Darkness nodded at Sandstorm and Shadow Leaf, and the group continued on to the game trail. As they arrived, Darkness turned to the other raptors. You go on ahead, I'll get to the other side and wait for the attack... he growled, not giving them a chance to answer before he bolted into the jungle and continued to the other side.
Darkness arrived on the other side, but caught the scent of another predator. A Carchar. Darkness barred his teeth and ran toward the scent, soon arriving in a clearing, a sub-adult Carchar on the other side. What are you doing in this territory?! Darkness barked, getting into a defensive stance. The Carchar turned, also getting into a defensive stance. Trying to find some raptors. it growled, staring at Darkness. Darkness was confused, but then remembered the Carchar attack. Your that behemouth's son, right? Revenge, I assume? he growled, getting out of his defensive posture. The Carchar nodded and roared, bolting toward Darkness. The black raptor jumped to the side as the Carchar lunged, turning around to jump onto the behemouth's back. Darkness dug his claw into the beast and jumped off, making a large slash down its side. Darkness turned around, seeing the Carchar swinging its tail. He ducked, the massive tail going over his head. The Carchar immediatly lunged at the raptor, but Darkness was ready. He lept straight up, landing on a branch in a tree. Darkness screeched and lept onto its back again, slashing and biting its neck. The beast started to swing its head, and Darkness was forced to jump off. Darkness landed on the ground, but on his still-healing leg. He cringed, his leg collapsing. Before the raptor could hit the ground, the Carchar's massive head slammed into him, sending him into a nearby tree.
Darkness layed slumped against the tree, his leg re-broken and bleeding from a few deep cuts. He snickered, his personality changing for the instance. He tryed to get up, but falling back down. Darkness screeched in pain and got back onto his feet, limping as fast as he could away from the massive predator.
