scarback had seen a raptor he had seen two days before. it approached the cave an hour before the middle of the night. the raptors who were keeping watch ignored the young raptor as they already recognized the raptor's scent. while he was watching, scarback saw the raptor and rawclaw leave the cave. as long as they stayed close, that was fine. however, suddenly, scarback felt worried about something. he decided to follow them to make sure rawclaw wasn't trying to run away. if sharpclaw found out about her hatchling missing again, she might try to attack scarback again. the yellow eyed raptor began to track the scents and found that they led away from the cave. with an angry hiss, scarback began to track the scents. after 50 minutes of searching, scarback found that the scents were getting stronger. he searched for another 20 minutes and sure enough, found that rawclaw had managed to slip out of the cave. scarback began to approach the two young raptors very quietly. he wanted to make sure he took rawclaw by suprise. the shadows and the bushes hid scarback from the view of the two raptors. soon, he was in the position he wanted to be in. he wanted to make sure rawclaw wouldn't be able to run. scarback tensed his legs and prepared to pounce in front of the two raptors. the wind was blowing in scarback's direction. by the time the two hatchlings knew he was there, they wouldn't be able to run. scarback wouldn't harm eaither of them, though.

Norsefang was studying a new home by sniffing it. Suddenly she heard the sound of feet and looked up to see a male raptor staring at her...

"Excuse me raptor, but this be my home here. I am sorry but it belongs to me. Now i ask what are you doing?" Hissed Goldfang...

"Oh, ummm sorry." she said.

Goldfang smiled, she was as tall as he was and was rather charming. She smelt of Sauroposeidon flesh combined with that of the smell of water, it almost made him drool. She was indeed attractive. He could sense no sense of offense against her. Plus it looked like she did not want to fight and was only investigating.
"It is ok, i suppose you were investigating my home were you not? It's a very cozy place as you can see. It once belonged to a Frost Allosaur but he abandoned it. And so I moved in here." He hissed.
"Yes, indeed it is nice. I live further up the Mountain Ridge. I'm pretty much the only raptor here besides you. Looks like i'm your next door neighbour. I'm Norsefang." She hissed.
"I'm Goldfang, pleased to meet you Norsefang." He hissed back...

Fatalis lowered his head. he went silent for a moment, before hissing "I have learned from my mistakes since then. i am wiser than i was. less naive, less foolish. as for that day, i have thought about it. i saw Softfoot kill a juvenile Oviraptor. at the time, i thought it was brutal, and it immediately stuck in my mind. your later response of "it's survival" only made me believe what i had seen further, and, at the time, blinded me to what may have happened prior to those events. I have now learned that that assumption was wrong"...

Sandstorm growled deep in his throat and then hissed "Softfoot killed many who seem innocecent. What I wonder is though, what brought you to your assumption, as you just stated it was survival, we never regretted our actions. But you are right in saying you don't know the full story. That particular raid was one of our more brutal strikes. But if you knew our story, you would see the reasons behind our actions. I remember for one day you were with us while we scouted this very area, hiding from Crusher. You wouldn't give up trying to convince us we were monsters. Hell by the end of it Steeltalon thought the same thing, and she was our freind." He waved a hand at him and snarled "In the past! We dont need to kill for survival anymore, infact the oviraptors were among the last to die. We lived happily, our freindship with steeltalon returned and then..... Then the rex came." Shadow leaf squiented her eyes, not wanting to speak. She turned her head and barked, trying to get Steeltalon or Darkness's attention. They would want to know who showed up.

Fatalis hissed "mistakes made in the past, have been learned from. i have since changed. i have thought more about anything i do or say, and hope that my past mistakes can be forgiven. those actions, i am greatly sorry for, and now regret them. i only hope that you have it in your hearts to not keep me in bad memory, and forgive what i have done then, and put our previous foul disagreements behind us. I will visit in a couple of weeks time, but for now, i must go. my family needs me"...

