The Daleks herded the soldiers towards the bridge silently, weapons trained in case of an escape attempt...

Grievous and his group had found the generator room, which was massive, with numerous catwalks surrounding a large, glowing green column of some sort. Walking up to it, Dutch began planting the charge, setting it for remote activation, while the rest of the group waited patiently. No sooner had the ODST finished his work, then Grievous looked up, seeing Daleks emerge from nearly every direction, filling the catwalks above them. Among them were the commander, who laughed. "Take them to the bridge! It's time for a more... formal extermination!" Butch growled, "We don't stand a chance. Put your weapons down." As much as Grievous hated to admit it, Butch was right. He and Lissarkh kept their Lightsabers hidden, however, even as they were being led to the bridge by numerous Daleks...

Spectre remained silent, still contemplating escape, hoping the others would at least aid him in escape...

The door to the bridge opened, revealing a large room, not unlike that of the Malevolence, but with a harsh white light. Grievous and his group were already there when the rest had arrived, and Butch said, "Fancy meeting you here." "It could be worse. We could be dead already," replied Dare. Over a private radio connection, Butch replied, "We planted a charge on the generator, but I don't think the Daleks noticed. If we can get away. We can destroy the ship." "Don't worry, I already have a plan." Grievous glanced over at Spectre. "They got you too, I see."

Meanwhile, half a parasec from the planet, Serephir stood on the control deck of the Executioner, moderating and directing his forces' movements in the galaxy. he had split his main force into 7 fleets. one for each end of the X, Y and Z axis of the planet, all fleets planned to stop at a distance of half a parasec away, with an occupation fleet planned to stay over Geonosis to hold back any attackers sent there. he radioed the TGDA HQ back on Geonosis. with the transmission was a schematic of his plan. "At these positions, i will have fleets readied to move in. i already have the main Dalek fleet practically taken care of. if we don't see something major happen in the next half hour, i'll go through with the initial plan and take out a sizeable portion of the Dalek fleet. i need an update on TGDA ans Imperial forces and possible points of assistance" he explained...

The Dalek commander walked onto the bridge, wheeling past the prisoners and saying petulantly, "So, the mighty armies of the TGDA think they can stop me so easily? HA! I am disappointed in your efforts." Trundling up to a console, the commander sent a negotiations request to the nearest Vardian ship, who he knew was obviously allied with his enemies...

the HVMS Executioner responded. "Oh, so the Daleks finally speak. please be quick. I'm not exactly an unoccupied person. i have other issues to deal with" spoke Serephir. he kept the TGDA HQ linked in to listen in on the conversation...

"Of course. If those plans include destroying my fleet, I'm afraid you have plenty of time. I have your allies on my ship and under my control, and unless you agree to a cease-fire and leave us to our occupation, they will be exterminated!" The Dalek commander laughed, as did the rest of his soldiers on the bridge...

"You'd think so, wouldn't you?" Spectre droned to Grievous in response, somewhat casually looking at his arm, disappearing from sight with a loud hum. Stealth camouflage active, Spectre backpedaled away from the others, knowing the Daleks would react badly to his disappearance, not particularly worried about heat detection, as his armored suit prevented any real heat from radiating off him...

Several Daleks turned to face where Spectra had disappeared, firing their beams at where he was standing last, while Dare cursed underneath her breath. "Grievous, can you tell Spectre the charge is set and ready to blow, so we need him where he is?!" Grievous shrugged. "You never know. He might have a good idea. Besides, I can't really order him around. He's more of an acquaintance than anything..." The Daleks ignored the conversation, and some charged out of the bridge, looking for Spectre...

Serephir thought for a moment. "So let me get this straight. you're telling me to cancel the liberation of the home of billions of innocent civilians, who will most likely be be slaughtered in droves thanks to you and your armies, in exchange for the lives of a small number of individuals? Let me remind you, Commander, that at any moment, i have the complete ability to annihilate your entire fleet, leaving only that one ship you have over the Trandoshan tower of Vassek. with such a crippling blow and the intervention of our allies, you could very well find YOURSELF to be the one getting exterminated. And i have no absolute proof you have my allies in your custody. take them outside, somewhere where my satellites can see them, and THEN i'll consider your negotiation" he responded...

The commander simply moved aside, and a Dalek soldier pushed Grievous into the hologram. He looked at Serephir and snarled, "Don't worry, general, we'll have everything under control soon enough." He sent his own private, text-only message through his antennae to the ship: Keep the commander distracted. Spectre has escaped, and I'm hoping he's planning to destroy the ship." The commander forced Grievous out of the way and continued. "Is that enough proof for you?"

Spectre moved swiftly toward the distracted Dalek Commander, who was busy boasting about how great the Daleks were, stopping a few feet behind the strange alien creature. Swords drawn in a fraction of a second, Spectre jabbed the blades at the cyborg's back, the lightsaber-strength blades hacking into the Dalek's shields with relative ease, threatening to cut into its "suit" completely...

The commander spun around, ray firing, though it was only set on stun. The beam blew Spectre backwards, knocking him into the bridge door. Turning back to the hologram, the commander shouted angrily, "And now, human, prepare to see what happens to those who defy the might of the Dalek Empire!" The bridge door opened, and the T-800, repaired from the earlier fight, walked in, glaring down at Spectre. The Daleks swiftly pulled Spectre's swords away from him, forcing him to face the machine on a relatively even footing this time...

"Unwise...leaving me alive like this. You'll regret it soon enough." Spectre droned, leaping to his feet, raising his armored fists to the machine. "Now...we can fight as warriors...hand to hand...it is the basis of all combat...Only a fool trusts his life to a weapon." he droned, getting into a ready stance. Darting toward the machine, Spectre lept a few feet into the air, swinging around with one leg, slamming the broad side of the limb into the Terminator's neck, the amplified strength and durability of the armor causing even the machine to stumble back. Spectre landed in a crouch, slowly raising to level with the machine, perfectly satisfied fighting it, so long as the Daleks didn't call for unfair odds...

