others, focusing now on bombarding this one until he was dead...

A quartet of red-skinned, lithe shapes slipped amongst the trees. Their glowing yellow eyes and massive sword blades, blackened and glowing with intense heat, were the only signs of their approach as they drew nearer to the battle...

Drake let the blade on the harpoon hand retract as he wrapped his clawed fingers around the chain around his neck, the sheer strength overpowering it and swiftly pulling it loose as his hands absorbed the flames wrapping it, allowing him to regain control as he leapt away from the flames, his other hand going under his trench, swinging out and upward as an oval object flew forward, hitting the ground under the Demon and exploding, the object blowing into several jagged pieces, each spreading out into a blade and ripping into the Demon's flesh before letting off another, more potent explosion, the true explosive power being in the blades, not in the initial form. the blast had ripped huge chunks of flesh off the Demon, in some cases obliterating entire muscle sets and, in one case, shattering it's lower right leg bone, the damage reaching the point the bones would, if inspected, resemble gravel. the fact most of the flesh on it's legs, base of the tail and lower torso had been stripped away by the explosion would probably have crippled the Demon temporarily, but Drake took no chances, not daring to let his guard down, now having a fair idea of what he was up against...

Immediately a fireball slammed into the man's face, exploding inches from his face, burning the flesh immensely, causing half of his face to be scorched badly. The demon was forced to remain still, waiting for his legs to heal, flinging another fireball forward, this time aiming for the man's waist, the blast of the attack threatening to detonate any remaining bombs he had...

Drake snarled as the flames blew up in his face. the skin began to heal, but it was getting costly on him. his body was already working three times as hard as normal to keep him standing, and it was swiftly exhausting him. he swerved out of the way of the fireball, allowing it to whizz past, exploding near a tree, a massive scorch mark left in it's wake. Drake charged, throwing a large Sai-like blade at the Demon with frightening speed, landing it in the Demon's face as he moved forward with a combination of superspeed and his shadow-jumping to get right in front of the Demon, ramming another oval object into it as he gripped ahold of the Demon's horn, the weight of the Demon heaving his upper body back, sending his lower body up off the ground as he let go, launching himself several feet away as the explosive detonated, blowing the Demon's head, along with a large portion of it's upper body, to bits as Drake fell to the ground, panting hard, having had to push himself to the limit to achieve this. he knew they didn't have much time, and forced himself up, slashing the remains of the Demon's arms off and throwing them into the lake, before sheathing the blades. he considered the recent close calls as he recovered from the strain of the fight. though the last fireball wouldn't have damaged his weaponry much, the force of another blow like the one to his face would probably have knocked him out. he looked towards Thanatos, Diana and Nyx, then at Velkor and finally at the Wolf. he checked himself. he only had a few of the explosives on him when the Demon attacked. the rest were in the case in the Den. checking his trench, he found the last one currently on him had been spent blowing the Demon's head off. he headed for the Mansion, looking at the others. "Get yourselves ready to move. i don't think the Mansion's safe for us anymore. if there's any more Demons, we could be looking at some serious trouble if we stay here" he said as he headed inside, grabbing the briefcase with his explosives. he decided he'd need to reach out for Brimstone's help one last time. the expenses he was going through as a result of these Demons was too much for him to keep coming back to them. his last option was to replace his weaponry, getting it made with whatever material his arm blades were made of, and getting them to gear him up with supplies and perhaps, if he could push it, get a new Safehouse away from anywhere he or any of the others had previously been. he headed into the cellar, draining several bottles of blood from there to recover as his wounds began to close up faster, soon closing up entirely, though his exhaustion was still obvious. over 70 years of Vampire Exclusive hunting habits hadn't done much to help him against these new Demons. he was soon out, the car geared to go around the corner of the mansion, him eying the Demon warily from the front door of the mansion, his aura vision watching every last move his body made, internally and externally, even seeing as far as predicting a movement by the change of focus in energy within the body...

With a bloodcurdling screech, a skinny, red-skinned Demon with a massive, glowing sword, charged around the corner of the mansion, leaping into the air and onto the hood of the car, slamming the end of its blade into the windshield, the heated blade melting its way through with surprising ease...

Thanatos breathed a sigh of relief and straightened himself. Diana looked at the remains of the demon and sighed with resignation. Nyx nodded and headed toward the mansion as well. Diana ran back up the stairs and into her room scooping up the music box and the locket. Thanatos went into the den and started knocking on the floorboards. Once he found a hollow spot he slammed his heel down hard and the board came up immediately. He scooped up a bundle and slung it over his shoulder, then he ran upstairs and grabbed his guitar. Diana quirked an eyebrow at him as she came down. "I can't live without music!" he protested. Nyx packed all the essentials and ran back down the stairs and waited for the others...

Drake's eyes slowly shifted towards the Demon, a low snarl coming from him as he leapt up, swinging his left armblade into it, beheading it and roundhouse kicking it off the car, slamming it into the wall of the building. "ANOTHER Demon who wants us dead....ugh...i'm absolutely SICK of you annoying flaming pests" he hissed as he drew his shotgun from under the Trenchcoat, firing several explosive rounds into it, the explosive blasts of the shells nearly destroying the Demon entirely with the clip that was loaded, the semi-auto shotgun not requiring a pump to chamber the next round, leaving the Demon a mangled lump of flesh. he hurled it towards the Elder Demon he had only just managed to beat, before reloading his shotgun, returning it to it's place under the Trench, his armblades out, glowing a dim red...