Shadow leaf was taken a back slightly by the appology. She hadnt expected it. Not many people she knew where willing to say sorry. Then sandstorm growled "Accepted, brother." as Fatalis was turning away Shadow leaf tapped him on the shoulder and hissed "Wait! Next time your talking with your freinds "the lone wolves" Look out for Softfoot, remember? She is black with gray splodges. If you do run into her, tell her that I forgave her, for this." She tilted her head showing off a small scar at the top of her neck, inflicted by Softfoots teeth.

Fatalis grinned when he heard Sandstorm's words. he was stopped by Shadowleaf, who asked him to keep an eye out for Softfoot. he nodded "If i see her, i'll make sure she hears those words. even if it kills me" hissed Fatalis. he was feeling like a weight had been lifted off his back, and was in a much better mood. "I'll see you both in a couple of week's time. for now, im off". he then left them, seemingly disappearing from view in a few moments, as his family walked off away from the two raptors...

Steeltalon lifted her head in time to see Fatalis and his family start to leave. She shifted slightly, giving Ruby a gentle nudge with her snout as the little hatchling tried to nip her neck.

Silver caught an unfamiliar scent close by, heard twigs snapping and sped up, barking at RawClaw to follow. "Someone's here. Hurry!" she barked to RawClaw as she leapt into a tree and huddled on a low branch.

Shadow Leaf and Sandstorm watched Fatalis go and continued to watch where he had been until finally Sandstorm commented "That....was.... Random. But kindv'e reliving all the same" She nodded mumering "Exactly what i thought....." She shook her head in confusion and droped down to the ground. yawning she climbed her usual treee and rested in a low branch. Sandstorm followed and rested on the branch next to her. He was still a bit confused to what had happened. Fatalis had appeared out of no where, said sorry and then left. Wierd

scarback saw that the female hatchling some how knew he was here. scarback snarled out loud:"you're not going any where, rawclaw!" scarback jumped out and gave chase. soon, he cought up with rawclaw and looked the hatchling straight in the eye. scarback hissed to rawclaw:"tell me rawclaw, did you're parents allow you to leave the nest own you're own with this younger raptor?" scarback was annoyed with rawclaw leaving the nest again. this time, he would make sure that rawclaw would be going back to the nest under his watch.

RazorEdge watched as a small off-white raptor entered the cave. He recognized this raptor and knew it had been here before as the sentries didn't try to stop her getting in the cave. RazorEdge walked closer to see Scarback leaving the cave in pursuit of the two. RazorEdge decided to follow and lied to the sentries "I'm just going to get some fresh air." He growled, the sentries noddod and RazorEdge left the cave to follow Scarback's scent. RazorEdge caught two more scents. One of RawClaw and one of the female raptor. RazorEdge followed the scent closely and soon came across the female raptor up in a tree and Scarback questioning RawClaw. "What's the problem?" growled RazorEdge, stepping out of hiding.

Blizzard rested on the ground and thought about twhat the female had said to him. "I'm sure you'll find someone..." The words rang in Blizzards ears and layed his head down and rested in the monnlight.

Fatalis hissed "next, i want to make a stop by my old friends. father, if you remember Exile and Blade, my playmates back when i was part of the pack". Midnight nodded. "Well, they're the Alpha Male and Female of the pack. i think i'll let them know it's over, to avoid any misunderstandings in the future". Fatalis continued to walk, his movement nearly unheard, as he walked through the trees towards Exile and Blade's cave...

scarback looked up and to his suprise, saw that razor edge had followed him. scarback growled to razor edge:"well, i saw rawclaw with a young raptor that has been to the cave before. i thought they might just go for a very quick walk and return to the cave. however, i don't seem to recall rawclaw's parents allowing him to leave with the female raptor. now, i came to bring him back to the cave before his parents can wake up." scarback kept calm when he talked to razor edge, not getting angry at the other adult raptor because of rawclaw. scarback quickly made sure that rawclaw was still in front of him. so far, there hadn't been any indications of large predators near by.