Swiftly recovering, the T-800 stomped forward, punching Spectre in the gut and sending him skidding across the bridge floor, the Daleks moving out of the way as he did. The console screen moved to follow the fight, showing Serephir the entire battle through the hologram...

Spectre put his hands over his head, hand-springing to his feet, immediately sprinting forward, a knife, made of the same material as the swords, ejecting itself out of a hidden holster on Spectre's arm, the armored figure swinging around, away from the machine, as he hurled the dagger at the unshielded commander, the small yet extremely sharp blade colliding with its "head". Spectre rolled to the side to avoid an unexpected attack from the Terminator behind him...

The commander didn't flinch, the Dalek's actual body safely inside the machine. The commander laughed as the Terminator simply marched towards Spectre, grabbed him by the throat, and slammed him several times against the door with such force it dented the metal, before throwing him to the side. One of the commander's subordinates vaporized the knife lodged in the his dome, allowing the Dalek's shields to finally recharge.

Meanwhile, unknown to the Daleks, 7 Goliath Heavy Personnel Carriers prepared to head for Trandosha, crews boarding, Serephir among them, having ordered the Executioner's AI to create a flexible synthesized Entity in his image to make it seem like he hadn't moved, a one way holographic transmission sent to him from the Executioner to let him know what's going on and what the Dalek are saying. his response would then be sent through the radio to be applied to the holographic entity, which would behave accordingly. the invasion fleet's escorts awaited around the Executioner, ready to destroy anything that would attempt to attack them during the landings. it was a full scale invasion fleet. even the Carriers had their own advanced shielding and weaponry. in a matter of minutes, a several dozen thousand strong Vardian Invasion Force would be sweeping into the capital city. meanwhile, the Vardian warships, having been ignored by the TGDA Commanders' council, had weapons armed and ready to begin hostility on the already strained Dalek fleet, with whom the TGDA Distraction fleet still fought...

OOC: The knife is made from the same alloy as the blades, meaning if it can resist lightsabers, it can survive the Daleks' attacks.

Spectre landed on his feet, in a crouch, his armor allowing him to survive the attacks with minimal injury, but every type of metal had its limits. This applied to the Terminator as well...Sprinting forward, Spectre lept at the machine, placing both feet against its chest before springing off, going into a back flip as the machine itself stumbled over to one of the consoles in the bridge, causing sparks to leap from the damaged console, frying the Terminator's body as well as its AI. Spectre landed on his feet once again, yet disappeared in another loud hum, to avoid any incoming attacks from the Daleks, quickly retrieving the knife that the Daleks had discarded...

OOC: Guys, that fight is becoming a pub brawl "The commander laughed as the Terminator simply marched towards Spectre, grabbed him by the throat"
Thats just one example but the bottom line is that you have to factor in the speed of your opponent. Spectre is fast enough to counter or dodge the terminator's strikes. On the subject of the quote, it implies that Specter stood there going <.> while the terminator marched at him.
Be a bit more courteous about your enemies ability

One of the Longbows on surveillance duty notified the rest of the swarm about the impending invasion. The Tortoise watched the Vardian craft with minor annoyance. First the strange aliens which had helped during the attack had pounced on the planet like a hungry fox, threatening the drones with war if they interfered, now the TGDA were trying to capatalise off the Vong's defeat. (Inspection of data uncovered on Trandosha referred to the strange organic fleet they fought as 'Vong') Considering the TGDA were the original owners of the planet, the Tortoise thought it very uncourteous of them to have stood by idly as the drones liberated the planet and then still lay claim to it once the threat has been removed. Still, final judgement would have to be reserved until some sort of agreement be understood upon.

The Swarms non military personnel had arrived and were being put to work. Engineering teams were taking buildings down the surface to prepare them for installation (which could be completed in as soon as a month), transporters opened up and sat by idly as engineers designated for field repair ransacked them for spare parts. The repair job wasn't quite as elegant as that which most ships go through. Cruisers were scanned for destroyed components, damaged components were stripped off and stored, then replaced with new or at least functional ones. Armour was left as it was. The result was freakish ships with battered and blackened hulls yet with a shiney limb or two in perfect working order. In some parts it the result was much worse, with some ships being a cobbled mess of 1st and 2nd generation parts. Ark'aran had been asked for perfection, and he had delivered it, however he hadn't been asked to make refitting ships easy.

Some of the Jr-10's had more advanced sensors in their weapons than they did in their main sensor unit, resulting in some of the ship's delightedly testing their new systems with rather embarrassing results. lets just say that a first generation Jr-10's procedure for testing a proton rifle (A 2nd generation weapon) was... less than safe, for whoever happened to be serving as the dummy target in the exercise.

Unfortunatly, (or fortunately, from a health and safety perspective) the supply of 2nd generation parts was quickly depleted, leaving the fleet's offensive power slightly lower than before. The best part of the system however, hinged on the Jr-10's use of shields over hull strength. It took alot of effort and time to replace damaged armour, it took much less to replace a damaged nano shield emitter or to refuel an empty generator.

Meanwhile, deep within the ClógMór, the scavenged vessels were led into seperate massive compartments, almost like jail cells for ships. The craft being towed along through a huge twisting tunnel and dropped into the cells. Each cell was designed as a comprehensive environment, capable of simulating conditions as well as surviving an accident, for incident, if a bomb or core exploded within them. For now, the ships were kept in isolation, but soon the testing would begin...
