OOC:
The Star Destroyer Fleet continued to unleash their turbo lasers, each turbo laser bolt litteraly had the power of a city destroying nuke and more. Each Star Destroyer was capable of completing wiping out a planet of life within an hour.
I don't think so. This annoys me for a few reasons. It is completely out of proportion when you consider the size of a Star destroyer and more importantly, a turbo laser. You realise that most cities are several miles in diameter and if what you say is true, that a single shot from a turbo laser could effectively wipe out another star destroyer?
Not to mention the fact that turbo lasers are rapid fire weapons. They don't charge up big massive shots, they just fire as much lasers as they can as quick as they can. Giving them that kind've power is ridiculous.
However, my main problem with this is the scale on which it is. Massively destructive stuff is allowed in SEW. Look at the Death Star, and what I just did to Maricas, but making that kind of destruction common place IS NOT. For the Deathstar, there was a whole battle centred around just trying to stop the damn thing from shooting.
Wiping out a city is a big feat. The only thing in the Star Destroyer's arsenal capable of doing that would be its Super Laser. That, which I have no problem with. It makes sense for it to be able to wipe out a city, but it takes time to fire and there is a big recharge time, so its ok.
One of my biggest problems with this is that it makes ground battles almost pointless. Taking what you said, the entire vong army could have been destroyed by a stray shot from a Star Destroyer. The Scale in SEW is constantly fluctuating. Try to keep it reasonable guys, I know you want to win but at the same time we gotta keep this place interesting.
Ok, rant over. Please take this into account next time you introduce a new weapon, or just elaborate on an existing one.

Thara got out of his seat and walked over to the Rec rooms console. He started a ship wide broadcast and said "
All crew, please report to the Rec room for a meeting, thank you."
The second thing he did was connect to the planetary network and looked up company prices. Most companies based on Maricas's shares were already plummeting, most people having been more concerned about their money than anything else. That was good, it meant they could probably get their hands on some new equipment cheaply, and that a new corporation war would probably spark up as the smaller companies took advantage of the vacuum.
Nightshade nodded to the captain and said "
You speak wise words, captain. My superiors wish to express their apologies that such a comfortable relationship will not be possible at the moment. As you said, in these modern times, problems are too innumerable to count. Overlooking just the threat posed by just one of them could mean disaster. We are a secretive race, we do not show ourselves to just anyone. Maybe sometime in the future, we will see Vardia as a friend to trust, but for now, your territory has been marked as an unsafe zone. Maybe the first step in rectifying this situation would be to provide me with Vardian boarder data, so that this problem does not repeat itself?"
A human with messy hair spun around in his revolving chair, reading a book boredly, ever now and again glancing at the monitor infront of him. It showed him various camera views from around the ruin. They helped him feel safe. He didn't like being so exposed on the surface but at the same time he didn't trust the deeper areas of the bunker.