RawClaw rolled his eyes at the sight of Scarback. He stood in front of Silver to protect and hissed. "Yes, my parents allowed me to leave the cave. I am NOT a hatchling anymore, Scarback. I am practically a..a young adult now!" He didn't feel like dealing with this raptor right now. He wanted to continue to hang out with Silver and have fun! He didn't need a hatchling sitter anymore. There was not an ounce of fear in his eyes as he stared down at the other raptor. "I am not going anywhere. I am staying with Silver until I feel like returning home." With that, he turned away from Scarback, flicking him in the face with the end of his tail and whispered to Silver. "Come on, let's get away quick!"

scarback was suprised. he hadn't realized that sharpclaw would allow her son to leave the cave now. he thought to himself:"maybe rawclaw can look after himself now. he could have told me or the sentries that sharpclaw allowed him to leave." scarback felt foolish that he had followed rawclaw. scarback hissed to razor edge:"lets go back to the cave. i can't believe that i followed rawclaw all this way because i didn't know his parents woudl let him do that."

Darkness picked his head up, but didn't see the departing raptors. He bared his teeth slightly, knowing it was Fatalis. Darkness heard a chirp, and looked over at the nest. He made a low growl and got up, walking over to the nest and looking in. His assumption was right, now all the other hatchlings wanted to play. Darkness made the same low growl and lowered the 3 tiny creatures to the ground. The hatchlings ran over to Steeltalon and Ruby, also wanting to have something to do. Darkness walked slightly back over and layed down, playfully nudging one of the hatchlings.

Meanwhile, Blade's sickness still didn't stop. Everyone was worried about him and didn't know what to do. Some were whispering, saying, "What if this thing spreads throughout the pack?" and that, "If it does, we have to kick him out. We can't risk getting the pack sick.." They all looked in Blade's direction. His eyes were still crusty and his coughing didn't cease. He was getting thinner by the day...

green eye and his family awoke from their sleep. they were feeling hungry due to the fact the trike carcass was now a skeleton after the last of the meat was eaten off 3 days ago. the three rexes headed for the plains two miles to the north to look for a herbivore that would be large enough to last a few days. green eye spotten an old anototitan grazing far from its herd. the herbivore had a huge scar on its right hind leg which must have come from a giga or another rex. green eye and white scale moved among the many trees to reduce the chance of being spotten so eraly. although a pure white rex would be easy to see on the plains, the anatotitan didn't seem to notice. when the herbivore lowered its head, green eye and white scale charged out. the anatotitan looked up and was terrified to see two rexes coming after it. the herbivore tried to run, but its injured leg slowed it down while the rest of its herd fled. green eye and white scale caught up to the herbivore before it could run too far. white scale knocked the herbivore over and green eye bit the neck. there was a crunch and the anatotitan's life was over. green eye grabbed the neck of the kill in his mouth and began to drag it back to his territory.

RazorEdge walked back to the cave, knowing that Scarback was angry at RawClaw and tried not to get angry at him just because of a hatchling.

Softfoot lowered her jaw into the inviteing water and took a long drink. She pulled back from it "whoah" The water was like none she had ever tasted, it was as if it was flavoured with meat. She took another drink and then continued towards the old human structure. There was a large hole in the wall, as if a Spinosaurs or maybe a rex had smashed its way through it.. She walked in to the building, her claws making clicking sounds on the metal floor. There was a large tree that was growing up through the building. She ran her hand over it expecting it. It seemed sturdy enough so she dug her claws in and slowly clambered up to the top. She hoped off the tree onto the next floor. The tree continued up another hole in the roof. A large portion of foliege had fallen through the hole into the room. She lay down on the soft leaves, the sun spilling in through the hole. She decided that this would be a nice spot to stay for a few weeks, maybe longer.
